I wouldn't give this place even a 1-star. The customer service here is bad. I don't usually give negative reviews but they straight out hide information just to get you to stay with tmobile. We had gone in to get our sim activated coz of an issue and I kid you not it took them 5 hours on day 1 & we had to go back in the next day again & spend another 2 hours. The manager told us that since we had been with TMobile for 10 years we can get a free phone & free line. It would just use the data plan from our paid lines. We asked if it had any other payments due or contracts & she said 'NO', so obviously we got one. Now I call T-Mobile CS to close my account 10 months later & they tell me that the vendor store lied. The supposedly 'free' phone had a contract & I had to pay for it.. I didn't even ask for one.. The TMobile rep said they can't even do anything about it as they are vendor stores. The manager of the store behaves likes she doesn't know what your talking about inspite of being the one that 'sold' us the extra free line. Don't ever go in there.. bad customer service & the are almost inept in helping you out effectively and obviously hide/and or lie to you and then deny!! read more

Please do not go to this location. As mentioned in previous reviews, I had a second line added to my account without my knowledge/ therefore doubling my bill. Nick, the manager at the time (who has since been fired), and Kiona, the current manager, both provided horrible service. Kiona seemed promising at first trying to fix what Nick did, but after being told to check in with her the following week about removing the second line, she ghosted me, avoided my calls and was always "unavailable". Ended up getting it fixed with the T-Mobile support customer service line after a month of trying to get a hold of her. No accountability. No competence. No action. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a phone company. Had to deal with the manager, Nick, who is both condescending and incompetent. Came in as an existing T-Mobile customer, just needing to have my line added to my fiancé's line. Nick was rude, snarky, and very openly making disrespectful comments about the other customers in the store. Under his breath, he says "f*cking kids* as a pair of teens walked out of the store. The bigger issue was the fact that I was told I could keep my number if I wanted to. I somehow had a 2nd number that was assigned to me when I purchased my brand new phone. Nick told me this would not be an issue, and my old number would be assigned to me shortly. It was a week to the day that I realized it would not be happening and I would have to call customer service to retain my old number. Turns out he added a completely new line of service that I would have been charged for had his careless error not been caught. I would absolutely not return to this location. Absolutely worst service I have ever experienced. Went in to transfer service from another carrier. Both people were very clearly annoyed we were there, were actively rolling their eyes in general and at a quote I got off the T-Mobile sales line. They were both constantly talking at the same time and interrupting both me and my husband. Called T-Mobile sales line back after leaving with no deal-and they confirmed my quote was correct. Hands down the worst customer service I've ever received. Had to go to this location 2 times for the store manager Nick to completely mess up my account that's now taken days to fix. I've never seen such unprofessional behavior in a store. He smelled like alcohol and hung up on a customer service agent when trying to assist me with setting up my phone. Explaining to me they don't know what they're doing and I would have to come back the next day to finish my transaction. I came back the next morning with him not quite remembering who I was. Mind you no smile or warm greeting he looked completely disheveled. Once I helped him remember who I was he did try to help me but then again told me I might have to come back another day to finish the transaction. I was clearly upset at this point and he told me because I came in almost at closing the night before he couldn't help me.. mind you I came in at 4pm on Friday hours before closing. He then somehow finished my transaction, didn't at all help me set up my phone just handed me the box and said I would figure it out. I felt uneasy after so called customer service. So glad i did my phone as not hooked up to the correct phone number and I all the sudden had 3 lines and my bill was $200+ a month when I was told it was $90. Not sure how this person could manage a store at all. While I was at the store another employee answered the phone wanting to speak to the manager and he told the employee to say he wasn't in. I'm usually pretty laid back and accepting but this was over the top and wasted days of my time. I wouldn't ever go here go to a trusted retail location down the street. Went to buy 2 phones. Walked in one person being helped with 2 staff members. I was greeted quickly and the process started. 6 people then walked and the manager told the staff member that was working with me that he had to leave but would be back in 25 minutes. Bad move from manager I think. Anyhow wife got a updated I phone and I got a new android. The man helping was trying his hardest to take care of everyone but people were starting to be upset. I got upset as well when he informed me that we needed to get an additional line in order to save money on our monthly plan. I understand the game this shows growth to your shareholders but really how many people use that additional line and actually have a phone attached to it. My purchases were taking so long that I allowed him to help a customer waiting for a 5 minute fix. 2 customers left while waiting. Anyhow the manager returned and there were still 4 customers waiting to be taken care), so it shows they had stood there for 25 minutes. He quickly started helping and the line moved along. I finally got done left with no phone purchased a line a did not need and my phone will be shipped to me. Felt like I was buying a car which no one likes. Not a fan of this shop. Per FCC if a company doesn't make an attempt to CORRECTLY port your phone to their service within 24 hours, they are breaking FCC rules. Previously Xfinity customer. The T-Mobile agent claimed I needed two temp numbers (1 for my iPhone 11 and 1 for my apple smartwatch 7) in order to start service using e-sim, before he can port in my number to my iPhone. Then, he told me he made a mistake and assigned my phone number to my watch and that my watch never needed a temp number (as I tried to tell him!!) because it's attached to my phone number. He escalated my issue. When escalations got on the phone and tried to help, I lost all cell service, so I drove to T-Mobile store in Mill Creek, WA. T-Mobile store clerk appeared high and was laughing at my situation and just blank stared at me half the time. I asked if she understood what I was saying, and she said "....yes...." And took my phone and randomly started clicking around and swiping. (Literally clicking through all my apps...!!!) I told her it's an e-sim and is it possible to call customer service to "delete" all previously messed up porting and phone number assignment issues so we can just use a regular SIM card for my phone. She didn't do that, but just simply jammed a new sim to my phone. And didn't acknowledge me when I told her she needed to call customer service (since I have no cell service) and get escalated to tier 3. She continued to ignore me until I flat out asked why she refuses and if she knows how to fix it? She admits she can't and I should just buy a new phone. She asked me to buy a new phone THREE different times with no attempt to call T-Mobile customer service. Finally, she (maybe) calls them (I can't guarantee since it seems she got suddenly disconnected at various points and was chitchatting saying things that had nothing to do with my phone.) When she got off phone she said it'll take up to a week for my phone to port to my SIM. At this point my phone was glitching out like crazy thinking the temp phone was still my number. I had to beg a customer to give me address to nearest Xfinity so I can try to salvage and get my phone. I called T-Mobile again while at Xfinity parking lot trying to fix problem 1 last time, but they hung up on me after telling me they'll transfer me to escalations. So, I borrowed an employees phone to call Xfinity again so I can get my T-Mobile account number and transfer pin to hopefully transfer back to Xfinity using Xfinity sim. The T-Mobile rep that did answer this time told us that the T-Mobile store rep assigned my physical SIM to my WATCH!!!! He found a creative solution to give me my temp number back to my phone just so I can get text messages for confirmation pin in order for me to read those pins back to them before they can give me a transfer pin. 24 hours later and my sim still isn't activated w Xfinity but has been escalated to tier 3 issue. My phone number of 14 years and number I am actively using to apply for jobs and hear back from recruiters is now hanging in the ethers. read more

I went in on a Saturday to get a new phone and the manager Abbey brought out the phone I wanted along with an Apple Watch. She said the watch is $8 a month with the new phone. So I obviously took the promotion. To my surprise there was a line added to my plan for an additional $35 on top of the $8 a month for the watch. The additional line was never disclosed to me, when I went in to clear up the confusion she said again that the watch was $8/month. After explaining the line she unexpectedly added she said the line is $10 a month and the watch is $8. Still confused by this because even the $10 was not mentioned to me when purchasing. While in the process of returning the watch I was informed of a $40 restocking fee this was the first I was hearing of this. But that's not all $30 of the $64 fee wouldn't be refunded to me because it was an "activation fee". Once I requested to be refunded the full $64 and she lied again saying she did properly explain the promotion, she refused me service and called the police.... On top of all of that she sold me a charger after telling me the iPhones no longer come with a charger, guess what I opened up the phone box and saw once I got home, A CHARGER! She's a lier she's deceitful and takes advantage of the customers. read more

After working for Verizon for 10 years, I decided it was time to test out T-Mobile. I was getting ready to lose my Verizon employee discount and Verizon's network congestion was starting to become an issue. I bought a SIM card from this location and tried out the service on my business trips. After traveling to Chicago, Syracuse, Indianapolis, Lima and Detroit, I decided that T-Mo was as good as Verizon. I went back and switched over my entire family. We are saving about $800 a year PLUS I get free in-flight WiFi on most of my Alaska Airlines flights. T-Mobile Tuesday is another perk that's cool. I've gotten free movie tickets, a free beanie, free umbrella and free MLB.TV subscription. read more

The store manager was very knowledgeable and helped my family when we came in last week. She helped us choose a plan that worked best for our needs, and answered every question we had. This should be your new go-to T-Mobile location, and to those who are thinking about switching from another carrier, in the words of Shia Lebouf: "DO IT". **I'm writing this review in hopes of escalating to appropriate management, as I did not receive a survey, particularly for Joshua and Nathan. I've been with t-mobile since 2004. I stopped by this location on the way to my parents' place and ordered a replacement phone not realizing I would have to come back to pick it up. This store is about 40 minutes from where I live. I wasn't looking forward to that. All the other TMobile stores I've been to never resulted in a pleasant experience. Not being tech savvy I deal with a lot of employees who get frustrated and impatient, who wants to feel like that? I was hoping I would get a customer service survey from T-Mobile but I didn't, so I wanted to take the time to truly commend the two gentlemen that were at the store, Joshua and Nathan because they deserve recognition not just in the way they helped me, but the way they helped other people in the store. I listened to Joshua work with people who didn't speak English with patience and grace (where many people would've been frustrated). I heard Nathan remember names of the customers and the rapport built was very obvious. Both were extremely helpful, patient, friendly and knowledgeable with every single customer that came in. It was about 7:30, close to closing time, but they weren't annoyed people were coming in or antsy (something I've experienced going into T-mobile stores close to closing time). All this to say, our phones are now our identity and our lives. I'm not tech savvy at all so I depend on people like Nathan and Joshua to ensure I understand my phone. I was so impressed by their customer service, unlike any other customer service I've received from t-mobile stores (for the last 13 years!!). Even though this store is 40 minutes out of the way, if I need anything in the future I will come back to this location, solely because of Joshua and Nathan - Thanks guys for helping me out with so much kindness. Very strange staff here. After my experiences here, I totally advocate for anyone to either call in or use the chat function online. The staff here are not only rude, but clearly don't want to be here. They don't act in your best interest, instead they try to underhandedly get you to spend money. On one occasion, I was given a defective phone through a warranty exchange. Instead of giving me my old phone back, they told me that my only option was to buy a new phone. I did so, because I had no other option and rely on my phone. After I was going to leave, the blonde girl that was helping me had the gall to say "make sure to leave a positive review! Anything less than a 5 star is a fail, so don't leave a review if you don't like the service". Like what kind of psycho thing to say to a customer is that? Especially after basically forcing me to buy a phone after THEIR screw up. Pro-tip: don't go here, use the online services. I don't liked being lied to or mislead by any company. I came to the location and bought a screen protector and was told it was a corporate store, after I asked if it was. Don't lie to me or your clients. It upsets me because they handle things different here and I was upset when returning a screen protector that I was told I could if it was damaged but that was also a lie. I came in to upgrade my phone and add another line. The manager is named Sean and he's nice enough but talks way too fast. Sean said I could trade in my old S4 for $180 which would be used as credit towards my next bill. I said I wasn't sure if I wanted to trade in now and I asked if I could trade it in at a later point. He said I could. So I come back at a later point and they tell me you have to trade when you get a new phone. I tell them what Sean said to me and they say maybe it's a special thing only the manager can do, but they can't do anything. I give them my name and number and tell them to have Sean call me. I came in here to upgrade my iPhone 11 for a 13. One of the associates helped me within 5 minutes of walking in. He pulled up my account and looked at my phone. I honestly think my phone was in great condition (not to be biased but I'm very careful with my phone) and the associate had the audacity to say that a barley visible and very light scratch on my phone was enough to cut his finger (which apparently is how they deem the phones damaged) and told me he needed to confirm with his manager who was in the back. Shortly thereafter a couple walks in and tells me that his two o'clock appointment just showed up and could no longer help me. The audacity of this employee turning me away as I was about to purchase a new iPhone 13 cash! He didn't even bother asking his manager or his co worker if they had time to help me. He pretty much told me to kick rocks. I've been in customer service my whole life and Id be damned if I let a paying customer walk out the door. Unbelievable. We had an issue with the account that required a 24 hour wait, the next day was his day off, he gave me his number and told me to call him when I knew what time I would be going to the store and he would meet me there so we could finish the transaction, I called him and sure enough Jerry was there. The fact that he took do much time with us the previous night to make sure we had what we wanted, he download my music and came in on his day off. I went in there to ask why there is no signal at all in Mill Creek, i paid $50 for service and get almost nothing, if i want to make phone call or use 3g i need to drive out of city center where i live near. This male sale agent told me there is an issue with cell tower, the signal angle was wrong and hit trees blah blah blah that why signal never go through,but t-mobile is fixing them. i asked when the signal going to be better because it never good, he said sorry im not in that team, so i don't know but don't think about changing carrier because they are the same. Well, check with other friends Att&t signal was mostly full. but anyway, i called 611 and representative told me no issue in my area at all, just not enough cell tower, she apologized asking if there be anything she could do to help with( in this case is none, i will change carrier.) BUYER BEWARE - this is an Express location. I was charged $94 that I should not have been, and also lost the ability to upgrade my phone for free later if so desired. Through this experience, I learned that there are three types of T-Mobile locations - Corporate, Express, and MobileOne. The Express and MobileOne locations seem to be 3rd-party franchises or something similar, and behave as if they're in competition against one another. And even though they have the EXACT same look and feel as a Corporate store, they seem to have different and/or isolated capabilities, so if you change something on your account at an Express location, they can't fix any related issues at a MobileOne location. The only safe move is to do your research and stick with Corporate locations only. If you're looking to go to this particular store off of 164th, the closest Corporate location is on Bothell Everett Highway by Thrashers Corner - GO THERE INSTEAD. read more

Within the last 5 weeks I've seen an influx of new employees here. Previously, there was a Japanese gentleman that was able to help me with all my phone/customer service needs. This has all changed in the past few visits here. First of all, the current staff has no knowledge of products nor services. Specifically speaking, a lady with red hair was particularly unhelpful. I came in for a phone number change(I've done it a couple of times here) and she told me to do it myself online. First of all, it was rude, second of all, I went out of my way to take care of this in store. After telling her this, she told me that the computers were "slow". I believe this was an excuse because of how busy the store was. I waited for 20 minutes to see a representative(and multiple customers were helped before me even though I came in first, thanks to the sales associate) and then I was told the computers are "slow" today. It's obvious my issue was not her priority.(I'm not buying a cell phone so she wouldn't make any commission by helping me) The fact that it was busy shouldn't subtract from customer service. What I asked for was a basic service that should've been provided. I will tell everyone from now on to steer clear from this establishment. They don't care about your product issues, they just want to make commission. Another thing I forgot to say was how strong the sales associates were trying to up sell you on miscellaneous items. This was particularly frustrating because of how busy the store was. With well over 10 people waiting to be helped, both the male and female sales associate were shamelessly shoving unneeded products in customers faces. On two occasions I heard multiple separate customers say along the lines of "I only came in to get a cell phone today" which was followed by a sales pitch for either wireless headphones, speakers or sd cards. These employees are some of the laziest people I've ever encountered as a consumer. The service here is comparable to the DMV. Never come to this store, take the extra 10 minutes to go up the highway to the next closest t mobile store, the extra 10 minute drive will save you an hour of headaches that I had to deal with here. read more

I went in for Phone replacement. My old phone had all my contacts, text, emails that I needed. I stressed to the associate that I couldn't lose any of that. I've had the same issue last time I upgraded the phone. Again the associate didn't seem to know what to do and was acting as if I was bothering her. She didn't know anything bout iPhones because she was a Samsung user. There was 3 other other associates just standing around. When she asked for help they were too busy being on their own phones to help. When I checked my contacts I had some so I thought she had done it right and we went ahead and erased my own. When I got home I checked again and realized that she only imported the SIM card. I was in a panic. My text and numbers for my dads health care was no longer available. When I called the store there was no apathy and all I was told was that the other phone was erased. I was devastated that this not only happened once but twice!!!! The same attitude as the first time it happened. I called the customer support line and was told nothing could be done. I was literally in tears. When I called Apple they were able to help me and retrieve all the missing things. They saved my life. You guys need to have a techs in your store just to do things like this like the Apple store does. Not have workers working who can't be bothered. Came here to purchase a specific Samsung phone, but they would not honor the online price from T-mobile.com ($40 cheaper), so I opted to only set up the new line instead and purchase the phone through the web site. All was fine until the sales kid decided that during the process, he'd hit the "accept" button for me twice on the terminal before I could read the terms I was supposed to adhere to. I tried to stop him, but wasn't quick enough. Still, the line was set up, and I hadn't even signed anything or agreed to squat. Still, no errors, so no stink to make, but pretty sure that was illegal, and he said that he does it all the time because most people don't read the terms. Then he told me I needed to buy the SIM kit for $10. Okay, that's fine, until my phone arrived a week later and already had a ready-to-active SIM included, so that's $10 wasted. I don't want to blast this kid as clearly this is the result of poor salesman training. Buying phones should not be this shady, folks. Went here about a month ago during my lunch break to see if they could add another line to an existing family plan. The salesmen were helpful in figuring out that another line could be added, they weren't 100% sure so they asked the manager if it would be a problem. The manager confirmed it would not, he then told me if I came back that day I would be eligible for a $200 bill credit promo, if we traded an old phone and ported a number over, that he just found about but I would need to come back that evening since he is not sure how long it would last. I thought this was a good deal so I returned that evening and did everything, the salemen, Todd, was super helpful, got the line added, took the old Iphone and I bought a new Iphone SE, ported number over from AT&T. Was given infor about $200 credit and then was told there was another promo for $200 gift card. An even better deal, right? Wrong!!!!!!!! Went online to fill get creidts and guess what not eligible. I called T Mobile and they said that I was given wrong info and to go back to the store and they would make it right. Went back in to and talked to Todd, he was apologetic, and said to given him a day to figure things out and they would make it right. Went back the next day and Todd tells me his manager was unavailable, but he would call a different manager and I would hear back from him after the weekend. Guess what, NO return call. Called T Mobile again and this time, they transferred me to a cutomer service specialist, they gave me a number and they took care of the problem! This was after 2 weeks! and no phone call from the store! I don't have a problem with Todd, he was professional and courteous. However, I would have appreciated a call from someone in management regarding this problem. I will never return to this store as I don't think you can trust anything that a manager tells you and they will never do anything to help you once they have your money! read more
