When she was finally helped, the service rep replied to her, "Sure, and that will be another $29 to download your contacts again. You should have made sure you had all of your contacts before you left the store." Unbelievable and so angering to hear someone make a comment like that. Had an issue with our phone and account and the staff was awesome in getting everything fixed. We joked and had a good time as things got completed during our account fix. We also upgraded one phone and the activation was the smoothest, and quickest ones we've ever experienced. The staff also walks EVERYONE out the door and thanks is for coming in...also something not found at other locations. Customer Service is top notch here.

Given the fact that we had tried to do this transition in Arizona and the employees at the Best Buy in Arizona were complete idiots and not helpful at all, we figured we would have better luck in our home state, which, for starters, doesn't rank at the bottom of the educational scale. What a difference in customer service, product know-how, and plan in's and out's. We worked with Cody during the time that we were trying to figure all of this out, and he was amazing. He explained everything in a manner that was clear and concise, and he did everything he could to get us a new plan and some new phones. Alas, Verizon just rolled out a very SkyNet-esque fraud policy that locks down applications that are from people who are out of state. This policy is new and apparently cannot be overridden by supervisors. The minute one person unlocked it, the computer automatically relocked it. It was very frustrating for us and for the people trying to help us. What was most frustrating is knowing that we would have to do this transaction back in Arizona, where printing shopping cart lists off of BestBuy.com seems to be about the extent of the experience their employees have. However, Cody did everything right, and spent a significant amount of time trying to help us. We appreciated that so much, and truly wish that things would have worked out for us to have given him our business.
