DO NOT GO HERE FOR BUILDER GEL I've been here twice before the first time with Ann for a glazed doughnut mani was great, but she no longer works there The second time I got a mani and gel pedi but the tech did not seem very skilled at basic polish it was all over the place and sloppy before she fixed it But today was so bad I should have taken a video but was in disbelief and was trying to be polite I'm from LA where nail tech skill is VERY good. Today I went in for a full set builder gel and it was the absolute worst technique I could imagine, she applied giant globs of gel at the base spilling all over the edges my nails were fat and lumpy and uneven and then barely any at the tips and I kept telling her this is not proper technique she should be applying an even layer all the way down and she said she would file it later. I kept insisting she stop doing that but she didn't listen. She CURED THEM with giant globs then filed them and I was like you don't see the globs? There not even! They're lumpy. This is the epitome of what every video online wil l tell you NOT to do! I had to teach her proper technique that she should be applying an even layer. My nails looked horribly and she basically had to file off ALL of the builder gel and then go over it with regular gel. To finally make them look normal. The sides are still fat and lumpy. I had to file them myself when I left. I was planning on coming here to get my nails done for my wedding in a few weeks but unfortunately the skill level at this salon with builder gel is very alarming. I wanted to stop her but the gel was on at that point. I'm flying to LA tomorrow and will have them fix it. I'm not trying to be mean but the management needs to teach proper technique. It was low effort and they should take better care of having higher quality skill. Please watch a video online or tik tok of how to apply builder gel if you go here and then compare the technique they are using you will see it is not industry standard. The place is beautiful and I really wish I had a better experience because my first one was wonderful. But the results have been too inconsistent each time read more

It's a bright, clean salon that feels really friendly. The people working there seem actually OK with being at work, and there's lots of laughter and chit chat. It's very lively, compared to other places i've been to where the salon employees seem to work hard ignoring you. I had a pedicure and bio gel extension nails manicure. They are *serious* about cleanliness and sanitation. My feel felt great and toenails look terrific. The bio gel nails are a true game changer! I believe it was Kelly that did my mani/pedi. She did an amazing job on both! It's a nice place, scheduling was easy, & they got me in a little early. My only complaint is that I was disappointed they didn't have neon colors in non-gel polish (at least not that I was informed of). Since that was what I wanted, I ended up paying $40 more than I had intended. Which is a bit steep. I'm still incredibly happy with the outcome though and will for sure be going back! read more

I came across this place as I was searching for nail salons that offer alternatives for acrylic. After considering the excellent reviews, I decided to try it out. I was able to make a same day appointment which was nice. The salon is very beautiful! However, the service I received tainted made my overall experience making me not want to return. The nail technician I was paired with did not seem in the best mood. She barely said much to me during my manicure service which wouldn't necessarily be an issue if at least the service was good. She seemed visibly annoyed, and was passive aggressive nearly the entire time. She did not begin to be somewhat kind until the last like 10-15 minutes of my second service being done by her. I felt rushed out. I was even unaware of the complimentary drinks. As for the actual nails themselves; she didn't start my nails at the base so it looks like my nails are already grown out a bit. The polish on my toes is very streaky. They definitely needed another coat. It looks way worse in person. I didn't say anything while I was there, because I did not notice until I got a closer look at home. This place is pricey, and I personally don't think it's worth the money. Additionally, they aren't very clear about pricing. I don't think what I received and experienced is worth $132. Wishing you better luck if you decide to try it out! read more

She was distracted, talking with the other technicians about a client( super unprofessional). It became so obvious that it made me and others uncomfortable. She did not engage with me until the last 10 minutes of the appointment where she smiled. You would think that a technician would want to engage a new client especially! My manicure looked grown out. There was no precision or care given to my supposedly wonderful manicure that i waited to receive at such a high price point. While this salon is beautiful and clean, the training given to technicians is clearly not there. If I am paying almost $150 for a gel manicure and pedicure, I expect to receive top notch service. This was disappointing. I would much prefer to pay less for a higher quality manicure and service. read more

I've been to Glamour Nails numerous times always had great experience! I took my niece for first time . We made an appointment but I was late because I had to run to the bank and get cash. I know they prefer cash and they discount you if you pay with cash and then you can tip nail artist. The lady owner is usually nice she always greets me nicely but seemed flat. We were getting our nails done the man owner kept coming by nail artist and looking at her work and giving mean looks and not telling her anything. It was really awkward. When I was paying , he rang it up with credit card machine for $179, I told him I have cash he said ok. I told him don't you give discount with cash he said no it would be 185 with card . It makes no sense because why wouldn't you ask first before you rang ir up? He always rings me up he tell you price and when he knows you have cash then he tells you how much? We liked our nails and our nail techs ! But they do some shady stuff. There's so many nail Salons out here and it's sad that I have to change but I'm not giving my business to people who take advantage of customers. No I didn't complain I don't have energy for that . This salon is new and we only went here one time. I got gel x and in less than 24 hours three nails popped off. Literally came off. I tried to ask if they were using apres brand nails I couldn't get a strait answer. They fixed it the next day but I took all the nails off and just did a regular gel manicure I should have been offered a refund which I wouldn't have accepted but they didn't even offer. nail tech was super nice and got in right away. my nails look amazing but they were not clear on the cost of everything as when I got the total for a full set of gel and then basic pedicure with gel the total was 172.!!! they added more on top of more as they didn't tell me that having chrome on top of French tips was extra. then when I asked for a flower on my nail they then filled it in with chrome without telling me until after the fact! they definitely need to be up front about the cost of everything as the prices don't align throughout the store. read more

I am happy to say that Glamour (more specifically Lina) delivered beautifully! I went in for a hybrid gel set in which (I believe the owner) explained the differences between nail options and differences! Lina was extremely attentive, kind, and gentle. I did bio gel and a regular pedicure with Mai and it was really great. She is one of the most detail oriented nail techs I've ever had, and my nails look so good. Not thick at all with the bio gel and nicely shaped. They do a different style of bio gel than I'm used to in LA (painted from a tub instead of using a more traditional bottle of polish), but it looks just as good. The salon is gorgeous--as pretty as their picture online. The owners provide great service. Really easy to make appointments online. They offer free drinks during your visit. So clean. I should have spoken up but I didn't do that so I'll take ownership of that. I actually do like the place the first time I went but the 2nd time my experience was overall bad. I was unlucky and got the owner as my nail tech and she was busy checking customers in while overseeing the store. Nonetheless she was rushing through my nails. Instead of properly removing my acrylics, girl popped them off and it was painful. Instead of taking the time to change the drill bits, she used the sand paper for most of the polishing. I had to ask her to stop because my nails were burning. Again, I should have spoken up because my nails have been feeling sensitive for a few days now. Definitely give other nail techs a try, but I'd avoid the owner sitting in the front. Oh also, she up-charged me too. The service was supposed to be $62 plus $15 (for proper nail removal). She charged me $77 plus $5 (after improperly taking off my acrylics). I do not mind paying for extra services especially since proper nail technique is important. read more
