In the past 9 months, this store has changed for the better. It doesn't deserve the 2.5 star average because of a few disgruntled conspiracy theorist Yelpers, lookin at you A.B. In the past, this store probably deserved its rating, but someone new in management has taken it to the next level. Employees are knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, responsive, considerate, sensitive, nice, caring, resourceful, responsible, and overall have positive attitude makes this an excellent store to visit. My recent visit included switching service from AT&T to Verizon, porting an existing number, deciding on a new device, and buying appropriate accessories. They were able to answer all my questions, explain everything efficiently, recommended products, pitch their current deals without being too pushy, and make my visit as enjoyable as possible. People talk about Apple stores being on the cutting edge of retail, Apple must being taking notes from the team at this Verizon store. Top notch. 10/10 would recommend people go out of their way to go to this store. read more

***DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION*** On 2/13 I spent 1.5 hours here to upgrade two phones. After the staff failed 3x to migrate apps/data/settings to new phone, I asked for the charges to be reversed and my old phones reinstated. Travis the store manager then told me he couldn't help with a refund. He explained all of the fees were non-refundable and neither he nor his employees had to inform customers about non-refundable items. He also said that it wasn't his nor his employees responsibility to make our new phones work. Effectively, he is accountable for nothing. Then his team charged me a restocking fee of $55 for each phone that they couldn't setup. Fortunately, I called Verizon and got all of the fees reversed. Clearly Travis is wrong or flat out lied. I cannot say it more clearly, go somewhere else or call Verizon. The employees here are unhelpful, dishonest, and have no idea what good customer service is. read more

Don't bother coming, they can't help you. Visited the store to get assistance with our phone bill. Walked in to get assistance due to the customer service line not being able to help us. Carlos checked us in and immediately advised there's nothing he can do, and told us to call customer service. We let him know that unfortunately the customer service line has not been helpful and proceeded to try to explain but he was not willing to listen. He advised that we needed to call them and there's nothing he can do. He showed us how to call on our phones, which we explained - we've done that. Carlos was not proactive or helpful, whatsoever. He didn't take accountability or offer assistance to help up actually call and get us help. I've worked in customer service for nearly 10 years and when anyone has an issue, we take the time to help get you to the right place. We listen to your concerns and escalate however possible. I offered Carlos L feedback on his lack of accountability and assistance, which he kept interrupting. I then asked if there was any contact information for a district manager, but he rudely stated to call customer service and proceed to help the next guest. He did not bother to listen to the concerns or allow us to express our concern fully. I do believe there could be some training opportunities for service recovery at this location. It's unfortunate that Carlos L was not willing to give me information as I would have emailed their district manager, however I'm having to post it here. We will now need to contact customer service and hope that they don't continue to hang up on us, and hope they can help. (Note we've contacted them a total of 22 times now, each time asking for a supervisor and getting hung up on). If anyone is able to provide district manager info, or can actually get us to someone who can help, that would be appreciated. I've only added the first initial of the name so I don't entirely blast the employee, as feedback should be constructive, and not to put anyone on blast. Visit was on 10/4/24 at 6:15PM MT. Edit: I wrote this as I sat outside and the employee sat there and laughed at us from inside the store. He kept pointing and laughing which was absolutely disgusting. Worst customer service ever! The manager is a power tripping! After being a loyal customer for over 18 years and spending $500 a month they treat you like shit. we have had nonstop issues with the gizmo three watch and I drove into the store to get it addressed and the manager did not seem to care and suggested we drive to another store because he didn't want to deal with the issues and was completely incompetent. Terrible interaction with Carlos yesterday. Employee was rude when I entered the store. Prompting me to "check in on the screen" as he didn't look up or acknowledge me beyond that. He then told me that to put on my warranty replacement screen protector, purchased from Verizon when I got my phone, if he does a bad job it's not his fault nor can he do anything about it. I asked if that meant he was planning on doing a poor job and he then refused to help me and was extremely rude. When I asked for his name he said he was going to file a complaint and ban me from the store. Probably the worst customer service experience I've ever had. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE EVER! Went to Verizon store in Cherry Creek Mall with my daughter. Her father passed away very unexpectedly. (obviously very traumatic) She was told over the phone that she needed to go to the store with a death certificate. The Cherry Creek Store Manager (don't know his name but he had red ear gages...yuck!) informed her she needed to go to court and then proceeded to lecture her that her father had "every opportunity" to make her an administrator. Do not buy anything from this store. They are crooks and liars with zero customer service. I've never been so livid at a routine issue in my life because of how this store handles issue. Whoever is the GM of this store should definitely do an audit of how Daniel (Specialist) handles customer issues - he made a low level issue manifest into a big customer escalation with his cold-blooded approach to talking to customers. We went to trade in our phones a few weeks ago and with some promotions and other things applied to our account, our new bill was supposed to be $154/month. To our surprise, we got a notification that our bill was almost double around $276/month, despite us having a contract SIGN and DOCUMENTED that our new bill was supposed to only be $154/month. We tried to contact Verizon's billing, and after horrendous experience there, where they told us they could not see what we had signed in store, told us to go back to the store. We have two young kids and live nearly an hour away from the Verizon store, so it's a major trip to get a babysitter and drive an hour to deal with a billing issue. When we got to the store, they couldn't actually help us other than to give us another customer service number (supposedly with a better queue of agents). Fine, I get it - nothing at Verizon is integrated and they've got outdated legacy IT systems. What made me livid is randomly this guy Daniel comes up and just starts barking at me. It probably won't come out in this conversation exchange but he was full oh mmm-hmmm, yeah okay's, and just language to completely dismiss me and talk to me as if I were a child who couldn't understand basic English. "There's a $35 activation fee" - Daniel "Yes, I see that on the bill we signed, that doesn't explain the extra $100 in charges" - Me "Well you got a discount and it takes 3 billing cycles" - Daniel "No one explained that to me, it says right here our estimated next monthly bill is supposed to be $154" "Well no one explains to you the "surgery" of how this works. You should have known.- Daniel "How was I supposed to know? It says right here (in the contract I printed showing my $154 estimated bill)" "Well yeah you're not gonna see that because you just traded in your phone and so it takes 3 months" "Well I never would have agreed to this had I know we would be overcharged for 3 months !!" "Mmmhmm, well yep, guess no one told you" And on and on If he had simply started with, "Ma'am, sorry to hear that you're having a billing issue. You'll see this all corrected after 3 billing cycles but in the meantime your next bill might look funky but it will all work out in the end", it would have been a completely different conversation. But he was COLD, ACCUSATORY, literally zero empathy and just kept on digging in. Daniel should have a back office job that doesn't involve talking to customers because it honestly wasn't a big deal and he made a situation escalate because he was so nonchalant and cold hearted about it. After 25 minutes on perma hold Verizon finally answered and promptly put me back on hold because she had no idea where that store was nor what the number could possibly be. I can't blame her. Sounded like she was in some degrading exploitive south asian call center. I hopped in the car and actually drove to the store while I was on hold with Verizon. The Verizon call failed on the way to the store. I just waited in the store for 20 minutes and nobody helped me. I just left. I came in to the cherry creek mall store to have them look into an issue with a mifi I have and right off the bat they were reluctant to help me. Finally one of the technicians did help me with one issue then I asked about another issue and they complete shut me down saying that they don't help with tech issues. I always have issues with this store but I was in the area and fell to their mercy. Moving to xfinity is looking more prudent every day. I actually asked the manager and with attitude he had a mile of excuses. Half the crew is standing around. I have never been dismissed the way the manager did today like he couldn't be bothered and I walked by the store again like 30 minutes later and he hadn't moved from his spot. Absolute clown show. In June my iphone stopped working after downloading the latest Apple software update. Several trips to the Apple corporate store and calls to Verizon provided no help. So I searched around Denver to find a CORPORATE store, so that I know the employees knew what they were doing. The employee told me he could exchange my phone, submitted it for replacement. I received my new phone about 2 weeks later. 2 months after this, Verizon added a $329 charge to my bill for the new phone (a 5 year old version of the iPhone). They have refused to remove the charge, even tho it was their CORPORATE employee who sent the phone in to be replaced. So I used the phone until Verizon turned it off, and I've taken the new phone they sent me and connected it with T-Mobile. Over a fraudulent $329 charge they lost a customer who was paying $130/month for their most premium plan. based on the way I was treated, I urge you not to use Verizon wireless. You think you are paying a premium for the best, but they are no longer that. I suggest getting a much cheaper plan with any other carrier. EDIT: Like the comment below from a Verizon Rep alludes to, A representative from Verizon's "executive office" called me this morning. I took the call because I wanted to help them flesh out their business practices, and it wasn't until 20 minutes into the conversation that I realized they basically had this "executive" running as a bill collector. He told me that since he was "willing to negotiate part of the fee", I'd need to go ahead and pay the rest of my bill which was charged correctly. I hung up and blocked the number. April 11th Update: I am SO happy today! Know why? I received a bill that had -Yes- extra fees, charges! I tried again... to use the app to figure out these charges since the customer service can be so very difficult to get in touch with a human.. app did not go well, but I no longer care BECAUSSSSSEE after seeing extra charges after being with other companies for YEARS and not having that happen -it was the last straw plus I'm tired of having to constantly switch my phone between LTE, 3G, airplane mode blah blah blah just to get it to try to work several times a day. Much better than more than once every two hours, but still- you shouldn't have to do that with your phone service. I am proud to say I am now (yes I'm using my new service to write this! It did not take me 8 minutes just to get onto yelp) with another company, and my phone hasn't been this fast since I first bought it in California. If you live in the Denver area please think VERY, VERY carefully before you sign up with Verizon. After the first 14 Days that's it. You better make sure the area you will be in the most is covered in person not via a map because from my experience they do not care about their customers. They do have people that are helpful over the phone at times- if you're lucky, and in person, but they also have people that will laugh at you, and do not care at all, and will give you three different answers when there should be only one answer on the amount owed or etc. I've used Verizon two times in my life. The first time was an absolute disaster, and they did not care then- I only used them for two months then left ASAP. Same this time- an absolute disaster. I signed up for service in January, and now it's April. I would have changed in January if I had known all the issues it would cause. March 19th Update- Spoke with Apple (i've been an Apple customer for over a decade. MacBook laptops, and IPhones mostly though I also have an iPad etc.) easily got a human on the phone, and found out that I will be completely covered through Apple for the next year! They will completely replace my entire phone. Verizon has the worst costumer support!!!! You can not get anyone to help you on the phone or with their chat. When you go into the store they say you have to call the help number. They say they are open 24/7 but when you call they are closed and they hang up on you!!! Why did I ever switch to Verizon?! I was dumb enough to buy the protection plan but when I call to send something in they say now it is not covered. No one knows how to do anything in their company. Something to know about Verizion and probably any other phone carrier... When you switch to another carrier they will NOT pro rate the charges. My husband and I switched to XFINITY (because we will save $250.00 a month) a week ago and today we were charged the full month of service from May 12 to June 12. AND June 13 to July 12. If you are thinking of switching, make sure to do it on the end date of your service or you are paying TWO carriers for one full month. read more

Regardless of your feelings on Verizon corporate, usually the in-store experience is more or less pleasant. Not so at Cherry Creek Mall, apparently. I was there two weekends ago, and dealt with Randy? Ralph? (he was a red-haired gentleman) was consistently condescending and rude. He made what should have been a quick trip lengthy and uncomfortable for my mother and I. After directly speaking to Randy/Ralph, I approached the on-duty manager to talk about Randy(?)'s behavior, he said "there is no formal complaint process but that he'd talk to Randy" which seems unusual for a sales and customer service position, and a lot like Manager wasn't going to do anything. Without going into our woes too much, we had questions about charges to our bill and Randy refused to answer direct questions, going instead into the minutea of various .25 cent charges and Verizon policies (which didn't apply to our question). When I re-explained to him that I had a much more general concern he became rude, said that it was my fault my mother didn't understand our bill, and threw his hands up and said "FINE! YOU TRY." Keep in mind we were kindly, quietly talking to him when this happened. I hate to think/say this but I doubt that if I were a dude he would have reacted to my asking him simple questions with such a haughty attitude. I'm sure plenty of people are mean to the Verizon people, but I certainly wasn't and deserved to be treated with courtesy. read more

I'm adding an extra star to balance out some of the ones that seem a little low for unfair reasons that have more to do with Verizon on a corporate level, and less about this particular location... People should know that getting a smart phone through any of the big providers is like buying a car. It's going to take WAY longer to get out of there than you thought, you ARE going to be stuck with a bill for a long while, and it's NEVER as easy as just picking one, paying, and leaving. I just went in tonight to upgrade and trade-in my iPhone after having two orders that I bought online and then on the phone bungled. (They didn't tell me it was backordered, didn't say I could get the 256G model now when I said I needed it now, wrong color ordered, rushed the order for a sale). I canceled the second order which they charged me MORE for the same phone I had first ordered and PAID FOR up front on my credit card. THEN, the manager had to wait on the phone to get them to cancel the second order I canceled on SUNDAY because it was still pending, and she couldn't cancel it on her end because THEY USE A DIFFERENT SYSTEM than the one used for online and phone orders She did this all while trying to check-in other customers because the sales rep didn't know how to handle it. I could tell she was stressed out but she fixed it for me without complaining. Then the sales clerk finished up and I walked out with my phone and he helped me find a case and installed my screen protector. This all took an hour but I will NEVER order a phone online with Verizon again. These two earned their commissions in SPADES and should be rewarded. Highly recommend. This has to be the WORST Verizon in town. If you want to feel like an inconvenience, or that your money is best spent elsewhere come on down to the Verizon at Cherry Creek mall. We've been to Verizon's all over town and never had a problem but the customer service at this location has to be the worst. IF they acknowledge you existence and that's a huge IF they treat you like you are an idiot, and a complete waste of their time. They do not want to help you. Otherwise, just like at 11:55 today 12/31/2022 their time was way better spent ignoring all their customers in the store and standing in the back gossiping with their co-workers during their busiest time of the day. Two stars is pretty generous, but I'm not one to totally badger a big corporate company nor their semi competent employees. I came here a few weeks ago to upgrade my iPhone. I waited a few minutes and was told that I needed to order the phone. Boo. I asked if I could go upstairs to the Apple store to pick one up, the Verizon representative told me no I had to go through them. (Apparently he lied and I could go to the Apple store for an upgrade) So I ordered the phone and got it with a few days. Long story short you need to call from another line (who has multiple lines at their home) to activate the phone. Long story short I went to the Apple store and had them help me transfer all of my info to the new phone. I thought it was activated and after leaving the mall I thought it was. Well 2 hours later I realized it wasn't. I called Verizon customer service and they told me I need to call from another phone yada yada yada. He then told me to dial a number from my phone that would work, it didn't. Second trip to the mall I explained that I needed to activate my phone, the person standing by the door checking people in told me it was 15-20 mins. Really? All I needed was for him to dial the activation number and I'd be all set up, which I insisted to do. After looking up my account online he first told me the customer service rep told me the wrong number to dial (well i could have figured that out) and dialed the number to activate my phone. Wow! With in 5 mins the phone was activated and I saved 30 mins of my life. PS. I totally agree with the Best Buy commercials, you need to know what you want before you head into the store because the employees are trained to up sell on unnecessary products you DON'T need. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Adam Brown yesterday, and was really happy with my experience. I was switching from my parents plan to one of my own, and had a TON of questions. Adam was super patient and informative, and helped me pick out the perfect plan for me. He gave me some additional tips on when the best time to trade in my phone so I could get the best deals and rebates, and even helped me get my app set up before leaving. I feel very confident in everything I picked yesterday because of him, and will be happy to drive the extra couple of miles to come back to this location next time I need anything. read more

Do not go to this store. EVER. Adam, who was horrible all around the first time I came in (used manipulative speech to have me spend way more money than he made it sound). I was supposed to receive a rebate for spending over 100$, and he said I had everything I needed to get said refund, but never gave me an itemized receipt). I then went to get a refund after being in complete shock by the total added to my bill bc he never told me how much the accessories cost, probably why he didn't give me the itemized. Verizon said that they could not give rebates without an itemized. I came back, and he straight lied about the stores not giving out itemized receipts. I spent an hour an a half here the first time and then another hour to get the receipt. He He then continued to laugh at me while someone else had to try and manage and get me a receipt. Terrible service. Completely misleading on contract ending dates. Verizon sent a notice saying our contract was over, so we signed up with AT&T, bought a new iPhone and went to Verizon right after to stop service. Not so easy, they said you have 3 months remaining on your contract, "You owe us money as you are breaking your contract." What?!?!? "You just sent a notice that my contract is up." not true, this is a pre-notice that your contract is ABOUT to end. Who does that????? Verizon does that. We have been subscribers of Verizon for almost 9 years, isn't that enough to be a loyal customer?? Just because I misunderstood the contract ending "notice" as my actual contract termination date, Verizon still penalized us. Where's the loyalty and customer service there???? Unbelievable. Glad to know all of Verizon Wireless customers are being taken advantage of. The worst part of this, there is nothing anyone can do about it. It is as if customers have to decipher the code to understand what is really going on. Reading a few other reviews here backs up my frustration. Worst experience ever!!! Matthew customer service skills is non existent and is condescending and arrogant. We came into the store to trade in our phones. Our son, who lives in SoCal purchased a family plan and we were told to turn in our phones and apply the phone trade-in to the bill. We came in Saturday night to do that and Taran quoted a trade-in value of $79 for each phone. We wanted to transfer the data and photos we had on our phones to the cloud so we had to go home to do that. After we did that, we went back to the store Monday evening to trade in the phones. We signed in as we entered to get the next available salesperson which was Matthew. He asked me how much was offered for the trade-in. I told him $79 for each phone. He told me that the offer was now $75. I to.d him how can it change when we were told the phone trade-in were $79 two days ago with the same promotion? He told me if $4 was a deal breaker then go someplace else. How arrogant and condescending! I should have looked at yelp before I went to a Verizon store!!
