**WARNING DON'T COME HERE** I own an iPhone 8 Plus and I cracked my screen. I went here to get it repaired. I got it fixed and I noticed my front camera was out of focus/blurry. I thought it was screen protector...it wasn't. I went back there and repair guy offered to put on a new screen. It was still out of focus/blurry. A few days past. I went there again for him to fix it. He told me he's getting brand new screens and he'll change it so dropped it off to him to put on a brand new screen. When I came back to pick up my phone, my front camera was still out of focus/blurry. He gave me the sorry excuse of him not having the parts to fix. Just like all of the other million people who came here, I can't say enough about how great the service and value are. They handle broken screens, water damage, nonfunctional buttons, and other repairs. The owner took time to listen to what happened to my phone and gave me his best estimate of success. In the end, he resurrected my phone and it is good as new! There's a $50 diagnostic fee, which was less than any other that I have seen. Keep in mind that that's nonrefundable, even if your phone can't be fixed. Mine was fixed. It's definitely worth trying for a repair rather than buying a new phone. read more

I went to get my cracked screen replaced. I asked if he could LOOK at my charging port because the charger fits loose. Picked up the phone and now the charger doesn't work at all. I called back and he said all he did was clean it but apparently he broke it too. Didn't offer any solution. Told me I need to replace the charging port but THEY DONT DO THAT. After repeated drops, my screen had no physical damage, but there were white vertical lines and half the screen was not working. I went to U-Mobile and Howard replaced my screen in under 30 minutes. However, a couple weeks later my screen started glitching so I returned to U-Mobile (there is a 60-day warranty). I went over to U.Mobile on Thursday to see how much it would cost to get my camera lens on my s5 fixed. Howard didn't have the part that day I came in, but said he would have it the next day or the following Monday. Fast forward to Friday, received a call from Howard that the part was there. It took about 20 minutes to fix my cell and it's good as new again. :) Very quick service, professional, and the price is pretty reasonable. Anyway, I waited a month or so to write a review because I wanted to make sure everything kept working well - and it has. I would have completely missed this place and never knew it existed if I hadn't seen flyers for it all over school. It's on Route 1, wedged in the same shopping center with the Ten Ren's, Potbellys, and where Yogiberry and Capital One both once were. There's a little sandwich board out front to keep you from missing it! Enter through that door, take the stairs, and it's the first thing on the right. You might walk up the stairs thinking it's a little sketch like I did, but the store was really bright, spacious, and clean. It looks brand, spankin new! My precious iPhone 6+ fell in the sink while I was doing dishes, and boom, IT WOULDN'T TURN ON ANYMORE! I agonized thinking about how much money it would cost to fix or replace. I rigorously shook the crap out of it and started kicking myself, trying to recall the last time I'd backed it up. I called around and U. Mobile offered the cheapest prices out of all the local stores. I'm a little wary of repair shops and have heard some horror stories about people's phones coming out worse than they came in. But desperate and broke times call for taking chances! So I came in, said a quick prayer and dropped it off with a super nice and reassuring guy named Howard. He said he saw the same kind of damage all the time, and that it shouldn't be too hard to fix. With my fingers crossed, I came back within a few hours and my baby had been resuscitated! Not only did my phone work perfectly, but Howard slapped on a brand new screen protector, free of charge. Outstanding and friendly service with reasonable prices. They also had a few used phones for sale, along with a decent selection of phone cases and accessories. About 2 weeks ago I contacted U- Mobile on Yelp and he repsonded so fast, like within 30 minutes fast. A cup of water had fell on my iPhone 6 and messed up my screen. The screen was faded and wouldn't respond to touch whatsoever. Nobody else would work on my phone because according to them I probabaly had to much water damage, corrosion etc. I brought my phone to him and he assessed the damage and replaced my screen and LCD for about $130 and gave me a discount on a glass screen protector. It took him about 30 minutes to finish working on my phone and he explained the entire process. I have had no problems with my screen or quality of his work. Great job! read more

This place was great! I accidentally cracked my daughters iPad and I didn't want her to know about it so I was able to drop the iPad off and pick it up the next day. Outstanding customer service. Went here once a few years ago; the service and product were great. I was told to watch out for issues with the IR sensor, which I didn't have the first time I went to U.Mobile. Fast forward to now, and I just had another screen replaced in which I am experiencing problems with the IR sensor (when I put the phone to my ear to talk the screen doesn't turn off, which kills the battery). When I returned to U.Mobile within the warranty period I was told there is a filter some of their "generic screens" don't have, and this is why the IR sensor doesn't work properly. I was then told they would not replace my screen. They said they can see when this filter is present, and when it isn't before the new screen is installed. I then asked this exact question: "So you charge everyone $70, but knowingly install a faulty product in some phones, and it's just luck of the draw I was an unlucky customer?" The employee with no explanation or any additional information simply just answered: "Yes" The guy that owns this place is nice & considerate, I haven't seen this kid before. I won't be going back. I'll pay the extra $20, and go to another place next time I need this service. read more

But then the fellow got more info on my symptoms and explained that for my iPhone 6 Plus, that I almost certainly had another problem called "touch disease" that he wouldn't be able to fix. He then went on to suggest a specific Virginia firm which could probably fix it, having done so for a few of his customers in the past. The colors are distinctly different from my previous screen quality. Some repair shops replace screens with original apple products for a premium and offer after-market products for less. Let me start by saying U Mobile did not work on my phone, I didn't even go into the shop. On April 20, I called to get an estimate for a repair. After asking repeatedly if I was a robot, the man on the phone then asked me personal questions and made a completely inappropriate comment to me. After I hung up because of the nature of his comments, he called me back to apologize, saying he had been getting robocalls and he thought I was a robot. Simply amazing service. Long story short I had a cracked iPhone 6s with some other damaged parts. Although I had to make multiple trips to the store due to lack of parts the customer service provided was good enough to oversee all that. Howard made sure that the repair worked and demonstrated that it worked before closing the phone.
