I have been coming to this warehouse for countertops for about two years now, and I feel like there has always been some type of issue. Countertops never match and customer service is awful. I had an owner complain about countertops that I installed that were not the same color and when I went to the store, they refused to even help unless I brought in the physical pieces even after I showed them multiple photos of the discoloration ... after I left and came back with the countertops that were left over, they spent an hour wasting my time looking at the different countertops and ultimately agreeing with me that the colors were not the same... Despite agreeing with me, one of the managers called somebody and spoke with me briefly on the phone and refused to acknowledge swapping the countertop out, the best they could do is 50% off to buy a new piece , which I feel like is completely disrespectful and unprofessional. I was already out on the labor to install the countertop and the bare minimum I requested to at least swap them out to get the correct color , not only today, but they were also laughing and making jokes in a foreign language... and then walking away, laughing and smirking. What a completely disrespectful and unprofessional establishment. Also the prices are not the best, you will find better elsewhere.... Terrible company, no wonder why they have awful reviews on Yelp . read more

I'm a contractor and have been coming to this place for years and have spent tens of thousands of dollars at this place. Never have i had a complaint before but as the place has grown the customer service has changed. Recently i picked up an island piece and it noticeably had cracks and i was told they would not refund me or exchange it and i would need to purchase another piece. i purchased another piece as i had to complete the job and the homeowner had already made another selection and i figured i would be able to talk to the owner about it. The owner refused to honor a refund and when we pointed out about 6-7 other pieces in the showrooms had cracks in them all he said is well other people buy them like that. They have quite a few different factory-finished sizes, as well as big slabs. The staff were friendly and the owner was a great guy who didn't mind sharing his honest opinion. We purchased a good number of beautiful quartzite pieces. They all turned out better than expected. The showroom is open to the public. They will mark the ones you want to buy. I stopped in here to look for a 4 foot vanity top for a bathroom remodel. This is probably not your first (or your last) stop for such an item, but considering T&L is less than a mile from our new home, it was worth a shot. When I walked in, I was impressed with the size of the place, and the apparently huge inventory of countertop material: The walls bear displays of huge slabs leaning up against the walls, and the floor has stacks and stacks of granite, marble, and probably quartz materials. Not ONE of them has a price on it... which is interesting, because several reviews state the prices here are lower than many other places. I wandered around for about ten minutes completely unbothered or acknowledged by any employee... although thankfully a dude with a forklift carrying a big slab of granite from point A to point B did not run over me. I found a door leading to the "office," and went in to ask for vanity tops. A couple of nice gals were sitting behind a counter and a COVID plastic screen. I asked for a 49 inch vanity top-- pretty standard for a 4 ft. vanity. They smiled at me like I was a leper, and pointed back towards the giant "showroom"/warehouse. Walking in the general direction of their pointed finger eventually ran me into the tops, and they had nothing I needed: a few four-footers, but they were all single hole drilled, very busy granite patterns, and not really what I was looking for. Overall, I can see giving this place another look for countertops, but I'll probably take someone with me that is more knowledgeable than I am... goodness knows no salesperson or employee ran up to me to answer my questions. read more

My actual experience at the shop was great and I was very happy to find pre-fab quartzite. However, now that it's been over a year or so, I'm wondering if the counters I bought are even quartzite. They're etching and dulling almost like a marble material. It's unfortunate bcs I've done so much research on quartzite before I purchased. Have friends that also installed quartzite around the same time (from Different suppliers) and they look shiny and brand new. Saddens me that others may be thinking they're getting what they've researched when in fact, I purchased a material that is definitely not living up to its name. Curious if anyone else has purchased quartzite from T&L. I haven't contacted the shop directly but would love to hear if they have any comments. I live in the San Fernando valley, and after looking and pricing prefabs in the valley, I decided to take a drive to T & L. Pricing is much better than any place in the valley, and they have a wide selection of tops. They also have samples, which non of the places in the valley offered. Purchased material and tagged the one we wanted. Installer picked up and installed it. Came home to find out it was the wrong countertop design. I called to resolve the issue and pick up the piece we tagged, but I have not gotten anywhere. Either it was tagged incorrectly, or our installer was given the incorrect piece. I told them to check the cameras, and it will show which piece I picked but received no response. Basically, I'm stuck with an ugly countertop piece I didn't choose. Bummer. read more

It's been a year and half since I had my quartz countertops installed and it has discolored to the point where I need new countertops. I have had a few remodels in my lifetime and this has never happened before with other companies. This started happening after 4 months of installation and I had my contractor contact them, but they just told me to buy something to clean it. It obviously wasn't that issue. After contacting them again, they never replied to me email. The quality of the quartz is terrible! I'm very disappointed with their service and products. Worst customer service ever. We purchased stones and installation services, but their installer stood us up and wont give us a call to get an estimated time. I called the store four times and every time they said they would call me back but they never did. Is it so hard to give a status update? It's such a frustrating experience dealing with people who don't care. Some reviewers said their stone prices are good, but I found other vendors with quality stones at a lower price. Would advise against anyone I know who wants to do business with them because they will waste your time and disappoint you. They delayed our remodel project and wasted our time and trips. This is a great place to buy your countertops, granite, stone, quartz, etc. I have been to slab yards in the past because of remodels, but this is hands-down the nicest, cleanest, most organized one I've ever stepped foot in to. The staff was attentive and incredibly helpful and patient and I even had a chance to meet the owner who was a very nice and likable guy. Their selection is stupendous and everything that they have on their wall on display is actually in stock, which cannot be said for a lot of slab yards. Absolutely horrible customer service. We used to shop for stone here because of their competitive prices. We do residential and commercial remodels and on our most recent project, there was a mess up and the wrong $400 piece was sent out to the site. We tried to discuss this mistake over the phone with one of the reps, but they refused to hear us out and only wanted to put full blame on us. So then I drove there myself, hoping a face-to-face conversation would allow for us to figure out how the mistake was made and then come up with a reasonable compromise. By the way, every single woman working behind the desk here looked miserable. It was very noticeable. After explaining the situation and trying to work with Monica to figure out how the wrong stone was ordered and picked up, the owner came over and spoke to her (mumbled really) and never once made eye contact with me. And I was standing right there! He didn't want to hear from me or discuss options for a resolution. Complete disrespect from this owner! Well, because of this, they are going to lose us as a customer and several thousands of dollars in future business. There are so many other stone places we can spend our money at and not be treated with such disregard. This a follow up to my post regarding the installation guy, Abraham. i think my post was 6 days ago before this post. Please Please do not use this person. plumber installed my faucet and had the hardest time to get it centered because good ole Abraham had the right and left holes off badly where I have to add a caulking around the base of the left fixture to disguise a small opening. what a freaking lousy so called fabricator. my grandbaby could have cut the hole straighter. abraham is no true fabricator, someone making a quick buck. everything was crooked and lopsided. T and L should never refer this guy or anyone unless they have visibly seen the work. read more

The service and product selection here was incredibly disappointing. I recently moved to a new home and was hoping to find Calcutta marble like quartz countertops. When I arrived at the store the owner was rude and did not want to spend time going over the options available.
