I will admit Tí Cafe has been on my to do list since living down the street from Welton Room, but having moved somewhat north I embarrassingly have yet to make it in. :-( But luckily all of that changed for me recently as they partnered with Yelp to do an amazing Elite event! They have the cutest little space, the coffee shop and owned and ran by three sisters, one of which being an artist has decorated it to create an inviting and contemporary space. I am obsessed with the logo, the warm grey walls that immediately put you in a place of comfort, and the unique art display by the front window! How cool is that? Also check out the stickers for their to go pastries. So beautiful! Having never had Vietnamese coffee for I decided to ask the pros on what to get and they suggested to go big with the Cafê Trung- Egg Coffee. It is Vietnamese Coffee with whipped egg topping, cacao powder, and condensed milk. Bonus they also have plant based condensed milk options for the dairy free! It was quite honestly amazing. Creamy, decadent, rich, but not in a manner where it was masking the amazing flavor of the coffee. This was a wonderful treat, but to be honest their coffee is so flavorful you could just get a black coffee and still be in heaven. Like wow! They also sent me home with a mango cake and red bean macaron and both were delicious! The macaron is exactly what you expect with a deliciously chewy crust and the mango cake was so unique and fluffy, I've never had anything like it but I cannot wait to have more! I have also heard they have amazing meat pies that I will absolutely be back to try. I guess the only problem now is that I will definitely be making a special trip out of the way to have Denver's best coffee on frequent occasions! The best part about this place though is that they get the coffee beans from Vietnam and support other local Vietnamese businesses!! Today was the first time I've ever tried Vietnamese coffee, and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it! I ordered the flan cafe and I'm usually so used to drinking coffees and lattes that are much lighter in color since I like my drinks crazy sweet, but was worried with how dark this drink was and considered asking them to add in condensed milk since it looked bitter. Turns out it was still super tasty without tasting like I'm swallowing gallons of sugar! The flan tasted so good with it, kinda like the pudding you'd get at boba places. Denver's very first Vietnamese coffee shop does NOT disappoint! I am just in love with this adorable little shop right off Broadway. This is a women (plural) owned, minority-owned, family/sister-owned coffee shop bringing amazing Vietnamese coffee to this city. They use a traditional Vietnamese brewing technique called Phin which is a slow drip and it really makes that coffee bold and smooth and so dang good. I have yet to try their cold brew, but I love their Flan Cafe Sua Da - Vietnamese iced coffee with a generous amount of fluffy flan topping. If you're not a coffee person, I also HIGHLY recommend The Lychee Drink - they mix sparkling lychee flavored soda with lychee whip and top it with lychee balls - this is SO refreshing, but creamy and so SO good. They also have some very unique snacks like mooncakes and a matcha black sesame cheesecake - definitely try their Banh Pate Chaud or Vietnamese Meat Pie - pork, mushroom, onion and alllll the flavor. The coffee was exactly what we were expecting and reminded us of our trip to Vietnam years ago where the coffee was strong and the condensed milk adds the perfect sweetness. I was in town visiting my best friend for the weekend, and he insisted we try Cafe Ti / Ti Cafe. I'm not a huge coffee snob... but my bar for Vietnamese coffee is set pretty high. Being Vietnamese and hailing from San Jose (aka viet central of the USA), I've had my fair share of amazing and bad Cafe Sua Da. Let's get into it! PARKING // All street parking. You might have to circle the block on busy days, but we came on a Friday afternoon and there were a few spots open on the street. SERVICE // The staff was very nice and prompt. We ordered, sat down, and receive our pastries and coffee within 10 minutes. The pastries were heated up for us. INTERIOR // Take your friends, a date, ur mom or pop. There's seating for pairs and a spot for a group up front. The decor is minimalistic with one or two artistic "statements". Great, chill atmosphere. DRINKS // I was pretty excited to try the Cafe Chung (Vietnamese coffee with egg). The egg part of the drink is an egg yolk whipped with sugar and condensed milk. It creates a lovely, rich sweet foam layer that sits a top freshly dripped coffee. The drink comes separated, make sure to thoroughly mix the drink for maximum enjoyment. Overall, the cafe chung is a win for me. The egg flavor is hardly noticeable; the creaminess and sweetness stands out much more. The strength of the bold coffee still shines through. +1! We also got the Soda Chanh, and Pate Chaud. Soda Chanh was FRESH. If you like tart, this is your drink ppls. Pate Chaud was also delish. The puff pastry part of it was crisp, and the filling was solid. TAKEAWAY // I can't believe this is one of Denver's first dedicated Vietnamese coffee shops. Y'all's been missing out hard!! Came here as part of a Yelp Elite! Invite. Walking up to Ti Cafe, the exterior was clean, chic and minimalist which was nice. Upon entering the woman behind the counter greeted me and got my order quickly. It's a simple coffee menu and I also selected a meat pastry. The coffee came quickly and was tasty. It was smooth and silky which was nice but still had a nice little bitter note which worked well with the milk/coffee. The pastry was super tasty! It was pork/onion/mushroom and was encased in a flaky crust. It was super delicious and a nice meat filling as well. The interior was clean, inviting and chic. This is a very cute, simple, modern little cafe. If you walk too fast you'll miss it! They have a very easy menu and specialize in Vietnamese coffee. If you're a coffee fan and have never had Vietnamese coffee, you must come and try it out. The cafe sua da is their classic signature drink (which we ordered). This coffee has the perfect balance of coffee and condensed milk. This is exactly how I would love my coffee daily if I could drink it. They also offer some pastries if you're a hungry. Always wanted to try this place but the parking always deterred me from going. I'm glad I eventually tried the place out and I love it! A little bit pricey for my liking but totally worth it. I am very happy to have stumbled upon this place! So far the staff have been very friendly on my multiple visits there. The atmosphere is wonderful and welcoming, it's a trendy little local Vietnamese cafe with an awesome tower display of old gaming consoles and chill hip hop and/or sexy time R&B music normally playing in the background. The cafe is definitely easy to miss if your attention span is smaller than my Dachshunds legs as it is lodged in between 1st and Ellsworth Ave and right behind the Irvington Pl. traffic signal on the left side so be sharp. (I had to pull a tokyo drift stunt when I was on the far right lane ) I rave about the iced Vietnamese coffee with flan and the ube latte with a shot of espresso because the Vietnamese coffee is that traditionally perfect balance of sweet, strong and creamy coffee and as for the ube latte, I love that they managed to actually put that real ube flavor into the caffeine which is normally a difficult thing for other places that offer ube drinks. The sesame balls and moon cake were also on point and would probably be approved by my asian relatives if I brought a dozen to a family gathering. My past visits there, I do notice that they normally switch up the pastries so snatch some for the road while they're available.
