Really friendly mani place. They have all the requisite, various colors, massage chair. Their nail polish is not always fresh and you might want to bring your own. Got a deluxe pedi and mani. They switched off on who did my mani and pedi, which I'd rather have one person do both. The manicure was good but could have used a little more cuticle work. The pedicure was better and really enjoyed the hot towels and paraffin wax. There's a small parking lot in the back. Would go back again. read more

I had the best pedicure here with Angel she is amazing and really does a great job. I had the deluxe pedi and boy was it I will definitely be going back for more and asking for her by name. I went right after work on a Monday and it was quiet and relaxing. read more

Nothing outrageously bad happened - but I wanted to treat my friend to a pedicure for her birthday and the vibes were a little off, Zero music playing in the store, tv was off, so it was dead silent the entire time. The girl who did my nails had airpods in so we both felt awkward making conversation or asking questions. I left with gel on random parts of my toes like it was done so hastily (because it was). but $115 later we left what was an extremely awkward experience with semi ok nails. I'm sure there are much more inviting places to go... and I would check those out first! read more

I had a relaxing 2-hour mani-pedi at Beaumont Nails and Spa just in time for Valentine's Day. Mimi, my nail specialist, was fantastic. I highly recommend her. Nini has also been a favorite. Both are friendly and very thorough. Beaumont offers wine, sodas and tea. This week I selected a mimosa. I live in the neighborhood, so have used Beaumont Nails and Spa many times since they opened a number of years ago. I often take friends or family members. It's a great way to socialize and relax. I recommend that you call in advance for an appointment. They can get pretty busy. read more

I've been going to Beaumont for years for pedis, manis, and acrylics. Everyone does a great job, service is friendly, and the space is clean. Recently, I've been requesting Nini to fill my acrylics. She has great attention to detail, and she always creates such a thin, natural looking nail. She's friendly, and works quickly. I'll continue to ask for her when I book my next appointment! I was disappointed in pedicure. 1st they kept digging after I said it hurt. I don't have ingrown nails but honestly they shouldn't be dealing with that as it can cause an infection. The person next to me kept saying it hurt. Then checking out they charged me 80.00 and asked for tip. Not sure what 80 was for thru didn't remove policy I had shelac put on. read more

Told if I paid extra to get "dip nails" they would last maybe up to five weeks and "so much better for nails". I wanted thin natural looking nails with natural curve on top. What I got was thick, lumpy pointy nails. And to make matters worse on day four the nails just started disappearing. I have never had toenails or fingernail come off like this. Very disappointed in both the way the nails look (lumpy, thick and pointy ) and how quickly the came off. Something must have been terribly wrong? I could have painted my own nails with OPI nail polish, and saves me the $110.00 and had them last just as long. I hope Beaumont Nails will either refund my money or redo this botched job. Too bad I look like this on my vacation. read more

Horrible. Came here on the recommendation of a friend . But should have stayed away due to the reviews. Women who did my pedicure seemed annoyed to work on me, I can literally feel her cutting my cuticles as she was a little too rough - hardly ever felt that from other places ... and then guess what she cut or pulled a little too much - it bled a little and still sore the next day. For some reason she did not put the tie separators on me like the others... she was done and hurriedly walked away. Toe nails looked like it was only 1 coat and I have some polish on the sides. And the next day what do you know I get a chip. Basically a botched job. 2 stars for my gel manicure as a different lady did them . As she was nice. Should have looked and listened to the Yelp reviews and not my friend . Oh yea and they prefer cash cash cash- there's an ATM at the front desk which is an obvious sign . Went and got my nails done at my favorite nails salon. It was well needed. Every time I go, I leave with the biggest smile on my face and my eyes are glued to my Gorgeous nails! They even offer refreshments while you get your pamper on. These ladies seriously 'NAIL' it every time. I won't go anywhere else. Tina is my go to! read more

Staff were friendly, I walked in they were a bit busy. I waited about 10-15 minutes from my scheduled appt. I gave them an inspo picture I asked if they would be able to do it, and they said yes. Halfway through they didn't have the light gold color I chose for my tips, so they improvised and put like weird glitter powder. I feel like I should have just taken it as a sign but I was already sitting down halfway through . Also when the nails tech was cutting the nail tips after sizing them (I was getting coffin shape) the nail tech cut off a corner I could see it very uneven, one side had a coffin shape and the other side was like a stiletto shape . She was listening to someone else's conversation and turned around while cutting it. I knew it would bother me looking at that nail. She gladly replaced it. It took her 2 hours to do my nails and I was so tired. I never had my nail tech take longer than 1 1/2 My nails are nice but not what I wanted. Another add on she cut my cuticle way too much on some fingers and it really burned when she was putting on the chemicals. Two of my fingers were bleeding but she didn't say anything to me about it. The nails came out round and bulky and the tips are uneven. I have a usual tech in Hillsboro, I just moved to the Portland area. I would say if you have a nice design you want, don't come here. If you're going for just basic colors then this is the place. read more

I wanted to like this place so badly considering I live less than 5 minutes away. I've been looking for a new spot to go on a more consistent basis and thought this could be the place. It started last Friday when I called first thing in the morning to make an appointment. They booked me in the afternoon for a full set and pedicure. Upon arrival, I was asked to "pick a color" even tho I already had my very basic color already in mind. I proceeded to wait 30 minutes until I just got up and left. I told myself they were just busy and went back a few days later (Monday). Upon arrival on the second trip, I showed the nail tech a picture of what I wanted. She said okay I can do that, and I sat down. Halfway through my full set she tells me she can't actually do what I want because she doesn't have enough time. I'm confused because why didn't you just say that when I first showed you the picture? I wouldn't have stayed. The service was horrible. My nails are horrendous. So thick and gross looking. I actually asked for coffin and was given this. When I said something about the shape, the nail tech was snappy and said she wasn't done and would be filing them down. This was the finished product. They are so ugly lol please don't even waste your time here and just go somewhere else. read more

Excellent work: everything is very clean, employees are very nice, and they take lots of care taken with the nails, including a good deal of pre-polish treatments for the cuticles or with calluses. This is the only place I'll go and I recommend it highly. read more

Excellent manicure service. Relaxing and thorough spa pedicure, definitely a go-to when I have guests in town. They offer a complimentary beverage with your service & work very hard to accommodate walk-ins on top of their steady flow of appointments/regulars. I haven't tried their waxing services, but they always answer the phones quickly and will answer any questions you have with kindness and a smile, even when they are busy (which they usually are) read more

I called early on Sunday hoping to confirm operating hours when I was informed I could come in now (30 min before open) to get taken care of. I jumped at the chance to beat the crowds and get my day started with a pedicure! Ann was my technician and she was very personable and took her time to save my toes from becoming the claws they were on track for. I didn't feel rushed and as the other workers showed up, she was able to continue taking care of me while the others prepped the shop for the day. The free drink was icing on the cake and I was able to enjoy a mimosa while getting my nails done. Overall, a perfect way to start my Sunday. While masses of people were outside running in the cold, I had a drink in hand and my feet soaking in some warm water with a hot stone massage on the horizon! Check it out! Now! read more

Had my first appointment here and it was fantastic! Did a dip nail with a gold glitter to pink ombré done by the employee named Lee. They recently got there dip powders and they did not go to shame! Their customer service is fantastic as well. Got a complimentary drink and after dropping it by accident, they handle the situation very well. The spill was cleaned without any complaints and they continued service as if nothing happened while giving me a new drink. Overall would highly recommend trying dip nails! read more

After I explained that I had called earlier and was given a 4:30 appointment, she insisted there was no appointment on the schedule and repeatedly asked who I had spoken with. At that point, I explained that all I needed was a basic acrylic removal. She eventually told me to wait, so I did. Not only was the service disorganized, but I also felt I was overcharged for such a simple removal service. The overall experience felt unprofessional and unfriendly. The staff was rude, communication was poor, and there was no effort made to provide a welcoming experience- even something as simple as a polite goodbye was missing. If you're looking for a salon that values customer service and respects its customers' time, I would suggest trying another nail salon. We were ready to be pampered and pay for deluxe pedicures, but this was the last time we'll get our nails done here.

She responded very quickly to my message quickly when I expressed dissatisfaction with my hair afterward, and offered to redo the color but I'd rather wait for my hair to grow out as it's several inches too short and already has layers of color in it. I arrived at 11am for an appointment that my confirmation said would last until 1:30pm and we didn't finish until 4pm. She did my cut first and then did the baby lights- they added nice color and dimension to the hair as desired. But she then did my roots and combed the color through. While my color was processing, someone arrived for a haircut and had their haircut done while my color sat. Around 45 minutes later, my color was washed out and was darker than I expected- most of the baby lights were no longer visible. She mentioned the color will fade to be lighter as expected, but the result was surprising. I also asked for 2 inches or so to be cut, and mentioned I wanted to be able to put my hair in a ponytail still. When facing the mirror, the length was going great and she showed me it could still go in a ponytail. When turned around, I lost several inches for some reason and there was no going back. She took off even more in the back, and I left unable to put my hair in a ponytail. I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication and she thought I wanted the grow out to be able to be in a ponytail, but I don't think so since she initially showed me she could put it in a ponytail. By 4pm I was tired and hungry and ready to get home- she asked if I wanted to see the hair blown out and styled which I did but just wasn't up for given the 5 hours I'd been there so I said no. There was also another person waiting for their 4pm appointment to start. When I did straighten it at home, I was surprised by my hair. I've gotten cuts that suit curly hair on many occasions and have always been able to wear the cuts straight too. This cut when straight appears uneven and choppy. The transition to the short back is awkward. She'd mentioned that at the end she'd go through and do any evening, cutting of long pieces etc needed but by then, as I'd mentioned, someone had shown up for another appointment at 4 and no additional cutting was done. I'm not sure if it was an off day, if my hair just took a few hours longer than expected or if she typically stacks appointments but things seemed rushed between the clients. I've never had someone try to do a whole haircut while dye sits on and I felt like my dye was likely left on too long due to it which resulted in the darker hair and missing baby lights. I've included pictures of my hair before the appointment length wise, what I asked for, and what I got. Given the many positive reviews, I'd say this could be chalked up to an off experience but given the starkly different results I thought it was worth sharing.

After the technician filed down my nails and cuticles, she didn't clip the extra pieces of skin off. 2. Friends and I happened upon this shop while we were in Portland and truly lucked out. Two of us were looking to get acrylics done and one shellac as well. Offered us free wine while we waited and were clearly extremely knowledgeable about what it was they were doing. Totally revamped a set of acrylics that had been done poorly, and all three of us walked away very happy! Friendly staff that knows what they're doing and a very clean location. This nail salon is small and clean. It isn't the poshest 5 star spa or anything but I was greeted with friendly smiles. However, with most salons they are transparent about the price of the service or tell you about extra costa before you begin your service. When I walked in I asked the person at the counter if I could get a full set. I have gotten a full set at other salons in portland and not been charged extra for gel or not gotten gel. Typically with gel they give you a specific board of color options or a key ring of colors that are different from standard polishes. The color I picked was among all the options and so I didn't know, nor was I told, it would be gel. Once I landed on my color, Anna started doing my nails. It was going well and felt normal until she started to hold my hand flipped from me, essentially twisting my arm for long periods of time while she filed, cut or put the nails on. The service in total rook 1.5 hours, which is fine but felt longer than necessary. At some points when she was drilling my nails down (a process done before applying the glues and fake nails) she drilled so close to the tips of my fingernails it was pressing into my skin. I flinched because it hurt, she didn't ask if I was ok and then kept doing it. I even told her "ow that hurt after she did it for a 3rd or 4th time. After we were done with nails, they made me buy a nail file and buff because that's standard in Portland and I was fine with that. What I wasn't fine with was the fact that there was a hair in the bag they gave me. The nail tech opened the bag multiple times ro use it he file and never even tried to remove the hair before giving me the bag. Again, my nails look great, there was nothing wrong with how they came out but being charged $20 more than the listed price, having my arm twisted and my pain not being acknowledges really dampened my experience at the salon.
