She helped us navigate our way through the maze of TMobile departments. I rarely give low ratings so if I do you know it's bad! I was having phone issues and was told this particular location is a corporate store! Since I'm a former Sprint customer it's easier to get what I needed at a corporate store rather than just any old T-Mobile. Francisco needs to find another job. He's clearly not interested in working here! Very standoffish and unprofessional. I had to end up getting a new phone. He hands me the phone and I'm like, is that it? He said, "I guess you're in a hurry" oh wow. Horrible customer service. A customer walks in and another employee is on his phone and not paying attention. I had to tell him someone needed assistance! I am surprised to see that there are ANY low reviews for T-Mobile. I switched from Verizon 2 years ago and have been pretty happy with my service and delighted that by switching to T-Mobile, I have been saving scads of money. I have recently been experiencing loss of internet service and have been in contact with Tech Support at T-Mobile. They recommended that I switch out my router and arranged that I could pick up a new router at the T-Mobile Store at 11160 Viers Mill Rd Wheaton MD (in the mall). I was helped by a nice guy. When the problem was not fully solved, and company sent me an extender, I went in again and this time was helped by STEVEN P. He was SO helpful and willing to assist me -- even though I am not Techie. The first thing he asked was "are you sure we offer internet in your area." While this sounded like a weird question -- since i have had phone and internet with T-Mobile for 2 years --- the answer was NO. The area has been flooded and no longer has enough band width. The Extender did help but I do still encounter loss of service on occasion. STEVEN P was so nice and really wanted to solve my problem. I thank you for employing some with his expertise. The information on the T-Mobile website said this location was a participating location to return an Internet modem from T-Mobile. A young lady name Ellen inform me upon arrival that they don't take returns there. She then informed me that it would be easier for me to print out a label and ship it out myself. I was currently standing at the counter at the store with the item in hand. It would, of course be easier for me in reality to have her accept the item. I can only speculate she either didn't want to do her job or she wasn't trained Appropriately. read more

Not sure if it's a matter of an untrustworthy company or just the associate we had, Cesar. After leaving the store, I noticed that in addition to the price of the phone, there was a $20 fee for a "phone upgrade" on the receipt when we didn't get an upgrade- it was a first time phone purchase, so no previous phone to be upgraded from. Cesar never explained it or even mentioned it, just quietly added it on there. I called customer service and they confirmed it shouldn't have been on there, and applied it as a credit to the next bill. Later on that day I get a text from T-Mobile confirming that I'd signed up for the insurance plan. I never asked for, nor agreed to getting my new phone insured. The word "insurance" was never even mentioned at all while in the store with Cesar, not even once. I'm not sure if this is standard practice with T-Mobile, where they tack these on and you have to be the vigilant consumer to make sure you aren't paying for things you shouldn't be paying for. I quickly stopped in here on a T-Mobile Tuesday. That is when their app has all kinds of offers from $0.10 off per gallon of gas at Shell with Fuel Rewards to gift cards, contests, free T-Mobile merchandise and more! Today the freebie was a soft fuzzy travel blanket. I looked up the store location on the mall map and walked over to It. Less than 30 seconds after entering I received an warm welcome. There were two employees in the store and two satisfied customers being helped. As soon as I mentioned the promotional item the employee behind the counter grabbed one and handed it to me with a smile. He didn't even ask to see my app with the bar code open to scan it! The T-Mobile store at Wheaton mall is a little smaller than some other stores I've gone into. The displays of phones & accessories catch your eye when you enter. I took the time out of my day, drove to this store, and when I asked for some details on the plan, a young man told me, "we don't have any material on our plans, but if you go online..." And trailed off. So to be clear, I took the time to come to the store only to be told I would have to go home and check the website to get any details on what the plans entail...WTF? Worst costumer service ever! Waisted 2 hours from my life and wine about to sign the contract

I don't want anyone to visit this particular T-Mobile store in Wheaton Mall. The service they give to customers is very very very bad. They attract customers by saying there is a promotion. They charge the customers high bills. If we complain about the high bills, then they say that oh they say they are sorry they gave the wrong information about the promotion. they process the refund, but they don't want to refund 100%. I experienced this last month. They charged me more than $80.00 for the wrong promotion they did tell me. I went several times for a refund, but they say they couldn't. Mr. Edwin is an employee who advertised me by saying the promotion"there is add one line get the next line free". I have already 12 lines in my account. He said so, Then I accepted that promotion, but after two weeks the bill went to more than $150.00 instead of $25.00. Then I called the corporate office. After waiting hours, the associate talked to me. I explained everything. He said there is no promotion like that in the system. I was told to go to same store. I went there. The same guy Mr. Edwin reviewed everything; He couldn't find the promotion in the system he told me. He said sorry to me since he gave me the wrong promotion. He then processed a refund, but he said that he couldn't refund the restock fees since I took an old free phone from there. I asked him to refund everything, but he said the store wouldn't refund for restocking. I was very mad at that store. I was requesting my refund since the store gave me the wrong information, but they are not ready to refund me. So, I was obliged to write this review so that other people won't be victimized like me. Worst customer service I have ever recieved. Took over a week just to get a solution for a simple issue. Reps here are liars and cover for each other, even the manager, Linda. She was extremely rude, had a nasty attitude along with another manager (don't know his name), and was of no help whatsoever. The staff at this store were extremely helpful. It was a much better experience than other T-Mobile stores I've been to. The manager even helped me find additional discounts to lower my monthly costs. Great phone, and they threw in a free case. read more

I just stopped by there today, had 2 old school cell phones I got a deal on Craigslist that needed the Sim Cards switched over on both. I had called up T-Mobile at the 1-800 number and they had mistakenly told me I would have to pay for brand new SIM Cards, So one of the guys at the store spent less than 4 minutes and had them both up and running for me and didn't charge me a thing. How cool is that ? Highly recommended, a real gentleman. read more

I'm giving them 3 stars instead of two because I had gone to the store previously and the young person that helped me was very knowledgeable and courteous. The second time I went into the store (at about 7pm on Saturday), I was "helped" by another young guy who did not seem to have answers to my questions, but seemed to feign confidence....I guess it's being young. After I had paid, I had to ask him for a bag to put the box that I had just bought. It seemed quite rude, by that time I knew I would probably NOT be going back to that store for anything. read more

My family and I have been loyal contacted customers of T-Mobile for I think going on 16 years. I bought there z max the customer care associate raved about over the phone and was really happy with it until one day the speaker stopped working and it stopped holding it's charge very well. Well I bought insurance which I was also told would be a great idea. Ha!! I really want to change it because they are all about giving you refurbished phones. They are basically phones other people have returned for other reasons then they are supposedly fixed to there standards. My phone was new and had only a few problems. I was then told flat out to not bother with my insurance because they demanded a co pay. (Slick right) when I have a refurbished phone for about a month it has about 15 different things wrong with it not to mention the final straw was when the phone receives to be charged anymore. I used 5 different chargers and still can't get it on and it wouldn't even register the charge so all of my things are now locked on my phone and they're only option they gave us was a again a refurbished phone. I felt extremely underappreciated. After all those years of loyalty. I'm hurt by the treatment I received both in the store and by calling customer service. I'm disgusted with the fact that most cell phone companies are flooding the TV with their great values commercials they are offering and really they are willing to give free nice phone to first time customer. But once you are with them you or loyalty means nothing to them. Also staff was uninformed and rude. Unless however you are switching to them. read more
