My nails looked like 3 days after getting a full set dip.

My initial visit was great. This was a brand new business that was right across the street from my house. My mother and I have been looking and looking for a good nail salon. We tried this nail salon the ladies were super nice it was cute fun environment I really thought that I found our next nail salon. I paid for a full set dip and within just a couple days all of my dip powder started flaking off. I let them know they made it right had me come in tried to fix my nails cut my cuticles and then I rounded up with a bad infection. I feel like they used unsanitized tools and I also questioned whether everybody there is actually licensed to be working.

I Plus the place smelled really toxic like they have the shop very poorly ventilated & I was getting a headache. Then, the woman who is helping me said "Next time you pay cash. Cash is better." and I'm thinking, Ho is it better for? Not for me I don't carry cash I use my debit or credit card so that seemed really sketch to me and I'm NEVER going back. Buyer beware Well, I'd hate to think if I wanted to do any cooking or gardening these 3 nails would have probably completely came off and not just lifted. My regular place is getting remodled that's why I had to find someplace else. My nails never lift and stay on for 3 wks although I get them done every 2-21/2 weeks and they don't lift or come off. Like I said Buyer Beware! I wouldn't give them 1 star it's just I'm forced to. Do a better job! Nails shouldn't pop after 7 days. Don't be askin customers for cash you look corrupt and buy a ventilation system before you make the customers sick and the inspectors shut you down for violations like improper ventilation.

It's a bright, clean salon that feels really friendly. The people working there seem actually OK with being at work, and there's lots of laughter and chit chat. It's very lively, compared to other places i've been to where the salon employees seem to work hard ignoring you. I had a pedicure and bio gel extension nails manicure. They are *serious* about cleanliness and sanitation. My feel felt great and toenails look terrific. The bio gel nails are a true game changer! They are indestructible, smooth, and easy to file down if needed. I even went back after a week to get a new gel polish. I am really happy to find a chill salon.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR BUILDER GEL I've been here twice before…read morethe first time with Ann for a glazed doughnut mani was great, but she no longer works there The second time I got a mani and gel pedi but the tech did not seem very skilled at basic polish it was all over the place and sloppy before she fixed it But today was so bad I should have taken a video but was in disbelief and was trying to be polite I'm from LA where nail tech skill is VERY good. Today I went in for a full set builder gel and it was the absolute worst technique I could imagine, she applied giant globs of gel at the base spilling all over the edges my nails were fat and lumpy and uneven and then barely any at the tips and I kept telling her this is not proper technique she should be applying an even layer all the way down and she said she would file it later. I kept insisting she stop doing that but she didn't listen. She CURED THEM with giant globs then filed them and I was like you don't see the globs? There not even! They're lumpy. This is the epitome of what every video online wil l tell you NOT to do! I had to teach her proper technique that she should be applying an even layer. My nails looked horribly and she basically had to file off ALL of the builder gel and then go over it with regular gel. To finally make them look normal. The sides are still fat and lumpy. I had to file them myself when I left. I was planning on coming here to get my nails done for my wedding in a few weeks but unfortunately the skill level at this salon with builder gel is very alarming. I wanted to stop her but the gel was on at that point. I'm flying to LA tomorrow and will have them fix it. I'm not trying to be mean but the management needs to teach proper technique. It was low effort and they should take better care of having higher quality skill. Please watch a video online or tik tok of how to apply builder gel if you go here and then compare the technique they are using you will see it is not industry standard. The place is beautiful and I really wish I had a better experience because my first one was wonderful. But the results have been too inconsistent each time

I was leaving for vacation the next day and my finger was swollen and sore for the entire trip. I did book tips for my nails but there was a language barrier, so I did gel. Which was fine, the manager came in and said to me "you booked for long nails" and she seemed upset and told me she would take of the gel and do the tips. I said no, I had already been there for 45 mins. Then she proceeded to yell at her staff. Then she came to me and said you should have told them long nails, so next time say long nail because we can do that here you know? We do everything. I won't be back. Thank god my finger didn't get infected, but it hurt like hell for like 5 days. And I didn't appreciate the manager yelling at her staff or getting pushy with me

She was able to switch on and off each time each customer needed to soak/dry their nails, or just found the perfect time to go back and forth between customers! Even after all of that, she managed to finish my nails in 15-20 minutes, which was even faster than I expected! You're doing amazing at your job, Jolie! Thank you so much for all you do !

Can you imagine a pedicure in a PRIVATE room, with someone who speaks perfect english so an actual conversation can possibly ensue, and communication about how you'd like your feet/nails done is a breeze? I couldn't. It was refreshing not to have to ask, "What?" 10 times throughout my pedicure. Have you seen Anjelah Johnson's nail salon comedy bit on youtube? That is much closer to how normal pedicures go. This was delightful; a private room, sanitary procedures and a very fun and personable lady. The nail colors (OPI) were all on artificial nails, in a little box for you to pick through while you sit, and you can see what they'll look like on your nails, no surprises once they're applied. This was the best Mani/Pedi I've ever had, in a private room where people are not walking by, walking in, or sitting anywhere in your view. It's amazingly relaxing. That being said, I am the kind of person that mostly allows myself these luxuries because you get a free massage from the fancy massage chairs that almost feel like human hands. Hands Face Body Place had a massage chair but it was lacking, one that just kind of shakes, and now I need to book a massage instead. Call me cheap, whatever, but next time I guess I will take the language barrier and public gawking at my adorable toes in order to get the massage. If they do upgrade the massage chairs, I'll be there once a month!
