Walked in and walked out with a new iPhone activated in maybe 20 minutes. No issues and pleasant staff.

WOW. I've been in some shady freaking places…read more But this place? They treat fraud as if it were an Olympic sport and they the gold record holder. Sam was the Indian "gentleman" who "assisted me. Today I went to this Verizon store to switch to phone lines from AT&T to them and get a couple of new iPhones. Which I strongly recommend to everyone else out there not to do. I mean I hear Verizon is great, but ya surely don't wanna go with these ass clowns. The guy told me up front "the only thing you'll have to pay today is the sales tax for the phones." Then again, when he was asking for my card, he told me "the only thing I'm going to charge you for today is the sales tax." Then he made a Big Show of putting everything in these nice bags for me to take with me. So, on the drive home it hits me: the number is off. On the sales tax, the number is off. Sam was very clear that he was only charging me the sales tax on to iPhone 17 pro maxes which were $1210 each. At 8.25% but it should be a couple hundred dollars. But he just charged my card for $286. I guess he thought since I'm white and my wife is Spanish that we couldn't do math. So when I get home, I pull out the itemized print out receipt that this fool actually gave me a print out of and let me walk out with (after I had paid, which is how you can tell a Real professional thief versus a petty amateur. These f-ers do this every day) showing that he had just charged me $40 per phone for "Pro Setup." There's a couple of kickers that make this fraud even more extreme. For one thing, dude Actually charged me TAX on the $80 he was stealing from me! That's how it got to $286.26; Tax on $2420 should have been $199.65. It's also ironic that he was charging me the made-up $80 for "pro set up." This crook just activated the phones with our numbers and said, "Here you are sir and ma'am. I still have not been able to fully get either one fully set up. Check out the bottom of the first charge. It goes: Subtotal: $80 Tx State tax 2%. $50 Tx State Tax 6.25%. $156.26 Financed: $2,420 ----------------------------- Total: $286.26 Hmmmmmm..... something seems weird about that configuration. I didn't finance anything that's weird. Why does it show financed 2420? I mean, that's the exact amount that I was financing. But it doesn't belong there. Is it intentionally confusing on purpose ya think? Like, most of that shit doesn't even need to be on there. I was wondering how some kid worked in a cell phone store drove a Tesla model X. And finally, at the bottom of that first page it says "Today You Saved $60.00" Really? Did I? So, yeah, nobody should probably shop here. This place has the receipt set up the way they do so that they can put whatever numbers they want in there, charge you whatever they want to charge you, and pay taxes on whatever they want to pay taxes on. I'd Heat for the Texas comptroller's office to get wind of this. Karen is really uptight about this sort of thing...

I lost time to service, did not get the offer that was sold to me by the manager, Kat, and now I have no intention of going with AT&T at all after being lied to, judged and treated rudely.

I have been an AT&T customer for years and this was by far the most uncomfortable experience I have…read moreever had at an AT&T store. My family and I visited this location because my 19-year-old brother, who is a U.S. Marine and was home on leave before his deployment, needed to replace his broken phone. Since this was his first time purchasing a phone on his own, he understandably had questions regarding trade-in options. The interaction started off strangely when the sales representative asked for my mother's ID. After briefly looking at it, he immediately handed it back. My mother politely asked, "Do you still need my ID?" and he responded, "I said I needed it for a second, that second has now passed." The comment was unnecessary, bizarre, and immediately made everyone uncomfortable. As we continued discussing the phone, my fiancé simply mentioned that he didn't think a broken phone could be traded in. Out of nowhere, the representative threw his hands up and said, "Is it me, or are y'all extremely aggressive?" We were completely caught off guard. None of us had raised our voices or behaved aggressively. We all looked at each other wondering where that comment had even come from. The interaction left me so uncomfortable that I was literally shaking, and I told my fiancé we should leave and go elsewhere. We drove to the AT&T store at Willowbrook Mall instead, where we had a completely different experience. Caitlyn was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, and manager Miguel was wonderful. They treated us with respect and made the process easy and pleasant. I also called this location afterward to speak with the manager because I genuinely would hate for another family to have this kind of experience. While he wasn't rude, he came across as dismissive and lacked the empathy and professionalism I have come to expect from AT&T. I understand mistakes happen, but I felt my concerns were brushed aside rather than genuinely addressed. Thankfully, the team at Willowbrook restored my faith in AT&T customer service. If you're deciding between locations, I highly recommend the Willowbrook Mall store. Save yourself the stress and go where you'll be treated with kindness and respect.

Today, I called in for assistance and was hung up twice. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. This has been the worst service I have ever had with a cell service. I will not refer my worst enemy to Verizon once my phones are cleared. I will also be posting this on Yelp and any other received site

Then when I approached the associate again trying to see what the ETA was, Chris was rude and seemingly got more and more defensive as the conversation went on, which I thought was so rude. Terrible customer service and did not do anything to de-escalate my feelings of worry at all, but rather, just made me more upset. We finally sat down with someone after waiting an hour...which, mind you, our quoted wait time was 30-45 minutes, but Chris was trying to tell us that our wait time was one hour... Couldn't believe the rude customer service, as I have been with Verizon since day one, when cell phones just became a thing and were new to the scene...I had a brief lapse of judgement when I went with Sprint in college, but reverted right back to Verizon, but I am deeply considering switching carriers after the horrible service and constant issues with dropped calls, etc. Don't go to this location, as you will not be treated with respect here.
