Be prepared.... Most of the time this place is pretty disorganized. But if you are a shopper and love the hunt, you'll enjoy shopping here. They do have a good selection of just about anything you could possibly looking for. They have lotions, decor, furniture, food,books, bedding, you name it. It's like a mini department store without the departments. Also be aware that some stuff they sell is very high quality while other things they sell are cheap cheap cheap. read more

For a big discount clothing store, this one is *really* great. I would definitely prefer to shop here as opposed to the Ross int he next town over. The biggest pro for me is the checkout line. There is an organized line (similar to Old Navy), and the check stand lets you know when the checker is ready. There were more than enough cashiers when I went. I was in a very long line, but within five minutes, I was able to check out. I really like how they organize the front of the store that way. I also like the layout of the store. Things were relatively easy to find, and it made me want to buy more! The dressing rooms were well-lit, and there were enough of them. They were also clean and had an associate there waiting to help. read more

I kind of like this store. As a guy, I'm always aware of the selections in the men's department. This store seems to have a pretty decent selection compared to similar stores. Their variety of home decor and necessities is also a plus. I do much prefer this place to the Ross down the road. There's no comparison. I've popped in here several times and will continue to do so. read more

I would have given them a 5 star rating, but my friend and I just went here and found a cute pair of shoes, the heel had some dents in it that were rather noticeable so we asked the cashier for a 10% discount, at 1st she just flat out said no, then once I started questioning her on it so she turned and asked the manager and he without even looking at them said no. So I brought up that they are selling damaged products and the other cashier piped in and said "oh they came that way and looks like someone painted black on them. Whenever a product gets dented here there's always a white mark on it"... Well Im sorry, but how is it that everything would have a white mark??? It wouldn't!! If she wasn't sure of what she was talking about, she should probably just stop talking because she made herself sound dumb and uneducated on store policies! Unprofessional! read more

Like I say...jewelry and handbags always fit. This place has some of the best around. Leather bag for $20...and it wasn't made in China?! I am on it!! Found some gorgeous stretch leather boots...I'm ashamed to say it...for $19. I felt like I robbed the placed. Then I found a Michael Kors jacket for under $40...by now I almost need to lie down and have a cigarette (and I dont even smoke). Yeah me and TJ are gonna be tight for along time. read more

The selection of clothes and items are fine, but there is a definite problem with the store's management. I'm not sure if it's the assistant or main manager, but one young woman there in particular is always intimidating the customers. She will pass by while you're shopping in a very cocky manner for unknown reasons, and she'll do this often. It doesn't matter if I'm shopping for jewelry or shoes or baby clothes -- she's there. This happened many times on different shopping occasions so it's not just my imagination. There was even one time when she purposely passed by and talked in a loud voice to another coworker to keep an eye out on some customer. I'm not sure if she wants to show off her "managerial powers" or just wants to intimidate customers for fun, but I am no longer going to this TJ Maxx thanks to these incidents. TJ Maxx in Morgan Hill just plain sucks!~ Let's be REAL. 1. The clothes are cheap, did I say, CHEAP! ie: buttons fall off, seams break, shrinks, fade. 2. The clothes are ugly as sin. Catering to tiny, teeny boppers. Where is the fashionista fashionable style? Not here! Where are the name brands? 3. Store is dirty and disorganized! 4. Shoes are cheap as well. When you buy something at say "Macy's" you expect to be able to return it to a "Macy's" anywhere right? WRONG! Not with T.J. Max! I tried to get a refund for something I bought at the Almaden store and they refused me saying they don't refund "home goods" at their store. I don't know who thought up this policy and why but its just simply NOT OK. Where is this stated in their refund policy for the customer to see? I had to drive all the way into San Jose to return my item. I didn't appreciate this one bit. Although I love T.J. Max, they just lost a customer because of this ridiculous policy. If they as a department store can't give a customer a refund for something from another store they don't deserve to be in business. Seriously T.J. Maxx FIX IT! read more

I shopped here often but no longer. Did you know that if you have a defective product they will not return your money or even give you a store credit without the ticket or the receipt? I bought a step stool there and had it long enough that I threw out the receipt. The ticket was one of those glue on types so I had removed that as well. The step stool started to break apart as I was standing on it! They refused to do anything. If I ever shop here again I'll keep every receipt and ticket I have for at least a year. Beware! read more

Extremely personable and upbeat service! Everything is very neatly organized, too. There aren't any "better" brands that are usually displayed in the front such as Splendid, Vince, Tahari. Great spot to buy dress shoes, bags, kitchen/home goods and kid stuff (from sippy cups to socks to cheap toys). I have found some treasures here. Lots of name brand items. There is a fairly good jewelry counter too - especially for sterling silver pieces. Nice that we have TJ Maxx in MH. Located within the Nob Hill plaza close to the Mexican restaurant. The store is on the smaller side compared to other TJ Maxx but good enough for a smaller town. Lots of great finds in this store as long as you're patient to go through racks after racks of many designer clothes priced very well. They also have a jewelry dept and home collections. The shoes they carry are out of their boxes and whatever is out is all they have. If you find something u really like...buy it. Guaranteed it may not be there if u wait specially if it's a hot item. read more

Terrible customer service plain and simple. I bought a pair of slippers for my husband and they ended up being too small so I went to return them. I had misplaced my receipt so I understood upon return I would get a store credit as per policy. When I showed up with the slippers to return them they claimed the slippers were not in their system even though the exact same pair was sitting on their table. I brought those slippers to show them and they said the system would not return them either which quite frankly makes no sense, how can they sell a product that is nonreturnable in their system even though the product was not final sale. The experience was terrible and the sales clerk was very RUDE and treated me like I was incompetent. Long story short as long as that women is working at the store I will sadly not be returning. read more

Let me start off by saying. I am an employee of another TJX companies store in the area. I went into this store today to make a purchase, I went to the register where Moira was. She rang me up and I handed her my associate card for my 10% off. I hadn't realized it had expired. No other store in the company checks and this store doesn't usually. I was told it expired and I said ok I won't make the purchase today. I made the comment that if I wasn't an active employee it wouldn't go through anyways, as I was walking away I heard her mumble and mock me. I find this extremely rude and unprofessional. I called and spoke to the manager who had a very flippant attitude and didn't seem to think her behavior as wrong. I will never shop this store again discount or not. I am appalled at the rudeness of the associate, Moira and the manager, Paul for thinking rudeness is ok read more

Love it! If you come here weekly, like us locals with no life, then you will find great deals. I started off with finding some nice Hollister and Abercrombie jeans at around only $25-- but beware, my Abercrombie jeans ripped at the knees. They have a good selection of Free People if you really search. They recently got in some designer denim ($80 Seven for All Mankind? too bad I'm not a size 0!) and I snagged a $70 pair of Joe's jeans (from $160!) Basically I'm totally broke from going to TJ Maxx too much, but it always cheers me up. Plus, you can get a Jamba Juice or Starbucks after an exhausting day of shopping! read more

I am giving it 1 star because I just cannot shop in this store anymore. They have a new "system" that just denies returns with our receipts , even if the item was not used and all the tags are attached, without giving you a reason for denying the return. Yes, I know we all should have receipts for our returns but many of us to shop a lot and do loose our receipts occasionally. It's been made so convenient in other stores - you either get store credit or they can look it up by your credit card. I just went to the Tjmaxx with my friend ( well, actually I waited outside ) as she tried to return an item ( it was a larger size item ) and came out frustrated that it was not accepted without any explanations, after they checked the box inside and all the Tjmaxx labels were there as well. Holiday season is here and we will all have to shop a lot , and i know I will not be able to keep up with all those receipts clutter so for me shopping in Tjmaxx is not an option at all. read more
