Ordered here because I've grown tired of the other Chinese places. Did an online order and let me say it did not disappoint. The pork fried rice was the freshest I've had in a while, the General Taos chicken was not dry and had the perfect sauce and the egg roll was superb. There isn't a dining room(or at least that I noticed) so take out only. They do partner with third party delivery service if you don't want to go get it. Definitely will be going back! read more

Scummiest people anywhere. Bag just dripping with grease. I don't know the area and placed an order with Alina's. I could barely see the sign Szechuan Inn, I asked if this was Alina or if they had ever, heard of it. I asked there is no Chinese restaurant along here called Alina? They flat out said no. I figured i knight as well order here then. Big mistake. Of course Alinas was three or four blocks down. I went down there and picked up my order and they would not refund my money. They lied to me and then kept my money. Scummy if you ask me. Ali as in the other hand is clean, bright the food was 10x better and most of all, it has a cool family vibe. Really confused by the negative reviews here. Been ordering here for years, through doordash and pickup, and never had an issue. I've never gotten a wrong item in my order, missing an item, and never had bad quality food. The portions are also great. I think people expect too much from a hood Chinese place. read more

I would leave them a 0 star if I could, I work at a restaurant and we cut off deliveries 30 before close this place closes at 10 took our order at 9:03 and it is currently 10:37 pm and it is not delivered. we spelled out the name of our address on the phone and room number, we also said if its too late let us to order its ok and they took our order any ways. I work as a manager at a restaurant in Parkville called 'Paulys NY pizza & Ice Cream" so I know how a company is supposed to operate at the BARE MINIUM. This place is a complete joke. Me and my wife have ordered from here multiple times and received either incorrect or disgusting food. The odd occasion the food is decent but with limited choices in the area we have stuck with it. Tonight was the final straw. After not recieving two orders of egg rolls the lady(?) On the other end of the phone was so disgusting and disrespectful she called my wife multiple obscenities- C**t, B****, and said that she would fight her if she came by to return the food and get a refund. Absolutely pathetic and should be put out of business. DO NOT GO HERE, read the other reviews and take notice. - oh and to top it off as I was leaving the door almost hit me in the head popping out the hinges and they had the cheek to blame me! The best thing about this place is that they deliver, but the food isn't tasty at all. Although I remembered from previous attempts that I didn't like it, I wanted to give them another chance. For a little less than $20, I ordered: SA1 seaweed salad (looked slimy and like green dye was added to the seaweed) S2 veggie sushi maki (only enjoyable thing I ordered but...) 31 veggie chow mein noodles* 9A veggie spring roll (arrived cold) *I understand that it's difficult to take orders over the phone, especially if you're next to a noisy kitchen, however the person that took my order was really confused about #31. First, 31 can be either chow mein or chop suey. I received COLD chop suey with steamed rice, even though I asked for chow mein noodles and the clerk repeated chow mein back to me. Also, I asked if it could be made with spicy and with garlic but this was apparently a confusing request because his answer was that there was already garlic in the sauce and did I want it spicy? I requested a hot chili oil on the side just in case it wasn't spicy enough. No chili oil was packaged with my food and it wasn't spicy enough. Luckily the light yellow soup didn't leak out of the carton, but there was so much of the sauce that my steamed veggies were a little soggy. Since the sushi was my favorite and other reviewers commented that their sushi wasn't good, I will attempt to defend it a little. The veggies inside looked relatively fresh, were evenly chopped, the roll held together well, and it was colorfully seasoned with both black and white sesame seeds. The rolls were a good average size in diameter and maybe cut a little long. There wasn't enough wasabi included for me, both because I like to eat a lot of it and because I made the mistake of putting it in the oily soy sauce that was conveniently put in a container with the sushi. I should've used the soy sauce that was in the little plastic packages. One thing that is worth mentioning is that I ordered at 11AM, when they opened and although all of my food arrived cold, it did arrive in 40 minutes, as promised. Their food isn't anything that you want to eat until you're stuffed. Before you're full, you will realize that you don't want to eat the leftovers later. It is what it is, I've had better Chinese take out. I've been lucky to live in a city where the chinese takeout joints are phenomenal. Given the location there isn't much else around Aberdeen aside from your usual fast food chains. I've always had pretty good experiences with delivery/workers, and my expectations are pretty realistic. I see a lot of people expecting way too much for a $4 sushi roll from a Chinese take out spot. If you're looking specifically for sushi I'd direct you to Bel Air (Kobe if you're looking at bang for buck). The special fried rice is more than enough to satisfy my craving for some quick greasy Chinese. The sushi isn't much to brag about. I cannot speak of much else because that's my usual go to for a rainy day. read more

We have ordered from this place a few times and everyone from the youngest to the oldest has enjoyed the food. I cannot think of anything bad about it. When you think of Chinese food, this place brings it right to your door. I had some egg drop soup tonight that was phenomenal! Perfect for the cold night that it was. They also always give you lots of sauces and plenty of fortune cookies to go around. The delivery drivers have always been extremely courteous and come quickly. Only a few of our containers (which were filled with delicious food) had staples to help ensure that the food did not spill out. The staples were not difficult to remove at all and no food or sauces were spilled when opening the containers secured with them. I will not hesitate to recommend them to others. Tip: If you want chopsticks, ask for them. We forgot to ask tonight and they weren't in our order. LOL read more

The food is good, one of the best in Belcamp/Aberdeen. I called them today and they said they were closed for repairs. How unfortunate for me. Having a taste for Chinese food, I turned to Yelp... King's Chinese Carry Out seemed to have some good reviews. They have replaced Szechuan Inn as my favorite restaurant and I'll be eating there from now on. :) read more

Great food but after a 20% tip and calling back for utensils because we had just moved into our new home and wouldn't receive our things until December 2nd. She told me they don't give utensils to people who live in houses. Poor customer service but awesome food! And quick delivery. And the delivery guy was very nice. read more

This food is NOT good!!! This was my first time and the last time ordering from this place. We ordered several dishes, but I can only review 2 of them. The Shrimp Egg Foo Young was burnt and the gravy was so salty I couldn't eat it. The Shrimp Fried Rice was plain. I have Never seen shrimp fried rice with NO egg and NO vegetables (just onions) in it and the rice looked brown, not fried. I should have checked the other reviews before ordering. So I'm big on customer service which is why I'm giving this place 1 star. I can't comment on the food because I didn't have any, I walked right out. I entered looking to get some beef and rice and chicken lo mein. As I entered I said hello and got no response. I thought that was weird and just grabbed a menu to see the prices. Certainly the best food in the area. Service is unique, but friendly and attentive. Seems like the other reviews are lunch, when they are slammed by entitled assholes from Jersey who work at the nearby military base. Dinner (not the buffet, never had it) is AWESOME. Food comes out lightning fast and delicious. If you want spicy, be sure to tell them, the local palate is pretty weak, and they limit the food accordingly. read more

I've never been so disappointed in a Chinese Takeout restaurant. I ordered bourbon chicken from them before, and got mediocre bourbon chicken. I ordered this last time and got some nasty Asian red barbeque sauce. I called them and asked for a refund for giving me the wrong food. They continued to argue with me saying that's how they make their bourbon chicken. EVERYONE knows that bourbon chicken is flavored with BOURBON sauce, not BARBECUE sauce. Then someone shows up at my door just to argue with me more (bourbon chicken is made with barbecue sauce, and just because other customers don't complain about it I shouldn't) and walks off without returning my money. Despite this fact, the person on the phone said I will be getting a refund, therefore if I don't get a refund I will create a claim if the charge still exists on my credit card. read more

My fiance found a beetle in her lo mein. THEN, I show this to them and they INSIST i still pay. I took a picture of it. She called the health dept while we were still there. typical american style chinese, they also have sushi.. lunch buffet looked like mostly fried stuff so my colleague and I ordered from the lunch special menu, shrimp with vegetables and spicy were both reasonably tasty. service was very good, waiter was friendly. ambience is very far from glamorous, but then again nothing about aberdeen is glamorous.. i felt kinda bad for them because construction out front is hurting their business. 2.5 stars. read more

Compared to Lee's Hunan, Szechuan is blaaa on a fork. We order from Szechuan at work, since it's the only Chinese food place that delivers. They are normally pretty decent about the delivery. The quickest food has ever gotten here was about 30 minutes, the longest about an hour and a half. Normally it's an hour, so we just order an hour early. The problem I have with Szechuan is that all of their lunch specials taste similar. They must use the same sauce for cooking, or something. I don't know. Also their lunch specials are often times just rice and heavily breaded fried meat of some sort. So I agree with Tanya, the food in Aberdeen is pretty bad (Lee's aside). read more

Right outside the 22 Gate of APG on Rt 40. DISGUSTING. Today, a co-worker asked me if I wanted to take a ride for some Buffet Chinese food. I, of course, was a little hesitant to try what Chinese cuisine Aberdeen had to offer but didn't want to pass the opportunity to try something new. There is seating in the back when you walk in, but there is also a takeout buffet in the entrance. Smaller than what I expected (even though I really wasn't expecting much). But at $6.50 per takeout box, you really can't expect more. The food LOOKS decent, but is actually pretty disgusting. The meat has no flavor, neither did the rice. The sweet and sour pork was soggy, the chicken in the chicken and broccolli was slimy, the ribs were are to chew. The general tso chicken was the decent of the meat since it actually had some kind of meat-related texture and had an identifiable taste that reminded me that this was Chinese food I was supposed to be eating. The 'best' tasting part of the meal was the vegetables. The string beans were crunchy and tasted like string beans, and the broccoli tasted like broccoli. Needless to say, I didnt finish my food and I am never coming back here. I feel sick. read more

The food is about as average as it gets, and I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. Not bad at all, but nothing special either. Gets the job done. My biggest gripe is that they use styrofoam containers that they staple shut. That makes the food a little bit of a pain to get to, and is also more prone to sauce spillage. read more

As we were sitting in the car on the lot trying to figure out where to eat a police officer knocked on my window and asked if we threatened her, or took film of her none of which were true. It's been 3 years since I've found this place & I have yet to grow tired of it. In terms of flavor, this is definitely one of the best Chinese Harford County has to offer. The prices are reasonable and the portions are great. They are also the only Chinese restaurant in Aberdeen that does delivery, going as far as Belcamp or Havre de Grace.
