The WORST customer service on the planet!! Every experience is strenuous, tedious and exhausting. I had to verify who I was 5 times with 5 different people. Ridiculous! Nobody there takes charge. They specialize in stalling, re-asking the same questions with obvious answers over and over then pass you off to another person or phone number that you have to wait for only to be asked the same questions again multiple times and passed to the next clown in the gauntlet. Terrible Experience, disrespectful manager, and just getting run around instead of fixing the problem. My 74-year-old father went into this T-Mobile store and purchased two iPhone 16 Pro Max devices with total 360 insurance. The store manager, Thomas, failed to properly activate one of the phones during the SIM transfer, which later caused Assurant to deny our insurance claim after the phone was stolen. My dad returned to the store to try and resolve the issue, the manager was extremely disrespectful and kicked my elderly father out, refusing to let me speak while I was on FaceTime. He was very dismissive and disrespectful right when my dad walked in the store. When I was trying to explain that I had already called customer care (611) and file a claim with Assurant. He did not want to take accountability of his actions and didn't even try an rectify or salvage situation. Once he said " if you don't let me finish, im going to tell you to leave" he wasn't there to help. I even asked him how we could contact regional/district manager, he refused and told my dad he was going to call the cops. T-Mobile's own customer service confirmed that their protocol requires a call or text during SIM transfer to activate insurance coverage. That step was skipped, and now we're out $1,100 with no coverage and no accountability on a service we purchased! T-Mobile corporate, this store, and Assurant are all pointing fingers at each other, giving us the run around. No one is taking responsibility. This is a broken system that punishes customers for employee mistakes. We've been loyal T-Mobile customers for over 20 years, and this experience has been incredibly disappointing. read more

Terrible coverage. T-Mobile claims our area is well covered by them. However, this doesn't seem to be the case. All my friends including myself that have T-Mobile service get poor connectivity on wireless internet and calls. I have brought this up several times to the company's attention but to no avail. Poor coverage on both bases. I have decided to drop t-mobile. I wasted too much money for bad service connection! T-mobile is a joke among my fellow workers. read more

The store has been very responsive to my needs over the years and Dakota is awesome. When i call in they never rush me and appreciate the extra help i got last year when i got my new iphone13 pro max. They helped me get my older phone turned in so i could receive credit. Also go above snd beyond to help with screen protectors. I am a senior and they have never been treated poorly or condescending at this store. Very happy with store just wish the physical store was larger like Everett. Was going to go in to store today but like last year so busy and crowded. So will call my questions in and wait to see the apple watch i want to purchase in store when less busy. Never been totally thrilled with cell service on Island but not frustrated enough to change providers. Plus customer care team has gotten so much better over the years. I try to avoid the oak harbor store as much as I can! The manager is always there unfortunately and is rude and not helpful at all! My go to is Mt Vernon they are very nice and do not belittle you because you are not tech sophisticated like myself! read more

I walked into this store today and asked if they had headphones for sale. The lady said "yes, but first we need to register you. ". I said why and she its store policy so whats your name so i can register you. I said i don't need to give out my personal information to buy headphones and then she said again it was store policy. I called corporate more than 4 weeks ago to address the problems with this shop. I *SPECIFICALLY* asked to be contacted by a District Manager to address and Resolve The Issues. What I've gotten back is Nothing -- Nadda -- Zero -- Zip -- Zilch! Let's do the math ... Just visited the location Oak Harbor WA asking a question about our bill and the manager was a complete jerk to us. She lost her temper immediately because we didn't understand. Her comments towards us were unbelievable. She has the worst customer service. She is like this even when we go in to pay our bill. My husband and I really try to avoid this location because of a single employee named Sam. Each time we have come into the store, she is inevitably the one who helps us. It seems like every question we ask her is the dumbest question she's ever heard. She has treated us so rudely and condescendingly in the past, that we now drive to Burlington, WA- a 1 1/2 hour drive- for any possible help we need. We bought four new phones and upgraded our plan last weekend, and decided that it's such a long drive, that maybe we would stop into the Oak Harbor store, just in case she wasn't working. Well, she was working. Instead of helping us get new phones like we asked, she wanted to find out how we broke the last ones, and told us basically how dumb we were for not having a case on them. We simply walked out of the store without buying anything. When we arrived at the Burlington store to get our new plans and phones, the customer service was phenomenal. At the end of our visit, we mentioned how we had driven all the way from Oak Harbor to avoid this one employee. The four agents surrounding us started exclaiming that they "get that ALL the TIME!" that "You wouldn't believe how many customers we get from Oak Harbor because of her!" One of them said he was going to try to go in there, because he has to see this for himself to find out if all the rumors were true. I wasn't going to write a review until I found out that Sam is actually the MANAGER! I feel this is my only way to get the ownership to train her on how to treat people with dignity and respect. So this company has so many spam callers from T-Mobile phone numbers that almost every call I get is Spam so what I've done is I set all my calls to T-Mobile in Oak Harbor so I call him every once in awhile to check my messages but they never returned my call they don't care about their customers they don't care what's going on with their customers but if you go to Verizon it's the same deal bogus phone numbers I can't wait till the cell phones go away and we go back to the old pagers hahahah read more

Every time I have had to deal with Tmobile I seem to get passed around and never get the same information. I go to the store and they tell me they can't help I have to call customer service and when I call customer service they can't help I'm told I have to go to the store. Their customer service is bad. They add fees and charge for things that were supposed to be free. You need to watch your bill carefully we have been frequently overcharged. Employees were very direct with their answers and talked down to me. Not friendly whatsoever. I work in customer service so I can easily come from both sides of this. Their job is to provide a welcoming atmosphere, attend to my needs and provide the service they are required to. None of which was met. The worst part is they referred me to take care of my issues on the phone rather than in person. There was no one else in the store so they were apparently too lazy or busy with the conversation i walked in on to help me themselves. It seemed like too much work for them. You know, after all I wouldn't want to trouble someone to do the job they're getting paid to do. I got far better and faster service over the phone from people most likely getting paid WAY less.
