I stopped by just at closing on a Monday night after July 4th weekend. The screen on my phone shattered, and my contract just ended as well so I was hoping to get a new phone for signing on for another two years. The wait wasn't long, in my opinion, nonetheless I was periodically checked on while waiting and reassured I had not been forgotten about. Much appreciated. John was very informative, pleasant, honest, had a great sense of humor, and did not push any extras during my visit. In fact, I walked out of the store with a brand new phone, some extra cash from trading in my phone, $100 in Google Play credits, and I never even pulled my wallet out. Well worth the extra few miles to avoid, ahem, another location that may or may not be inside of a mall.. Overall, quite possibly the best in store experience I have had with Verizon. Easy breezy. Absolutely horrible manager! His name is Alexa i believe. An online representative said we had to go in to get help with setting up an online account. Once there, waited for about 30 minutes to be seen. After they try to upsell my elderly mother in law on a new phone and increase her bill by $20 a month, they proceeded to say they couldn't help with the online account. The manager then wrote down a phone number for us to call for help that ended up being a scam asking my mother in law for her checking account info before they would even talk about helping with her password!!!!! Beware! That young kid has no business being a manager. When I asked what his name was he said, you dont need to know that! Wtf? He needs to be fired! read more

The salesman is unprofessional! I have been dealing with an account transfer for three month, and still has not been completed successfully. I just want to check my account status, so I went to this store because I also having trouble accessing my online account! I guess because it was close to the closing time, the man with no hair in front keeps saying he cannot check it for me and I have to CALL customer service! I had experience with the customer service that on phone for three hours but was not helpful at all. I hope the salesman can help me on this, but he said "you are rude, I'm not going to talk to you" when I get emotional!!!! I am emotional because you guys did not fix my problem! It makes sense why this place has a 2-star rating. Bought my screen protector from Verizon through Belkin with the warranty. Ordered a replacement to have them put it on. Guy greeting me was leaning on the counter like he couldn't be bothered. When I asked if he could put it on, mind you they do it with a machine guide that basically does it perfectly and takes very minimal user operation, he didn't want to do it and told me I had to wait 45 minutes for his other tech to open up. Verizon Protection plan is a scam. $20 dollars a month for 5 years. I tried to get a phone fixed and it turns out that Verizon subcontracts to a third rate company called Asurion. They are absolutely worthless, 5 phone calls, hours wasted, the company put several $29 holds on my credit card, and then told me that they could not fix the camera screen. They would need to replace the phone and it would be a $280 dollar deductible, I got the camera screen fixed for $50 at Phone Repair and More Lakewood CO. I spent over $1K in protection plan over the years and Verizon customer service refused to help or fix the issue. read more

Bought 2 phones on Verizon.com today and chose to pick up at this Verizon location at Northfield. They handed me the phones and we wanted to turn them on to make sure the porting of our old number worked, since we live 30 miles from here and didn't want to get home and have an issue. The store associates told us we could not do the set up in the store, even by ourselves, because they are only doing sales this weekend, no customer service. We had to move away from their seats because they are for them to use for Sales, and if we were setting up our phones, that is considered Customer Service. They made it clear they are not doing any customer service activities this weekend. So, don't go here if you need any customer service. When buying the new Iphone 11 in this store I was surprised to find out that they were charging me a $40 "upgrade fee" even though I was 1) paying for the phone upfront, 2) did not have payments due on previous phones and 3) not in a contract of any kind. So, you're charging $40 for the privilege of waiting in line and buying a phone through you even though I've been a customer for a number of years? When questioning the manager on this he said that it's a "regulatory charge". "Whose regulation?" I asked. "Ours", he said. I'd laugh if it didn't feel like highway robbery. If you are looking for a retail location to purchase a new phone I'd suggest not doing it through Verizon. You'll be better served going straight to the source and ordering from the manufacturer. read more

Having been a Verizon customer for about ten years now. I have been able to get new phones with a new every two year credit of $100. Service is ok, but I have to laugh at the horrible irony of the "Can you hear me now?" commercial. I have had so many dropped calls, and bad service...I really do not think they should advertise like they do. Regardless, one of the reasons I have stuck with them is because they have a nice teacher discount program which shows up each month on my bill. I walked into this store a few weeks ago to get a new phone. After I picked out the phone I was interested in, the salesman said, "you will also receive some things for free." I had never heard of this before, as usually they charge for an accessories bundle. Nevertheless he packed my little Verizon bag with the phone box, and several accessories...a car charger, a bluetooth, and a cover which he promptly put on my cell phone... Silly me decided to look at the receipt when I arrived home, instead of at the store. They had charged me almost $70.00 for all of these supposedly FREE accessories! Are you kidding me? Rather than focusing on the lazy salesman who lied about having cases for my Xr, let's talk about Sandra who provided excellent support for my son as he got his phone set up. She was patient and answered all questions with patience and understanding despite being 30 before closing on a Friday. When it came time to add the accessories (5 min before closing) she had no trouble finding Xr cases; a whole drawer full of choices. 5 stars for the amazingly hardworking staff who got me in and out in a jif with exactly what I needed even though I was somewhat grumpy. Update for Verizon itself: 1 star for Verizon itself. The reception is always good but I'm pretty fucking irritated they got rid of their trade in program. It's wasteful as fuck and I don't think Verizon is struggling for profits. I doubt highly the profits from getting rid of this program are trickling down into the pockets of their employees. Also, they will no longer transfer your data/content over to the new phone for you. You HAVE to use a cloud (I can't, I use it for work and have HIPAA protected info on there) and you also HAVE to have access to wifi in order to use this. Apparently the tech that they used to help customers efficiently on site just up and *poof* vanished. Oh, and the unlimited data plan isn't really unlimited. If you go over a certain amount your streaming speed will deplete quite a bit. Yes, even if you pay for unlimited data. I really feel bad for the in-store employees. Honestly, if I weren't already invested in a family plan, I'd look elsewhere. Verizon would rather increase it's profit margins (no, seriously, they posted a "stagnant" margin the 1st quarter of 2018. This doesn't mean they're not generating billions of dollars of profit, it just means their profits aren't increasing and they just can't have that....) read more

I went in certain my phone had been fried by yesterday's lightning storm, only to have an associate (Sonja?) factory reset and explain to me the safety features that cause phones to shut off when they're overheated etc. Thank you! He was extremely knowledgeable and patient, since the store was closed, but he still managed to answer all my questions and showed me different phone options to choose from. On my last visit to your Verizon store representative name Kyle provided me with poor customer service, lack of profesionalism and bad manners. At one point Kyle slamed his tablet on the floor ignoring that coworkers and customers were around, him slamming his tablet showed some type of discontent when i and my family started to speak spanish. I would give zero stars if possible for the false information they provide and deceit that oozes from this store. Don't go here unless you want to pay substantially more for your bill than originally quoted because all she wants to do is make an extra buck. Watch out for trickery and entrapping monthly bill quotes when she estimates your monthly quote using a cheaper phone than you've already chosen to purchase, and being cheated out of promotional savings. BEWARE!! Do not shop at this location. Was sold a defective product. Spent hours on the phone with Verizon customer support and was told it was defective and to return it to the store. Instead of offering a replacement or to fix it, Verizon charged me a $40.00 restocking fee. I told them it was unethical to re-stock a defective phone just so the next person would have to deal with this. Their response was simply a shrug. If you shop here, consider yourself warned. DON'T COME HERE Everytime I walk in here I feel like 1. Everyone in there is angry both the customers and the staff 2. The staff is rude and constantly overwhelmed by the amount of people in the store. They are never smiling and rather seem to be scowling constantly. 3. It always feels like I have to watch my back and read the fine print 6 times because the staff is sketchy and they all seem to be desperate to sell certain things and make you feel stupid when you don't. I would agree to beware of this store. As a long time customer, I was treated like I was at fault. , a liar, and I feel manager Stephanies goal is to protect Verizon and sell phones, regardless of how that effects the customer. I have had 2 issues with her. I understand being loyal to your company but I also understand your company is made up of customers. Well the customer isn't always right but you have to have the intellectual wherewithal to look at the whole picture. I found her to be more concerned with her power than pleasing a customer-a love time, paying on time- good customer. She showed me how her store and "managerial ego and power" are way more important than her customer. Her recall,of our conversations changed over the course of time until it became a She said, she said conversation, where she seemed to want to make sure that she was correct as opposed to looking at the situation and looking at all the facts that pointed to either a slight misunderstanding or me perhaps the customer even being right. Why not support your customers (within reasonable limits) instead of needing to be right at all costs and losing customers for your company? If you want to keep customers treat them nicely, be kind, considerate and honest. Don't try to upsell everybody that walks in the door who doesn't need a new phone. Maybe this store is successful on some level because of the way they disregard their customers- but in the long run this is not a good store for customers or for Verizon. At the end of he day, I was able to make my voice heard after hours and several phone calls with corporate, and some rational and objective upper management, but many negative reviews here for this to be an isolated incident. read more

If I could give 0 stars i would. I went back to Verizon for the unlimited plan a month ago and wasn't told that in order to have the $45 unlimited plan you would have to have 4 lines. I only have one line and my phone bill for 2 months is 495 $$$ if I wasn't ripped off and cheated. Very poor customer service and ethics. read more
