Been going here for several years now. Terry has inventory of all kinds. Usually just what I'm looking for. I have all kinds of motorcycles (KTM, BMW, Honda, Suzuki, Harley.......etc.) If he doesn't have the parts I need, he can get them quickly. I've read some of the reviews here on Yelp, and I'm guessing it's just impatient customers who have a problem with the service here. It's NOT Amazon folks, so you're not going to get stuff in 2 days!!! His service has always been impeccable, priced VERY fairly, and done without problem. Never had faulty work done, and only ONE item returned in over 5 years. Was a manufacturer's defect, and he replaced the part (Free) without any hassle! Went to T&A never been there before was leery after reading reviews. But I'll give every body one chance. Brought a Harley wheel tire and tube 2 hours before closing. The gentleman said might not be able to get to it till Monday give ya a call when I get to it. One hour later the phone rang- got a tire mounted and balanced ready to pick up. Went in here with my husband, 4 year old daughter and 13 year old neighbor kid (whom we had just gifted a dirt bike to and are teaching him proper maintenance) The older gentleman behind the counter glared at us the entire time like we were trying to steal something instead of spend hundres of dollars in his store. Offered no help what so ever. He couldn't not be bothered to look up a part we needed that he did not carry and doesnt care about locals spending money in his shop. As a LOCAL small buisness owner myself, I'm aghast at his treatment of customers and WILL MEVER GO BACK. I'm reading some of the other reviews and am a bit shocked to see all the gripes. I have had my tires changed from him and never had an issue and he's always been polite and helpful when I've gone in for parts or fluids. Pricing has always seemed fair when I cross-reference to internet stores. Only knocking down one star because he sometimes shuts down earlier than the posted hours which can be a bummer when I try to swing by just before 5. To the dispensary customers rating him one star: get over yourselves. I went into T&A a couple weeks ago to find a line of dispensary customer cars all down the shoulder of Mono Way impeding parking and customer entry into the shop. Get over yourselves you rude, inconsiderate brats. You rate a guy one star because he wants to run his business and you're blocking his customers? Pretty ridiculous and shameful that you would detract from a business you've never even been to. You'll get your weed, calm the hell down! read more

Walked in to ask about a part for my Harley and immediately was shut down. He couldn't help, look up anything or guide me in the right direction. Not impressed. Forgot to mention they have a Harley that's parked out front......??? read more

This guy is a complete jerk. I have taken bikes here over the years and so have some friends and I'll just say no one was happy. He's even blown up a friends bike. The owner is rude and disrespectful, to his own customers and others in the community. I've witnessed him drive up and scream at a customer in the parking lot. Don't give this guy your business unless that's the service you like. Other than all that, I now have a problem getting my medicine next door because he decided the public street is his. With this pandemic you COULD be nice and civil and understand everyone is struggling....but you show your true colors once again. There is plenty of parking on the side and in front that are not affected by the business next door. I have seizures and need those medications to live life normally! You have 1/4 of the amount of customers that store does...get over yourself or out of our community we don't need people like you here. read more

Terry literally saved my vacation when my rear valve stem let go on the nearby highway. He was open first thing on a Monday and had me back on the road in a half hour. Professional and friendly, I would recommend his services to anyone. read more

So this idiot tries to tell me after I spend $80 on a oil asking for 10:30 synthetic oil for my bike I buy it and gets home and realized he put 2050 in my bag I send my old lady to exchange it for 10:30 and he tell her that they don't make 1030 or 1040 oil anymore they all bikes take 2050 and that Honda puts whatever they can in their bottles regardless of what the the label says on it it's all the big ass conspiracy this guy is a complete dumbass don't waste your time would you exchange or return the oil and like I said it was $80 for three quarts of oil and a filter bottom line is this dumbass tried to insist that I take and put the wrong kind of oil in my motor because he used it in his I'd like to punch this f****** f***** in the face read more

I bought 140$ boots and a 150$ tire as well as 100$ bucks in gloves. took my wheel in to have the tire I purchased put on. He said he couldn't because of his knee? Ok dude if you don't wanna change a tire just say so. Ruined my weekend ride plans. Bummer. Prob try another place. read more

I took my husband's wheels for tire change. The wheels are pretty much new (only 100 miles) and T&A put the tires to begin with. However, my husband doesn't like the tires and he decided to switch to a different tires. Both tire change was done by T&A. When I gave the wheels back to my husband, he noticed one wheel had a big gauge. Obviously caused from tire change. So my husband took it back to the shop after calling them first. I would rate 0 star for the shop didn't do anything to a customer's complaint. I would rate 3.5 star for finally the shop gave a refund after my husband mentioned it. It is an unfortunate situation. They lose an income and a good customer and my husband has a damage wheel. At the end, to do a business, sometimes you have to suck it up. We do the same with our business and I know how it feels. I took my 1967 Yamaha here for a simple carb clean and gas tank clean. They quoted me $120 at the most and the final bill came out to be $200. This was only AFTER I waited just shy of a month with zero calls as to where they were at in the process. I had to call them everytime to see what was going on. After all this the gas tank wasn't even cleaned. In spite of all this I was treated rudely on multiple occasions for no reason at all. I would not recommend this place for any sort of motorcycle repair. read more

Terry and his son have been great. They really know their stuff; they are the go to guys for Tuolumne County. The retail store is small but has tons of gear, lots of clothing, helmets, and dirt bike parts. I would highly recommend you check this place out if you need anything. read more

I and others that I have seen have left very bad reviews a bout this unscrupulous individual Terry Huffer. This guy damaged my motorcycle which was pristine until he got his hands on it. He scratched my Muzzy exhaust, both pipes which are $800 exhausts. He put a deep gouge in my rear polished aluminum rim and didn't balance the front tire correctly. It bounced all the way while I was riding it after I left his shop. I also have a friend who took a wheel in to get the tire changed and his wheel also came out with a deep gouge just like mine. Then as I pointed out what he had done as far as the scratches he got in my face and with a rage in his voice and face said,"prove it, prove it". He also damaged the rear fender on my motorcycle, a bend in the plastic that was not there before I went there. Overall I had a very bad experience with Terry Huffer who will never own up to his mistakes. If you want to take a chance with this jerk you enter at your own risk. The guy Jacob there that gave them a five star is a cousin of the owner of this shop. read more

TA Motorsports damaged my my pristine looking motorcycle and damaged and nicked the Muzzy exhaust, scratched all three brake rotors gouged the rear rim and left the front axle bolts loose that if I didn't check those because of the other issues with that shop I figured I better check the axle bolts since I had the tires changed and sure enough the bolts were not tight enough at all. They would have ended up causing me a catastrophic accident. This shop is grossly incompetent and don't trust their work. They will damage a nice motorcycle and do not treat motorcycle but like an old farm implement. No reason to take a nice pristine motorcycle to them, they will damage it and if like I did, show the owner Terry what they did, he will deny it and get irate and angry with you. I could really detail out he everything they did wrong there and it would be to long. I WARN YOU about this shop. Chances are like myself and two other former customers that I know their experience with this shop - dont go there unless you want to risk damage. read more
