During our visit to Portland, I didn't have time to do my nails at home, so I knew I'd need to find a nail salon upon arrival. We came across Eden Nails while leaving a local food truck park. Walking in, we were quickly seated, offered drinks, and received service right away. I followed some advice from reviews about trying the Vietnamese coffee, and I'm glad I did--it was fantastic, so don't miss it! I didn't catch my nail tech's name, but she was friendly and funny, making the experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Portland and needing a quick fix or if you're a local in the area, phenomenal service!! read more

Came in with no appointment and was taken right away. Was surprised that only one other client was in the shop. The two ladies working were both super sweet! They did a great job on my toes and hands. I was really impressed I didn't even have to ask the young lady doing my mani to not buff my nails because they are thin and peel. The shop is small, but I like that. Their prices are good too! I will definitely be back again!! read more

I love this salon, there was about 3-4 people ahead of us when we came in and the wait wasn't long at all. The chairs are comfortable and feel so good on my back, and the ladies here offered us beverages when we were seated. I love how my nails turned out, exactly what I wanted! read more

Walked in and tried out this new nail salon and loved my gel manicure from Vivian! She took such great care of removing my old gel manicure and was super detail oriented with this new spring design. She went above and beyond to make the flowers look 3D. I'm amazed!!! I'll definitely come back. Super friendly salon with complimentary tea :) next time I'll book an appt just in case they're busy. Update 3 weeks later: I finally had to get a fill (back home, so I sadly couldn't go to Eden for this) and although they were a bit grown out, there was no lifting, no breakage, and no chipping despite the nails being so long AND me using my hands constantly for work. I am so happy and would 100% visit Eden Nails again the next time I'm in PDX! 100/10 :-) read more

I love this little shop. I've been here a couple of times for pedicures with my mom and daughter, and they do a fantastic job, and everyone is so sweet. They gave us lychee candy on the way out and I mentioned they were my mom's favorite and they gave her two handfuls. This is my go to spot now. read more

I went in for an acrylic fill with gel color and topcoat for my 1" coffin nails in baby pink. I originally selected the wrong color to match my toes and I was given a different color that was a better match. The man that did my acrylic was very precise and methodical. All the nails look very even in size and shape. They play gentle instrumental music which I'm fond of due to the fact that I am not a big talker during services. At last, I'm back lounging in their comfy Massage chair getting my long overdue pedicure! I most look forward to the massage chairs and Hot towels! Pic says it all. Their Eden package is a must, sip on cup of hot tea, and I'm dozing off to the tranquil spa music. Mostly, I'm here to Relax. And I'm happy to see both the owners greet me with a smile. Although the gentleman offered a different base color I opt out and stuck with my sparkle only. Gotta give my toes a little shine after neglecting them for months. I prefer the spa-ocean-scenes playing on the screen vs autumn-winter but that's just my preference. And tips for future guests, check the prices first as I think the menu has changed.. My husband & I were in need of a mani/pedi while visiting in Portland. This salon was close to my friend's house and had 4+ reviews, so gave it a try. My husband's finger cuticle was cut and abraided and bled. Accidents happen; the female manicurist was most apologetic and treated it. My experience left me with a slightly cut toe cuticle & other raggedly trimmed cuticles. The male manicurist poorly polished my toes. He did not polish the entire nail - leaving some margins at the nail base that looked like 'grow out', polish didn't cover all side margins while other cuticle margins were slightly painted over onto the toe skin. Sadly I didn't see/take note of all this at the shop. I decided to return the next day when they opened to show them what I saw and politely ask for a re-polish. When I walked into the shop today, I greeted the man and I nicely 'apologized' for having to come back and let him know my concern. The man was unhappy (to say the least) and responded to me quite rudely. I let him know I didn't appreciate being talked to like that. I also told him I appreciated the appointment yesterday and reminded him I tipped well and was asking about a polish repair. The woman intervened and offered to take care of me. The man disappeared into the back room. There was more, but suffice it to say I will not be back. And, this is not a salon I will recommend to my Portland friends. read more

Went to Eden after having a not stellar experience at a different parlor, and am so happy I had Eden redo my nails!!! Great shape, beautiful polish, great attention to detail, and very friendly staff. Peter did a wonderful job. And SUPER reasonable prices ($50 for a full set of acrylics). I went to Eden Nails to try out a new salon and was definitely disappointed. I asked for a basic design on short almond shaped acrylics, and was way overcharged for them. The nails didn't quite match my reference photo as well; the nude base color wasn't applied and you can see my entire natural nails under the acrylic. The lines as well are uneven, and you can see the first layer of the french tip extending past the other layer. All these considered I wouldn't be that upset but I was charged $90 for this set!!!! I have had much more intricate/long nails for far less. do not recommend unfortunately!!! read more

Got my nails done here and many reasons for why I will never return nor recommend this place. 1. I was very clear with what I wanted acrylic white almond shaped nails and square shaped white toes. Nails and toes had to be refilled and reshaped when I got home the man who did my nails and toes also CUT ME TWICE! When I mentioned this to him he didn't comprehend what I was saying as if I didn't just see you cut me as I'm actively bleeding then proceeding to DIP THE BRUSH WITH MY BLOOD BACK INTO THE POWDER!!! 2. He appeared to be coughing quite a lot maybe sick but in an industry where you are constantly touching people's hands and feet he did not wear a mask and continue to cough all over my toes and nails. If you're SICK PLEASE DO NOT PROCEED TO COME TO WORK! I work in healthcare and this is how viral airborne infections occur!! 3. The pedicure tubs were NOT ONCE DISINFECTED. They will put your feet in the tub and have others come in and do the same. No liners at all. If they were to really disinfect and clean that's one thing but to just drain the water and leave as is and have another women sit in the same chair I was in NOT OKAY!! Also when using the acrylic powder on my feet and nails he did not use a CLEAN BRUSH! 4. Nails fell off 2 days after $135.00 down the drain!! WAY TOO OVER PRICED AND THE QUALITY OF SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!! I still made payment as a service was provided however never again will I ever return to this establishment! 5. The man RUSHED the whole process and it showed! Streaks of white were shown, uneven strokes, and no attention to detail not fully covering the nails. AGAIN I DID NOT HAVE ANY DESIGNS OR ANYTHING THAT MAY WOULD BE DIFFICULT!! There are many more reasons to add on but I'd like to just highlight the important ones. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE FOR A CRAP JOB AND WHERE YOU WILL GET CUT THIS IS A NON STERILIZED ENVIRONMENT!!!! I'm not sure how they ever got licensed however so MANY HEALTH VIOLATIONS alone they MUST be SHUT DOWN! read more

Run by two sisters and one of the sisters husband. Coffee/soda/champagne is offered free when you get your nails done here. The sisters are super sweet and really take care if you. My nail looked great too so really a win situation. read more

I went to Eden Nails on a whim because they're open on Sunday's and that was the only day I could go, and I am SO GLAD I did!!!! I'm never going to another nail salon again!! I always see Peter, and show him photos of what I'd like and he is always game, and my nails are ALWAYS amazing!!! I have never had a bad experience, I can't recommend them enough!!!!!! Parking: Decent, there are some spots for the salon specifically! On the side of the building there is a very small lot that can fit about 5 cars; otherwise there's street parking! Ambiance: Super relaxing and very cute!!! I love the decor and they always have really calming music playing Employees: 200/10, super nice and friendly! They are happy to chat with you, or just enjoy the soft music and calmness. I enjoy their company! Cost: I do acrylics with special designs on 2-3 nails per hand (4-6 total) and it costs me around $60/$65/$70 Extras: Rewards!!!! After 9 visits you can receive a FREE pedicure! We love Peter and Mai! They fit us in on a last minute appt on a day that all the other salons were closed and we have not gone anywhere since. Their prices are great, our finger nails are great and they treat us like family! Today I let Peter do the design and think think these are my favorite yet! We were used to paying up to $75 for nail art so when you see a higher quality at a substantially lower price plus the kindness they show, how could you go anywhere else?? Plus! I live in San Diego so didn't have a nail place in Portland. After this encounter I decided to come back. I got a Gel Builder manicure. I had never heard of it before. They explained that you don't have the gel removed each time you can just have it filled in. They don't have to soak in acetone. They file away the color when you come to get the fill done. I loved it and the color was perfect. I would highly recommend that type of service and this place.

Today I went in for a full set builder gel and it was the absolute worst technique I could imagine, she applied giant globs of gel at the base spilling all over the edges my nails were fat and lumpy and uneven and then barely any at the tips and I kept telling her this is not proper technique she should be applying an even layer all the way down and she said she would file it later. I kept insisting she stop doing that but she didn't listen. She CURED THEM with giant globs then filed them and I was like you don't see the globs? There not even! They're lumpy. This is the epitome of what every video online wil l tell you NOT to do! I had to teach her proper technique that she should be applying an even layer. My nails looked horribly and she basically had to file off ALL of the builder gel and then go over it with regular gel. To finally make them look normal. The sides are still fat and lumpy. I had to file them myself when I left. I was planning on coming here to get my nails done for my wedding in a few weeks but unfortunately the skill level at this salon with builder gel is very alarming. I wanted to stop her but the gel was on at that point. I'm flying to LA tomorrow and will have them fix it. I'm not trying to be mean but the management needs to teach proper technique. It was low effort and they should take better care of having higher quality skill. Please watch a video online or tik tok of how to apply builder gel if you go here and then compare the technique they are using you will see it is not industry standard. The place is beautiful and I really wish I had a better experience because my first one was wonderful. But the results have been too inconsistent each time

Like I said Buyer Beware! I wouldn't give them 1 star it's just I'm forced to. Do a better job! Nails shouldn't pop after 7 days. Don't be askin customers for cash you look corrupt and buy a ventilation system before you make the customers sick and the inspectors shut you down for violations like improper ventilation.
