I used to go to this car wash frequently, and they did a fantastic job. However, over the past two years, I haven't been in the area as frequently, so I haven't had a chance to return often. I decided to go the other day and get a wash. My first tip-off should have been that the line to get a wash was EMPTY (it used to be packed with cars spilling out onto Jericho Tpke). The sign for the different washes and prices was NOT posted when you pulled in, so when the attendant said regular wash, I said, "OK." It turned out it was $37 for a regular wash. The car came out, and one attendant was drying the car. They DID NOT vacuum, but that should have been included! The car looks like crap and I paid $37. I went to the cashier to inquire, and he didn't speak English or pretended not to know what I was talking about. So, I just left and vowed NEVER to go back. EVER. read more

Never ever again. The Bolla Car Wash and Gas Station appears to either have a new owner or new (mid)management. The gas pumps never have paper for receipts and their washes are not as advertised. They sell a VIP wash which prominently shows in multiple signs that it includes "mist air freshener. After paying for the wash, the cashier says "no no...no more mist air freshener. Don't pay attention to the sign." This is deceptive advertising. Consistent with the posting from another customer a week ago, the car was barely wiped down inside. Whoever is the owner or manager of this car wash should quickly reverse course or they will lose customers fast. They've certainly lost me. read more

I agree with a prior reviewer that his business changed hands and there is no customer service. I've been coming here for 25 years but no longer. When I changed cars 6 mos ago, they failed to transfer over my old account information to the new car. Except for the new license plate. On Monday, I showed up for the free birthday wash. Because they had no information, the free wash was declined. I came back on Tuesday with proof my wife's license (birthdate) but the "boss" wasn't there, so I left. Came back this morning with the license. The "boss" now tells me my wife has to show up not me. So he changed the terms. Clearly, he was jerking me around. Now, I will never pay $34 for a car wash. I hadn't been to this car wash in YEARS but I'm on the island for a month and my "dog car" was just gross so I drove over. I drove past, it looks so different. The signage is a little weird, it looks to direct you to a side street instead of the lane to enter. I was directed in quickly and greeted by two friendly workers. I asked for the VIP ($30) and Rainex (addtl. $4). When I was handed my receipt I saw that the total was $30 and saw the words FREE on another line item. Score! Free Rainex! (Read on) I went in to pay and noticed that the FREE was for an air freshener that always comes free with a VIP level service. I often forget that I'm not a hot twenty-something anymore (note: I'm a raging feminist but also seriously cheap so I'm not above being objectified if it saves me a buck). The man at the counter was nice. I asked where the air fresheners were and he pointed them out. SO. MANY. CHOICES. I went with bold embrace. Usually I'm not an air freshener type but let's just say my car smelled *Vermonty*. And I needed to give my conservative mother a ride later in the day. I was shocked when I saw my car. It looked gorgeous. Definitely worth $30 and them missing the Rainex (my fault for not looking at the receipt!). The air freshener is also really nice... surprisingly so. And it's a sexy purple pine tree in a corset... doesn't get any better than that. The price is right and the service excellent. My ten year old truck looks really nice, despite the fact that it's usually on dirt roads with two smelly dogs. read more

This used to be a great car wash until Bola took it over. The place is horrible now. I have been 3 time hoping they would work the problems out. The old car wash did an amazing job. Why try and fix something if it isn't broken?? The interior is still dirty. They blew the air hose around cleaned the windows with dirty towels. They didn't vacuum they didn't wipe down the dash absolutely horrible. I will never go back again. Not to mention it was like 34 bucks with a 5 buck tip. Screw that place. read more

The car wash is also a Gulf Gas station. on Friday just before the big storm they were about the only station that still had gas. They are a full service station, But the price is basically self serve. many of the other stations in the area had already jacked up the price as they knew customers were desperate for gas. So I've been using this car wash for some reason for my entire driving career. Just a shade under 30 years. They've scratched my car, bent hood hinges on my 67 mustang because the guy took it upon himself to view the motor, etc. Apparently, if you don't have a 100k or above car, they put you on the pay no mind list. Today I brought a filthy 2003 Nissan Frontier. There was NO ONE in front of me. No rush. No heavy traffic flow. I watched as they applied the shiny tire polish on then waved for me to get my car. Below is a photo of the wheel when I got home. So, they guy bent down, applied the "shine" on the tire, and looked directly at a filthy wheel. Both sides. My first and last time I will ever go to this car wash ever ever again! It should've been clear to me when there was no line to get in! What I did notice is the Bentley that was right behind me got royal treatment. Me a hippie in a 2012 Honda Odyssey didn't get tested the same. One guy was very nice to me and the other guys energy spoke louder than any words he could speak like I was making him do extra work. I still went in on this 90 degree day and got them both a bottle of water and tipped $7. The guy with the attitude doesn't say thank you just a put it over there. After getting home I notice what a shitty job there guys did on my new car. I planned on going the next day but raining all day. Yesterday I just couldn't get there in time. So, this morning I called and spoke to WILLIE, says he's the manager. I start by telling him when I got my car washed, he interrupts me and tells me "You Lose!" I said what do you mean I lose? As car wash places go, this one is a bit overpriced but they actually do a real good job without you having to monitor them. I find it a bit odd though that the guy who drives the cars out to the other guys who do the detail work never seems able to figure out how to get the cars re-started when those auto-locking alarm systems disable the ignition - you would think that a guy who jockeys literally hundreds of cars a day would have figured that out by now but every time I go - it is the same thing... There was a total of 3 cars at the car wash and the guy who started to run my car thru never sprayed or brushed the back of my car (they always did that at other times). When I went to pay it was $25.00 for a regular wash. I wouldn't have minded the price as I understand prices go up but my car was still dirty! I met up with m son later that day and he said "I thought you were going to get your car washed". Really? I will never go there again....never! I got home one time and found a piece of their machinery cloth cleaning apparatus, stuck in the passenger side of my car. I usually elect to wash my car on my own, occasionally I decide to allow someone else to do it for me. My last several trips to this car wash left a bad taste in my mouth. The workers are lazy and do a half ass job when cleaning the vehicles. So bad that when I go home I have to finish the car myself after already paying someone to do it. I will no longer be going to this car wash again after today's experience. They have zero regard for anyone's health as I saw multitudes of people not wearing masks properly or at all. However, something must've changed, maybe new ownership? Now, the service is terrible. I got an exterior wash (too much of a mess inside for them to do a good interior job) and they didn't bother to even dry the outside of my car. Basically, they drove it through the wash and that was it. Grease and dirt were still stuck on my bumper and grill. Soap was left dripping off the sides. No refund, no nothing. I have been using this car wash for almost 20 years. Sadly - no more. The new owners are terrible. Very expensive and to make matters worse - any SUV gets an up-charge. Even the smallest ones that are smaller than most sedans. And while the wash is the same, the detailing is not nearly what it used to be. And used to get an air freshener included with the super wash. That too is no longer included. Now about $30 for a car wash - just too much. I miss the old place and the very nice owner. Not recommended, but could work in a pinch if you don't mind being snapped at by the staff and having to re-wash parts of your car yourself afterward. Got the full wash (their most basic option: car wash, vacuum, wipe down the inside for $20). Seemed like a great deal and exactly what I needed. However, I wish I read the Yelp reviews and steered clear of here. I was spoken to abbrasisvely by the staff. Post-car wash, I had windows splattered with water marks (quick towel wipe would have taken care of that) and hood/doors still had dirt on them (how could this be possible? My car was pretty gross on the outside from all the tree pollen and sap so I came by here during my lunch break to get a quick exterior wash. I paid for the most expensive service & they didn't vacuum under the seats or in between the seats, Most of the interior was not white/dusted, they left 2 spots of bird poop on my drivers door untouched, cupholders nor door pockets were vacuumed or white out as they should've been with the extra service I paid for. This place is a ripoff. For the price I paid for a car wash and cleaning, the service was terrible. My truck wasn't fully towel dried and and streaks everywhere. The vacuuming work was atrocious. When I got in the truck, there was still dirt on the center console, the door pockets and the back seat! Crumbs were still on the floor, mats were dirty so we asked for a rewash. After that it still wasn't as good as I expected but I was in a rush so I accepted it.
