I have never being lied this bad ever like from David who is the Store Manager at Town Lakes location. I came to the store to switch to T-Mobile from AT&T on December 13. I secured my account and completed my credit check and I was promised my cellphones to be delivered to the store on or before December 23 "no problem, count on me"It turns out that they never found the phones, and now I am here on Christmas Day empty handed with no gifts for the family. David didn't even had the decency to give me a heads up call , very irresponsible, and out of touch for a company that prides itself of good customer service. Very frustrating.

Just go somewhere else and avoid these unwelcoming, unhelpful lazy staff. This used to be my favorite branch but not anymore.

Worse customer service I've ever experienced. The employee told me I could only purchase a phone if I bought a case and screen protector.

WOW. I've been in some shady freaking places…read more But this place? They treat fraud as if it were an Olympic sport and they the gold record holder. Sam was the Indian "gentleman" who "assisted me. Today I went to this Verizon store to switch to phone lines from AT&T to them and get a couple of new iPhones. Which I strongly recommend to everyone else out there not to do. I mean I hear Verizon is great, but ya surely don't wanna go with these ass clowns. The guy told me up front "the only thing you'll have to pay today is the sales tax for the phones." Then again, when he was asking for my card, he told me "the only thing I'm going to charge you for today is the sales tax." Then he made a Big Show of putting everything in these nice bags for me to take with me. So, on the drive home it hits me: the number is off. On the sales tax, the number is off. Sam was very clear that he was only charging me the sales tax on to iPhone 17 pro maxes which were $1210 each. At 8.25% but it should be a couple hundred dollars. But he just charged my card for $286. I guess he thought since I'm white and my wife is Spanish that we couldn't do math. So when I get home, I pull out the itemized print out receipt that this fool actually gave me a print out of and let me walk out with (after I had paid, which is how you can tell a Real professional thief versus a petty amateur. These f-ers do this every day) showing that he had just charged me $40 per phone for "Pro Setup." There's a couple of kickers that make this fraud even more extreme. For one thing, dude Actually charged me TAX on the $80 he was stealing from me! That's how it got to $286.26; Tax on $2420 should have been $199.65. It's also ironic that he was charging me the made-up $80 for "pro set up." This crook just activated the phones with our numbers and said, "Here you are sir and ma'am. I still have not been able to fully get either one fully set up. Check out the bottom of the first charge. It goes: Subtotal: $80 Tx State tax 2%. $50 Tx State Tax 6.25%. $156.26 Financed: $2,420 ----------------------------- Total: $286.26 Hmmmmmm..... something seems weird about that configuration. I didn't finance anything that's weird. Why does it show financed 2420? I mean, that's the exact amount that I was financing. But it doesn't belong there. Is it intentionally confusing on purpose ya think? Like, most of that shit doesn't even need to be on there. I was wondering how some kid worked in a cell phone store drove a Tesla model X. And finally, at the bottom of that first page it says "Today You Saved $60.00" Really? Did I? So, yeah, nobody should probably shop here. This place has the receipt set up the way they do so that they can put whatever numbers they want in there, charge you whatever they want to charge you, and pay taxes on whatever they want to pay taxes on. I'd Heat for the Texas comptroller's office to get wind of this. Karen is really uptight about this sort of thing...

Evidently, I am the antithesis of most of the earlier reviewers. My experience was quite…read morefavorable. I wanted a full featured, unlocked, smart phone but I couldn't afford a new one. Cell 4 Less had a used one for sale that they advertised on Craig's List for significantly less than I would have had to pay on eBay. James was the contact on the ad and he was very patient with me. He described the phone and even got some information from the phone's memory for me. He assured me that it wasn't blacklisted but then he even gave me the IMEI # so I could verify it myself. (Which I did, on the carrier's blacklist and on several others.) Additionally, James agreed to hold the phone for me for about 4 hours. Very unusual and very much appreciated. When I arrived it was similar to other cell phone shops that I have visited. They evidently work with a lot of carriers and had a decent selection of phones. It is a fairly modest enterprise. Brandon greeted me and explained that James wasn't there. However, Brandon was just as helpful as James. He went out of his way to reassure me that the phone wasn't stolen, lost or still under contract. I requested that he show me the IMEI on both the battery case and on the phone settings as well as check the moisture sensors with me. Everything checked out. He even offered me an Otter case at a much lower price than a box store and threw in a car charger to boot. All in all a great deal and a good experience. Another thing, Brandon made it clear that there was no rush and that he would answer any of my questions. Being my first smart phone, this was particularly kind. The only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars was because it took them 2 more days to get the unlock code for me. But they did get it and the phone appears to work superbly with aio Cellular. Bottom line, they kept their deal, the phone was as described and there don't appear to be any problems. At all. One peculiar thing did happen while I was there. A lady wanted to return a phone that she purchased because it (supposedly) didn't work. The sales rep that talked with her was very patient and checked the phone over and it apparently worked fine. She complained that it didn't work with her carrier's sim card but, get this, she didn't bring the sim card in. He assured her that had she brought the sim card with her he could have straightened out the problem. She just kept complaining that it didn't work. I'm not sure how it was resolved. However, these guys are not a major supplier so eating the price of a phone is surely unpalatable. I am sure that they would have made things right if there was a problem. But the phone worked! Sorry to have gone on so long but it irritates me when a store gets bad reviews and deserves some good ones. Those other reviewers may have had problems but I did not.

Do not go here. SERIOUSLY!…read more The two guys there are running a racket. They get you into the store to replace a screen and then ask you to sign a repair agreement that is 100% blurred and not legible. DO NOT SIGN IT. It states that when they repair your screen they *could* potentially crack your LCD, and without your permission they're going to repair it and then charge you for it. I refused to sign it. They tried to explain to me how no matter what they were going to crack the LCD, and just buy the combo package. I refused again and the guy wanted to know why I didn't want the combo. My LCD works fine. I didn't need to replace it. The glass is cracked. They are getting people into the store and trying to scare potential and unsuspecting customers. I went to a place off Fondren and my phone was repaired just fine.

He told us that their printer wasn't working so he couldn't give us a printed receipt. After getting home, I checked the PDF receipt online only to find out that Diego had added a USB-C charging block without telling us, and he didn't give it to us either. We went back to the store and there was no apology. He pretended like he forgot to give it to us and said that the system automatically adds the charger block to the order. That was a blatant lie. Also, when processing the return, I noticed he had a printout of the receipt in his hand. Oh, so the printer works now, huh? We tried to get a refund to the credit card but they said it wasn't giving them that option and that they could only do a bill credit. Another guy who I think was the person in charge at the time processed it, and I was able to confirm later that night that the credit went through, but the tax hadn't been refunded. Went online and messaged T-Force (T-Mobile's higher tier online support) on FB Messenger where they confirmed that the system does NOT automatically add accessories to an order like Diego had explained. They also said that they could not see anything on their end that would have prevented the refund to the credit card, unless it was a local issue. My guess is that they wanted to do a "courtesy credit" instead so that they can keep the accessory sales commission. The T-Force rep refunded the tax for us and I was also able to get them to waive the $35 DCC fee too considering the bad in-store experience we had. Be very careful at this location and make sure to check your receipts to confirm that they did not add anything you didn't ask for. It's likely all the employees at the store use these tactics to trick unsuspecting customers since the manager-like guy seemed to be in on it.
