Poor quality, poor service, battery is barely refurbished. I came in once after the battery barely held a charge, and they didnt even listen to what I said. They just hooked it up to their machine and the machine said OK and they hurried me along my way. However, the battery was not that good, and I already knew that. That was a few months ago. Now the battery barely holds a charge, and I have to get a new one. I'm not going to even go back to them, it's not worth the trouble of being stranded. I'm just gonna go to Costco and get one with a hassle free return policy. I paid $80 for battery, and it did not even last eight months. I would have been fine if they exchanged a new battery for me with no questions asked, but they did not care about my issues, and did not exchange my battery when I went in the first time. Some batteries are reconditioned, which is something that I was not informed of when I bought one from this establishment. It failed shortly after the warrantied free replacement date, leaving me stranded. Sorry to say this, because I know this is a "mom and pop" type of business, but there are better and more reputable places to buy batteries from - places that offer better warranties, more consistent quality, and more knowledgeable service. I really didn't need to go anywhere and haven't started my car so apparently the battery died on me. I tried jumping the batteries once and it wouldn't hold a charge despite having jumped it so that's when we knew it was dead dead. I found T&H on Yelp through the positive reviews and decided to give them a call. I spoke with Israel who was extremely polite and professional. I spoke to him at 10:30am and asked if someone was willing to come to my house and replace my battery because it was dead, dead and I couldn't get it to start to even go anywhere. He said someone could be there at 1pm. AJ arrived on time, replaced my battery in a few minutes and explained to me that there was acid on top of my battery and that's why it was dying. Something like that- I'm not good with car stuff so it went a little over my head tbh. Lol I appreciated Aj arriving on time, socially distancing himself from me, wearing a mask and gloves and being courteous, professional and knowledgeable the whole time. WARNING! BAD INTERSTATE BATTERY DEALER! I called ISREAL in the AM, but when I arrived his MOTHER was the only one there. SHE grunted a battery into place and was NOT happy when I asked her to please CLEAN the battery posts BEFORE tightening! Bottom line is SHE installed the WRONG (smaller) Battery for my Malibu! Yes, it FITS in the battery tray, but my model Malibu car needs the LARGER battery with MORE cranking capacity for a 6 cylinder/air conditioner/running lights etc., etc. I was told because of the CAPACITY mismatch, the battery now has a "memory" and only receives a "surface charge". I purchased this INTERSTATE BATTERY just a year ago, but starting last JUNE this battery would NOT HOLD a full charge! This problem already used up my Auto Club Towing 3X, so I took my car to "Astro Auto Electric", Lomita, Ca. Astro IS a 'Interstate Dealer' who discovered the WRONG BATTERY SIZE! ASTRO WOULD HONOR the warranty BUT they could ONLY install the "same size battery" back in! I should to go BACK to "T&H" to get the problem resolved! The local "INTERSTATE District Manager" agreed. I live in L.A. and T&H is many miles away and I had no time then to go back. Auto Zone sold me a 3-Year Battery with a true "no-nonsense warranty". Auto Zone ALSO tested my charging system BEFORE installing my new battery. Everything except the battery was 'A OK' and there were no fault codes on the computers. At T&H the same older lady was behind the counter. I told her about the three Auto Club roadside battery assists AND their battery tests. I included ASTROS's extensive testing, and Auto Zone too, but SHE used a much smaller 'handheld battery tester' and quickly declared, "IT IS GOOD"! Ten feet away I saw a LARGER TESTER with MUCH BIGGER cables and asked to TEST AGAIN under a "SERIOUS LOAD", but she REFUSED to use that one! She flatly REFUSED to swap for the CORRECT battery and would NOT honor the INTERSTATE 2 Year Warranty! When I told her that SHE never gave me a receipt, she would NOT accept the "Interstate Date Sticker" still on the battery. INTERSTATE, please know T&H is dishonest dealer! PS ASTRO AUTO ELECTRIC, LOMITA took me right in and spent a easy 20 minutes plus to diagnose my 'charging system performance' AND my Interstate Battery. I HIGHLY recommend ASTRO! I drove 40 minutes to the place only to have the worker there tell me that that was the price for a used battery. After showing him the texts he agreed to let me buy the battery for 50 dlls cash.
