Oh boy, where to start.... I visited SEVERAL other t mobile stores a whopping total of 4 times in 3 days JUST to upgrade a line and add another ....i thought reps enjoyed the commission but shocker.... most humans are incompetent. The first one i went to in Azusa, "couldn't" activate it and "forgot" to take our trade in. Finally, the kinks were smoothed out and get this, after waiting 3 hours, 1 of 2 lines were activated, things are looking like they're almost wrapped up ... and dude straight up just stops and said he would get in trouble for not taking his lunch and asked us to come back tomorrow???? Omg, i thought he was joking... eventually i found out he wasn't and i came back tomorrow... second visit...i had to bring back the trade in phone that he forgot to put in the system, but then later that Night we discover that the transfer of data didn't download onto the new phone so we had to send everything manually which took hours. He said i couldn't trade in after the transaction, So i left AGAIN with no new phone. Now I'm under the impression i have to stay with this store in order to redeem my rebate of the b1g1 Note 8 since the first line that he half assed activated was with him, but i found out that it didn't matter, as long as it was purchased during the promo time.. the third visit i randomly pass a DIFFERENT t mobile store and tell them all my drama and sympathetically, they can't believe the shenanigans either... they assure me they'll take care of things and continue where everything was left off.... we wait about an hour thinking we're getting rung up, and then he asks me for SHIPPING INFORMATION.... like www...ttt.....fff..... the whole time they didn't even have the phone in stock, and lead us on the whole time. I left since i didn't want to wait another week for shipping. Ffinnaalllyyy..... i get in touch this t mobile, and talk to David the manager, Andrew a sales rep, and coung(?) Another sales rep, and kurt who answered the phone initially....And as they're getting kicks off my story, they were multitasking ever so efficiently and transferring my phones, ringing me up, sending all my rebate forms, taking the trade in, got free Netflix added etc. I really enjoyed the positive energy and team unity here, it seems like every time that obstacles arise, they're supporting each other to do things carefully but quickly. Being in here was a breeze and i got in and out really fast even though everything was done thoroughly. They were so fun that waiting didn't even feel like waiting. When i drive by most days, i notice its really busy, and sometimes that can be deterring, but honestly, as soon as i came in they started assessing my situation and started doing my phone transfer (which takes like half and hour) in the mean time so that when it was my turn to pay, i could finish on time. Major points for time management, customer service, team spirit, and being thorough with side aspects such as rebates, phone cloning, optimal discounts etc. I Highly recommend this place!! read more

This place is suppose to an authorized store but they really don't know there own policy so I would double check anything these idiots say here. I recently brought in a cellspot router to return, and the directions clearly stated I can mail it back or take it to an authorized store. Since this store was close by , I decided to see if I can drop it off first. As soon as the employees here saw me walking toward the store , they all had this clueless look on their faces, and when I walked in , they said I had to mail it back. Since they were clueless and I didn't want them to steal my cellspot router , I didn't argue and went to ups to drop off. See below for the instructions T-Mobile sent me for the return. not sure whats up with the bad reviews, but i have come here multiple times and always got a decent service. the guys working here are nice people. they don't try to scam you or anything. the only negative feedback to this place is that, sometimes it might take a while to get things done due to the long line. especially if you only need a quick service such as payment or getting a prepaid plan, these do not take more than 15 minutes. but sometimes you gotta wait for people who are purchasing data plans and phones, that might take quite a while. I was here last weekend, waited for 45 minutes to get to my turn. (that's after somebody in front of me left). I only needed a prepaid plan, it took 20 minutes for them to set it up. (that's also after a few errors caused by t-mobile system, not employee errors). ended up taking 1 hour, could have been a 20 minutes visit only. read more

Had the absolute worst experience here today. Unprofessional, unnecessarily difficult, and plain insulting. Went for a deal where I trade in my iPhone6 for a 7. The guy (Hao) that helped my fiancé and I took a look at both our phones and only approved my fiancé's. We wrapped up the deal for my fiancé and left. I then went to ubreakifix in Pasadena to fix the small corner chip of my phone that disqualified it for the upgrade. Spent $114 for a new glass (pure cosmetic surgery--- everything about my phone works perfectly). I trust the ubbreakifix company because my friend is a manager of the store in Columbus Ohio and tells me even carriers send their phones to them to fix and resell. After 3 hours and with my fixed phone, I went back to T-Mobile. I requested the same guy because I felt comfortable working with someone I've met just hours ago. WRONG DECISION!!!!!! He takes one look at my phone and says it's not going to pass inspection. Stunned, I asked why. He said the glass is protruding too much. For the next 10 mins I keep asking why, after fixing the tiny cosmetic damage, I can't trade in my phone. He gave me all sorts of reasons ranging from "you just ruined your phone! They only take original apple parts." "Feel the side of the glass, it's too tall... it's not normal, you'll be forced to pay the full amount and lose the phone forever--- they'd take pictures and send it to you explaining why your phone was disqualified" "did you ask for apple glass" This last one had my eyebrows up so high. Are you trying to make my life miserable?!?!? I go to a reputable store that YOUR store sends phones to be fixed, and you blame me for not asking for apple glass. I sure did NOT ask for samsung glass. As I was trying to convince Hao that the phone is intact with reasonable wear and tear... his manager comes over FINALLY to ask "is there a problem". We show him my phone and the manager says "as long as she didn't fix it herself and took the phone to be fixed, it's good." Oh BTW, everything above that Hao said was a lie when I later chatted with my ubreakifix manager friend. And it revealed how much Hao did not know about the trade in process and what they look for in the phones and how the phones actually work inside and out. Which was confirmed also by the Pasadena ubreakifix and t mobile manager. And with that I got my deal. I received no apology or any remorse of how I was treated. As he was ringing me up he asked if my info was the same as my "......." I supplied "fiancé". He made a snarky comment how that's too bad that my fiancé is soon to be "tied down". "It's HIS bad" Inside I'm like EXCUSE ME? My fiancé and I have been together for 8 years, not that it's any of your business. I spent way too many hours trying to get this deal so I kept silent and tried to get out of there as fast as possible. I will NEVER come back to this T-Mobile. You need to work on your customer service. This is the longest review I've ever written. This location being in a Chinese community, so of course they will hire Chinese speaking staff. It's a hit or miss, but majority of the time the staff are rude and I suspect some of them being Asian gangsters. If not, they sure act like it. Also several of my older Asian relatives have been there as well speaking poor English and they treat them really bad even though the staff speaks Chinese. They treat their own people poorly. Is this how the communist Chinese people treat each other like this with no respect. It's a pity! I wish yelp gave the "no stars" option. I HATE having to give this place even one star. My brother in law walked in to see if he qualified to make payments to get a new phone. An Asian girl I think her name was (Tao) was clueless and seemed more lost than us on what it is we were asking for. (It was pretty common sense) do we qualify or not? She ends up giving us new SIM cards, charged a service fee for activating lines (non refundable) she was eagerly activating auto pay to keep lines we never even asked for, changed my brother in law's phone number but NO PHONE. Who does that? The two associates kept going to the "back" to speak to the manager when we kept asking what it is they were doing and when we asked for the manager so we can speak to him/her, the manager never showed. Completely unsatisfied, amazed at how clueless people can be. I work in sales and I am disgusted to see this type of service being given to customers. This place should be closed down!!!! read more

Besides taking a long time to respond, the crews there were clueless about the bill and insisted to let me pay the full amount. And when the next bill came in, it appeared that I over paid, and got refunded. I have no issue with t-mobile but the staff at that location are unprofessional. read more

This 5-star outstanding review is for Alex Medina, who went above and beyond any and all expectations I had for a T-Mobile representative. He was so personable, exchanging stories with me and the 2 hours I spent there flew by as he masterfully navigated the systems to get me the best possible deal on my new iPhone 6s. He patiently listened to all my requests, and promptly carried all of them through, and even got me extra credits on my account. I had considered cancelling my T-Mobile service, but he and the amazing customer service I receive from T-Mobile are the reason I stay--they really make me feel like a valued customer and will do what it takes the remedy a sour situation. Sure, this location does get rather busy, but they have about 6-8 representatives at a given time, doing the best they can for each client that walks through their doors. You may have to wait a little, but put yourself in their shoes-- they are giving their 100% attention to each guest and sometimes it just takes awhile to reach customer care. I had a great experience here and cannot recommend Alex more highly. Ps. They have a promotion for Kate Spade's (black) wristlet/wallet plus iPhone 6/6s case going on right now! Needed a new phone. Went to this T-Mobile store and asked for one. Was told that I was required to upgrade my grandfathered plan to their new plan. Fine, but only if I can get the phone. They ended up upgrading the plan without my explicit permission and before telling me how much the new monthly balance would be, even though I asked for it at least 3 times. Then I was told there was an error with my account and there was no way I can buy the phone from the store. Took two visits and waiting around in the store for 4-5 hours just to find out, at the last minute, that the error was with their own computer system, not with my account. All this time, no apologies were offered. If I had to describe the customer service experience in three words, they would be: smug, incompetent, and unapologetic. Krista, one of the reps, is cool though. I just returned from the T-Mobile in Monterey Park and got everything I needed in less than an hour, hassle-free. They even waived the tax off of the new phone (HTC One M8) and tossed in a free Bluetooth Key Finder device (HTC Fetch) as some part of some offer that just started today. I went to pay my monthly bill here and they charged me $60 service. I went home to discover my phone never turned on or worked, and when i came back to ask why they refused my refund. They stole $60 from me by PRETENDING to pay my monthly bill for me!!! This place is a scam. This review is for the guy with the spiky orange hair. I went in to buy a new phone and - aware of the Jump program they offer - I wanted to decline the insurance. He told me that it necessary and I am obligated to have the insurance for two months. I asked him again: Is this absolutely necessary?? He said yes. So knowing this guy wasn't going to let up about the program, I decided not to get mad and just cancel the service at another time. They told me I DID NOT need this AT ANY TIME not even if I had not made the first Equipment Installment payment. Don't be fooled by these guys who just want to rip you off for commission. In fact, if the manager is reading this review, I suggest you revoke the extra amount of commission he "earned" for the sale, because I just got the charge credited back to me. I usually go to the T Mobile store on Valley and new avenue but being that it was extremely filled and lines were out the front door I went to this T Mobile instead. I didn't really have high hopes for this place but I was very wrong. Their employee Andrew C. was one of the best employees I have ever met. He helps me on everything that I needed for my new Google Nexus 6 P. I am extremely satisfied with my experience and I will definitely be coming back. this is the first time that a tmobile worker has helped me for this long. I literally talked with and you for over an hour in which he was just explaining different features of myphone to me and helping me do everything from moving my contacts and Sims 2 explaining how to use the Android version of Siri. Point being this was one of the best customer service experiences that I have ever had I will be considering changing stores because of this. Phone store is really personalize your customer experience let alone spend a whole hour helping you on the things you need. Even when other people we're waiting and you was good enough to multitask and help me the same time he's helping other people. Compared to other tmobile stores, this one is hands down better just because they don't have these terrible bundle nonsense for the iphone 6s plus like the other stores! When you come here, you don't need to buy an additional $70 worth of accessories like the East LA location. This manager is super chill. Anyways, service is reasonably quick. They have Spanish and Chinese speakers. Ample parking in the rear. I suggest you call ahead if you too want to buy the new phone. Like t-mobile these guys are no nonsense. read more

I've been coming to this store ever since it opened up almost a year ago, and I keep coming back. Johnny and Wilson are both very helpful in answering my questions and making sure I got exactly what I needed. Whether it was adding a new line, to finding the exact phone I'm looking for, to applying a screen protector on my newly purchased device. I could not ask for better service. It gets pretty busy on some days, and there is a sign-in sheet, but it's worth the wait. Johnny helped me out last year with my HTC One M8 and again with my brother's LG G2. This year, Wilson helped my cousin with another HTC One M8 and an iPhone 5s for my sister. Recently, I upgraded my HTC One to a Galaxy S6 edge with Johnny's help and I will keep coming back read more

I can't believe I'm writing a Yelp review for a T-Mobile store, but this store is so bad and other people need to know. GO TO A DIFFERENT T-MOBILE STORE!!! Save your time. Two days ago, I went to a different T-Mobile store in West LA and switched from ATT to T-Mobile. I paid for 4 lines for $25 per SIM card, and the store representative said that my brother who will have 1 of the 4 lines can just go to any T-Mobile stores and get a SIM card to have his number ported. This store representative made sure to add my brother as an authorized person of our account. So my brother went to this store in Alhambra (big mistake). Store representative that he has to pay an extra $25 per SIM because that's how it works. Brother called me so I called the store in West LA, and the West LA store confirmed that my brother should be able to get the SIM card replacements for free since I paid for them already and he suggested that we call T-Mobile's Customer Care if the representative of this store in Alhambra is being difficult. My brother and I both called T-Mobile's Customer Care separately and we both got confirmations that we shouldn't have to pay again. Even after this, this T-Mobile store in Alhambra refused to give my brother the SIM card, and even insisted that I should be at that store as the account owner... T-Mobile's Customer Care already confirmed that my brother was listed as an authorized person of the account and it is also evidenced by the fact that Customer Care talked to him. That incompetent representative could easily just call T-Mobile's Customer Care himself but he didn't... Either this T-Mobile store representative is seriously incompetent or just wants to squeeze out more money. They wasted enough of my time and my brother's... don't waste yours! Terrible service!!! People are waiting more than an hour just for someone to assist them including myself. You Manager didn't do anything about it. I did not install the charger right away after we stard using the pat we noticed the phone was not charging ,I went back to the store for a exchange and was told I need to come back within two weeks I am out of look $65.69 gone also contacted costumer services the same out off look story .The sales person make you feel you are BOTHERING them The salesmen made the mistake and should exchange the product with out time limit ,I also found the store Manager Asian very impolite and arrogant, to a retired 82 year person on limited income. read more
