I understand that healthcare companies need to be profitable but this bill reflects corporate greed. It is the kind of bill that deters patients from seeking the medical care they need. I have been trying to negotiate this bill for months, but Optum is unwilling to adjust the charges to a more "Usual and Customary" rate. When I last spoke with a supervisor in billing she said she would get back to me and never did. I have never not paid a bill until this one. I will never use this company again for healthcare.
