Zion let me know what the problem may be but would have to take a closer look, he was clear on what pricing would be and when I could check back. I checked later in the day and unfortunately, the phone could not be salvaged. Avoid at all costs, they run an insurance scam and then the manager strong arms you into paying by saying you cant have your phone back that day unless you pay out of pocket, then asurion refuses to cover their software error and the mistake of the tech at u break I fix. came in with a claim, they said the claim expired so I had to scan and make a new one, apparently Asurion put my imei on number into the system incorrectly (basically a phone VIN number), and the tech didnt notice before starting the work, so when I come back 3 hours later (they never called to tell me my phone was done) they said they would have to replace the broken screen back onto the phone before I could leave (so another 2 hours of my time to cover 2 mistakes, neither of which I made). The "district manager" Sebastian G then just lies to me and tells me my only 2 options are to come back the next day for the phone or pay out of pocket (upon calling asurion later he was supposed to tell me to call them to have the IMEI number fixed on their end, but it was close to their closing time and he did not want to stay late). So with no other option as I cannot leave my phone (literally dont know how to get home without it as I drove over 40 minutes to get here) I am strong armed into paying out of pocket. Now after weeks of run around with their parent insurance company assurion they found a solution where another claim could ve submitted which they would be reimbursed for and then I could be refunded as they would have essentially be paid. To this the "district manager" Sebastion said no because it would make a lot of paper work for him and apparently he was just too lazy to do extra work for a mistake his employee made (according to asurion they are not to do any work on a phone if the imei number doesnt match the one that is on the claim). So at the end of the day, 2 mistakes made by the company and no responsibility shown by the "district manager" Sebastian. At this point both them and Asurion are completely washing their hands of it and leaving me out the full amount of $491, which is ridiculous price to charge for a screen repair of a 5 year old phone but that is besides the point. The 2 receipts pictured will show that my correct IMEI number is on the receipt *after* I pay out of pocket (interesting how their system reads it right once I pay but not during the claim processs). Avoid at all costs and cancel your insurance with asurion, paid into it for over 5 years with no claims and when it finally comes time to pay out they find a way not to. Sebastian also lied when the work order was created to try and deny the time I dropped off (he claimed it was 4) but as you see on the receipt the work order was created at 11:46 am so it took them over 4 hours to *not* fix my phone. To further everything after finally having the insurance company get directly in contact with the store Sebastian lied about the events that transpired. This place is the absolute worst. If you have an iPhone, go to the Apple Store! I had a small crack on my screen so I took my phone in to get repaired. Note- they do not take appointments. I dropped it off around 4 and was told it would be done in an hour or hour and a half. They also asked for my passcode in which I gave it to them. When I came back an hour later, they had replaced the screen but didn't turn "find my" off so the phone thought it was stolen and was locked for an hour. They then told me they would need to keep it overnight and the tech had the audacity to say "maybe if you had come in earlier this wouldn't be happening". WHAT?! I was in shock but gave them my phone and left. The person up front said she would email me when they were done with it. Fast forward, no email so I had my fiance call and they confirmed I could pick it up. So, I did that only to see that they put the old screen back on! I asked why and they said I would need to submit a new insurance claim. What a complete waste of time. Never again. read more

I had problems with them with the phone and I said I would never go to them again, but here I am, taking my PlayStation 3 to them and it did not get fixed. I called in about fixing my ps5 and the man on the phone told me that one of the issues could be something with the mother board and that's something they can fix, so I agreed to run a diagnostic which cost 90 dollars. I had to reach out to them when the diagnostic was done, and some other man told me something completely different than what was expected. He told me that he couldn't fix it and now I'm stuck with a list of 90 dollars and still a broken ps5. Went to the Lynwood location for a cracked screen repair and the girl there said my phone was significantly bent. She put it on the face and tapped the corners to show me it was bent, but it didn't hardly move at all. I didn't think it was bent but nothing would change her mind about it, so I took it to the Everett location and they fixed it just fine..no questions asked. read more

I have used UBreakIFix/Asurion Lynnwood location 3 times now for my phone and laptop. They were extremely courteous, knowledgeable and fast. They understand the urgency of people needing their phones fixed. When they didn't have the part needed for my phone, they helped me find another location that had it (that location was great too!). I went back to them again for a new battery for my laptop. They thoroughly explained the charges and "what if" scenarios so I knew what to expect in case there were more issues that might make it not worth fixing. Ends up it WAS worth it to fix and they thoroughly checked the new battery and my laptop to be sure everything was working well. I wish I had never gone to Ubreakifix in Lynnwood, or any other location. Horrible company! Not trust worth! Stole my money and refused to give it back! My cell phone needed a simple repair and they damaged my phone. I tried to give them a chance to fix it, but the rude and condescending manager installed something on my phone without my permission. All I got were excuses and more damage to my phone. I asked for a refund but they refused to give me one. Even though they were the ones who violated my privacy, caused damage to my phone where there was none, and installed things on my phone when I told them not too. It was fixed when I brought it in and THEY BROKE IT!!! Tried to get Asurion Ubreakifix corporate involved to make the situation right, and they deceived me too. Kept me on hold for hours and hung up on me numerous times. I intend to seek additional action to get my money back because no one else is going to fix what they did for free. And I will also report what they did so that this will never again happen to anyone else. Consumers have rights that should never be violated. I dropped off my PlayStation which they charge $50 just to drop off/estimate repair. I was told I would hear back about an estimate and diagnosis in a couple days. After several weeks of hearing nothing, I had to call.....fix to correct the HDMI port was just as expensive as buying a new unit. It was a waste of three weeks and $50. I would not recommend this place for console issues, go through the manufacturer. Reps were nice, but not good service in terms of communication or timeliness. read more

This place is the absolute best! I went in about 15 minutes before they closed because I stepped this stupid a pain that I had to use my fingerprint for and put in password. Needless to say I forgot the password so I had to go get a hard reset done on my phone. After it was all done the guy looked at me and said you know what it didn't take me but a minute so I'm not even going to charge you my mouth dropped to the floor.
