Brian and Ashley were great on the communication end and Luke and his team were awesome, timely and professional. They even worked with some used components mixed with old panels and new microinverters/gateway we supplied, as well as supplied new wiring for a third string we didn't realize was required until installation time. I agree with the other bad reviews... they are not responsive and prompt when there is a problem. They appear to be a brokerage company that hires solar panel installers and only facilitates the install. That is probably why they are reluctant to take accountability when things don't work right or if there is damage. When I discovered roof leak damage after the install and also suboptimal energy production, they passed the ball onto Enphase and said it was not their responsibility. read more

Especially during COVID, it's usually a little uncomfortable to have someone you don't know come to your home, but we felt well cared-for right away. Do not go through these guys. They will just take your money and leave you waiting and not respond to your questions. Installation went great, but its been sitting for 6 weeks waiting for inspection to turn it on. There is no customer support you can get ahold of. I left messages on their phone lines in multiple departments. I emailed the customer service email that had emailed me before and responded, but no response when inquiring about scheduling inspection. I had this company install solar as well as the whole house fan on my house in Brentwood, and I would totally recommend this company to anybody considering solar. Throughout the entire process the sales rep Travis kept me informed and in the loop. It was Quick easy experience. I set up appointments with five different solar companies two of them from out of the area and three locally. Travis Falcone showed up at my house on time and with a bunch of data on hand to give me an idea on the size of system I needed as well as the different types of insurance they carry and work they've done and what I could expect from him and his company. The owner Brian took the time to throughly explain how the solar power works, options available for our home & the difference in performance of the panels depending on the type we choose. These guys are great!! When I met with Brian and Bryan, I had a very basic knowledge of solar and the benefits of owning over leasing. I was provided with an extremely detailed and informative pamphlet regarding my current electrical usage, solar outputs with selected panels, and a cost analysis package. I compared this experience against the other solar companies I had met with and they surpassed the field in all categories. On the day of the install, they arrived on time and ready to get started. They had taken care of all the city permits and made sure all the materials were on site with the guys. The installers were good too. Hard working, determined, and SAFE, these guys were scaling 35 foot ladders for my two story home but made sure the ladders were secured to the house to prevent any accidents. It seems small and minimal, but that's one of the most important parts of working in construction. The installation flew by and the inspector arrived the following day. He complemented me on the system and even pointed out a few extra steps that Element Power Systems completed that wasn't required in our city, but added to the safety and production of the system. I wasn't charged for these steps, they were included in my low price quote and was just another example of how Element Power Systems took care of me. I can't stop talking about my new system and have been sharing this experience with everyone willing to listen. You cannot go wrong with choosing Element Power for your solar project. I went to the home and garden show in Pleasanton and ran into a roofing/solar company from Brentwood and we were chatting and I mentioned Element and the guy tells me "Hey I really respect Brian and his company does good work. They called us out to a job that they were doing and wanted us to see if the area they wanted to install the solar panels on should be replaced so that they wouldn't have to come back in 5 years." Last year I had a friend of mine paint the trim on my home. Why did I select him? Because people recommended him highly for doing painting work on homes and his attention to detail was outstanding. Last year I got serious about installing a PV solar system on my home. While walking through my neighborhood one day, I spotted a home with a very nice looking PV solar system installed on the roof. What caught my eye was how clean and organized the installation was. It was obvious a lot of attention to detail had been made and this PV solar system really looked good sitting on the roof of the owner's home. Days later I was again walking by this home when I spotted the owner. I stopped him and asked him who had installed his PV solar system. He said he worked through Sungevity Solar who then sub-contracted the actual installation to Element Power, Inc. He had high praise for the installation work done by Element Power, Inc. So, I decided to give Sungevity a call and see if I too could get Element Power, Inc. to do my installation. I purchased an 8 panel LG 365Watt solar system which included 8 of the Enphase IQ7+ inverters from Element power. After they came out for the first site inspection, they emailed me a quote which I was able to approve online (awesome). The system only took their 3 installers 1 day to install. It then was approved by the City inspector and PGE the following day. Its generating as of 7/22/2019 on my West facing roof in the 94565 zip code just over 19KWH. I am very impressed and pleased with the system power, the quality of their installation, all their staff, and the entire process which is painless. Much of the process was over email and docusign.
