Before I went to the Verizon store in Great Neck, my experience with Verizon stores (including Manhassett) was characterized by waiting for a half hour to be acknowledged, rude staff, incorrect information from first technician requiring someone else to step in, and general disappointment. Last week I went to the Verizon store in Great Neck. The experience could not have been better. David is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. Switching to a new Samsung 24 phone (he carries iPhone and Android products) was effortless and smooth. David also advised us on which Verizon plan was best for us. I recommend that anyone having issues with Verizon equipment should go directly to the Great Neck store and save themselves a lot of time and aggravation. read more

verizon internet is ruining my life. Not only cant they give me enough wifi to let me watch youtube on my i pad ( which is my only device) but the people who answer the phone when you call to say you have no wifi ARE WORSE. I literally have to call every night to get a boost over the phone so I can watch a movie on my i pad, but I have to call usually 3 or 4 times because they hang up on me. They don't want to work or answer your question or help you. They just hang up. i am so sick of this and with their yearly increases, I believe I will be asking people to recommend a better provider. Stay away from this store at all costs. They will scam you into promotions that don't exist that include receiving devices that you would be paying full price for. All I wanted was to upgrade my phone and I ended up paying $300 more on my next bill, not including the actual payment for the upgraded phone. When I tried to return the device, they lied to me and told me that I only had 14 days to return it when Verizon confirmed that I have 30 days to return and in some cases, up to 60 days in total. This is an authorized retailer. Not a true corporate store. Remember, they operate differently. BEWARE! read more

I came to this location in hope of switching carriers - walked in during the afternoon to an older gentleman on the phone. The store was empty. He nodded at me and continued with his conversation for the next 5 minutes. As he was hanging up the phone, a woman came out of the back and sits at the table, I realized he must be helping her - thats ok! What's not ok is he never said one word to me hahaha he turned his back to continue helping her so I left and won't be back! A "how can I help you today?" "Can you give me 30 minutes to wrap up with this customer" would've helped. read more

This Verizon store is a convenient place to go for phone needs and services if you live locally. The staff is technically skilled and they know what they are doing. They've helped me multiple times over the past few years, whether it be with getting a new phone or troubleshooting. They also usually have the popular phones themselves so I like that they give their own personal feedback. It can get very crowded though, so getting help usually takes soooo long. read more

Free backpack giveaway *FAILED*. The sign said they don't open at all on Saturday when they are suppose to give out the backpacks. When we are about to leave the finally opened. Then they only have 30 packs when they are suppose to have 200. Only about ten people got it. One parent brought 6 kids with her. Probably about 60 kids left disappointed. Thumbs down to Verizon wireless for this scam. Big waste of time. Don't trust any of these free giveaway BS. This time they have to drag kids down with them. Terrible! read more

I have had many opportunities to switch to another phone carrier or to go to other Verizon stores, but this one has had my loyalty for years because of the kind intelligent efficiency of the man behind the counter -- David -- and his amiable informed staff. I won't go anywhere else. I've chosen to use this store because the service is personable and human(e), and I've gotten patient answers to any question, no matter how silly-sounding. I note that some other reviewers have complained that the line can be long. I doubt that they would complain that way about, say, Shake Shack, or a popular movie: the long lines are evidence of expertise and the best customer relations. I won't go anywhere else, and if you come in and the place is crowded, ask David for a good hour and day to come back, and you will get a straight answer. Unless your smartphone is on fire, it's worth coming back to this store a few hours later: you won't regret the old-fashioned friendly approach that you get here. read more

Terrible experience at this place, I would avoid this store at all costs and go to the manhasset Verizon store. If the owner david is not there then god help you, there is no organization, or leadership from his staff, it'll be a free for all for getting service from his unprofessional staff especially, the Tina who made rude comments quietly under her breath while I stood in this store for nearly 2 hours just to have my old phone backed up onto my new phone, something that should have taken 30mins tops. read more

Went In there to buy a iphone 6 After running my credit on verizon site the day before and it said no deposit. This guy tried to charge me 150 deposit per line. Went to the corporate store no deposit. Verizon Wireless is currently investigating this There is no way I should have had to pay deposit. read more
