The manager then wrote down a phone number for us to call for help that ended up being a scam asking my mother in law for her checking account info before they would even talk about helping with her password!!!!! So I headed to Gamestop with my year warranty and boy was I in for a suprise. I had the headphones in a small bag over my shoulder, revealing it's story to the associate behind the counter -Arben. Arben wasted zero time explaining also I could re-up my warranty for less than $10 dollars. Explaining again the unfortunate situation of also being completely broke, Arben paused. When I looked back behind the counter moments later after I DC Universe commerical caught my eye featuring Penquin From Batman Returns (Duck Car included!!), I noticed Arben (the associate) had vanished. I followed to where I could see someone crouching - It was Arben with the same headphones only CHEAPER! All said and done, I waited for affirmation we were good when Arben muttered "Let me see something- hang on." I was handed 34 cents and also told my warrenty for the headphone for the next year was free!! FREE and I got paid!! WHAT!! GameStop is just as the name states with workers like Arben who thrive for a visit you won't soon forget. Everytime I'm blown away by prices but now a complete suprise I couldn't have expected anywhere else!

Deducted 2 stars because I stated numerous times that I was NOT interested in any Disney+ or internet or any accessories. I know they "have to ask" but I also wasn't disclosed that they'd be changing actual phone plan. Nobody ever told me that nor did I ask for it. I simply wanted a new phone on my existing plan. When I called a week later after getting a bill, they said "oh we upgraded your plan too!". My bill went from $125 to $185. Not cool.

After the staff failed 3x to migrate apps/data/settings to new phone, I asked for the charges to be reversed and my old phones reinstated. Travis the store manager then told me he couldn't help with a refund. He explained all of the fees were non-refundable and neither he nor his employees had to inform customers about non-refundable items. He also said that it wasn't his nor his employees responsibility to make our new phones work. Effectively, he is accountable for nothing. Then his team charged me a restocking fee of $55 for each phone that they couldn't setup. Fortunately, I called Verizon and got all of the fees reversed. Clearly Travis is wrong or flat out lied. I cannot say it more clearly, go somewhere else or call Verizon. The employees here are unhelpful, dishonest, and have no idea what good customer service is.

They have replaced everything with AI meaning you call their direct line and it is an AI bot that picks up the phone. Just assume any problem you have will never be addressed until you switch to a difference provider and have to pay AT&T their ridiculous fees to do so.

I paid extra for a warranty at this store and got SCAMMED for my trouble…read more When I bought my controller, the employee sold me a protection plan by telling me I could bring the controller in and walk out with a brand new one. No mention of a time limit. No mention of any conditions. No mention that "new" actually meant "whatever used controller is sitting in the back." When I finally used it, they took my working-ish controller and handed me a used one in worse condition than what I brought in. The buttons stopped responding almost immediately after I left the store. So I paid extra money for the privilege of downgrading to a broken controller. I came back to swap it out and was told they couldn't do anything for me. They knowingly handed me defective used hardware under a plan that was sold to me as a new-for-old exchange, and then refused to stand behind it. So to recap: I was misled about what the warranty covered, misled about what I'd receive, given a broken product, and then denied any remedy on a plan I paid extra for. That's not a warranty. That's a fee for nothing. Don't buy the protection plan here. Get whatever you're told in writing, or just buy your accessories somewhere with a real return policy.
