The people who work here are absolute thieves and I am considering filing a dispute through small claims court. I paid over $400 for them to replace a screen for me that only lasted two months before it stopped working. Although they proudly state that they offer a 180 day warranty, they refused to fix the screen that they either installed incorrectly or was defected. I'm Emily. I have the record in the store. The week before last I went to the store for repairing my phone because the phone accidentally got into water and didn't work. A staff at the store told me it would be ready before 2:30pm. I told him I had to go to work and would pick it up in two days. But when I went to the store for picking up my phone, a stuff told me my phone's problem became complicated and it was sent to lab for diagnosis. I asked how long would it take and he said I would get result the next day and he would call me. I waited and didn't got any call or message. So I went to store the next day. A staff showed me my phone saying they got the phone back from lab and they were waiting for parts. I told him I had already bought a new phone and I was trading this phone for $500 and it would expire at the end of that week. He told me it should be ready in two or three days and he was insure he would send me message or call me. Again I didn't receive any messages or phone calls. Since I was busy with work, I asked my hubby to go to the store to see what happened.  A staff told my hubby my phone was sent to the lab. Lab again? I was totally tired of this and I lost trust in this store. So I asked the phone back without repairing. I waited for another two days and finally got my phone. When a staff put my phone on my hand, I found the phone was taped everywhere. I asked the staff to remove those tapes. He ruined my screen protector when he forcefully got rid of the glue of the tapes. In the meantime, the trade-in date was expired. Every time I went to the store l met different staff. When I asked about my phone status, they said they have no idea about it and it took a long time for them to reach another staff to ask. I'm So so disappointed about the service offered by this store. Another day I went to a store named "Ubreakifix" at Port Jefferson. A staff told me they would call me the next day. The customer service is exceptional! I dropped my phone a long time ago and never bothered to fix it since it was a small crack. It finally started spreading and made it difficult to use. Brought my phone in last year due to a cracked rear camera lens cover on my Galaxy S6. The guy told me they would have to order the part, and gave me a price of $40+, which sounded to me as though they were replacing the whole lens, since I haf found replacement covers (with a tool kit) for under $12 online. I waited over a week for the part. I left my phone with them for a couple hours (no big deal there). Had to bring it back in the next day because the cover fell off. Had to wait over 30 minutes for someone to apply new adhesive. Now, less than a year later, dust and dirt is making its way under the glass, so my camera is useless for anything other than casual photos, and I am not a casual photographer. I will never go to this store. I went there with my computer, the keyboard was broken. I was told there may be a chance they could not get the parts necessary for the fix. They would try. They told me to leave the deposit and if they were unable to get the part they would return it to me. It was $10.00. Well, they were not able to fix the computer, they refused to return the $10.00 which apparently is a nonrefundable deposit. Live and learn, never believe what people tell you. I would never have given them money like that if I knew beforehand. I tried to explain and they were difficult and defensive. The person I worked with originally was not there anymore, it was like a big scam. I will never go there or refer anybody I know to go there. This review starts in one location and ends at the Centereach location Both places were awful I walked in about 40 minutes before they closed at the Commack location and dropped off my phone the man behind the counter said it would be ready in about a half hour, so I came back and waited for another 20 minutes after they were supposed to close.but I got the phone back with a new screen and everything was fine...... For about 15-20 minutes until I got home when I went to turn my phone on it was dead unresponsive no dead battery screens wouldn't turn on. So I took the phone back then next day the same guy was there he said he'd open it up take a look and give me a call back Never got the call back. So I called them the next day the guy was completely lost as to why the phone wasn't working at all and said he had to send it out, this was another waiting game and took longer I had to track them down again by phone. So whoever they sent it out to same thing, "They've never seen anything like it before" I was refunded the $119 and given back a broken phone with no screen so I took it to the ifixscreens "corporate headquarters" (the Centereach location) where I talked to the manager who needed a cigarette before he "helped me" and talked to me outside while he puffed away.... Eventually he called the Commack store to get "his side of the story" which was I dropped the phone off in "terrible condition and was ran over with a truck" Not what happened at all..... But what really bothered me was how every phone conversation was done in another language or in the back room very secretively. I was also told because the phone left the initial location of repair and was working that they did their job and that there's nothing that they have to do for me. I suggested that I don't care about whats on the phone anymore I just want my Iphone7 back and having already talked to my carrier I found out that my upgrade would be way less then a new phone I said just give me a check for that make it out to my carrier. He can't do that without talking to this "Franchise Owner" who is impossible to get into contact with So now they still have my phone since august 27 because they wanted to try to fix it again I haven't heard a peep since not an email a call or anything I've been calling them apparently anyone who knows anything doesn't come in until 5 or something. I've been calling them all day and not getting any answers or they just won't answer. Eventually you get through because they rarely call back and it turns out they sent it out yesterday!!! SEPTEMBER 4th!!!! They've had my phone since AUGUST 27th!!!! I get excuse after excuse with these people and no updates I just want a phone back that works at this point I'm using an old iphone 5 that barely works just to get by I wouldn't go to them ever again. I see all these great reviews fore great customer service and quality work and I haven't seen a lick of it other then the employees being polite, careless and unprofessional but polite!!! They did a quick but not cheap job on my phone. $162 to fix the shattered glass only screen on my iphone6. I hate that they did not have a price list anywhere and the 26 year old boy doing the repairs and running the shop seemed to just come up with the number. I asked about the $10 off and they said it was already included, seemed kind of sketchy to me. But in the spirit of getting in and out of their quickly and having a working phone, I just did what I felt I had to do. The boy was also a little inappropriate in his 'small talk' with me. I felt uncomfortable actually. I was polite but I wasn't really thrilled with being told I had a nice body or pretty eyes when my phone was in his hand in like 20 pieces. Soooo... I don't know. Staff was pleasant enough and helpful. My phone had lasted 4 years before I needed to replace the screen. I asked if the replacement screen would be OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). I was told yes, but for some reason it took the store a full seven days to get the part in. The repair was made quickly, but within three days the screen was broken. To be fair, the phone fell out of my pocket and broke, which according to the store is not covered by the warranty, i.e. owner negligence is not covered. This is a bit fishy considering it was three days out of repair. You'll pay less for repairs here, but I think this is because they are getting inferior parts (not OEM) from China, which explains the lengthy delivery time. I've had to go and buy a new phone, so overall a complete waste of money. read more

They gave me date it would be ready, I showed up to the store and it wasn't ready. The next day I called the store and it was still not ready, once it took them about a week to fix, they had scratched up the sides of my iPad mini. When I asked why was it all scratched up he said it was done me me using it. Which was a lie since I had it in my possession I had put a case on it. They had put the screen with a black dome on the center, and the home button all crooked. I found this company on line and made an online order, I paid and sent my device to them for what they promised as same day service. After a few days of not hearing from anyone I called and was told that they needed to order the part, one week. One week later I called and they say its more than double what I paid on their website and that they had not updated the prices. They offered to send it back and credit my account. They sent it back and never credited my account. They may have good walk in service on simple jobs but for online business for a device beyond a simple phone, I would stay as far away as you can get. read more

Got my phone fixed here last week. When I push my home button or the bottom part of the screen you can see it pushing down on the LCD screen. It makes the screen go crazy. Also now I can only use my phone on speaker, if not it sounds like I'm under water, and the person on the other end can't hear me. Will never go back. read more

Great business here in Centereach. I bought a replacement screen/digitizer on eBay, and wound up mangling the digitizer connector and the corresponding connector on the phone's motherboard. I brought it to iFixScreens in Centereach, and they were able to replace my screen, and re-solder a replacement motherboard connector for me, all at a very reasonable price, and in a very expeditious manner. Just interested in helping out others to know that they may need to consider another company to help them out when needing service. This info is from a family member of mine! STill have not received my phone back that ifixscreens stole almost 3 months ago, so as promised..... to Joe.cue Hi Joe. I am the one who commented on FB about my phone being stolen. To summarize, I had a brand new iphone 5s ( 1st new smart phone I have ever had) I switched services and needed it unlocked. My husband then took the phone to the centereach location and dropped off with Joe with the commitment that it would be ready in a week. A week passes and no one contacts us. We call to inquire about the status of the phone and are informed that Joe no longer works there and Muhammad was handling our phone. Muhammad let is know that would be ready in a couple more days. He also proposed the option of us letting him keep our phone, and instead, be given a different iPhone that was already unlocked. WE denied this offer and informed him that we were not interested and simply wanted our phone back if could not be unlocked. He assured us that he could. 1.5 week more weeks pass and we never hear from Muhammad. As usual, we have to track down an IFixscreens employee and ask about our phone. At this point, we can no longer reach Muhammad because he has stopped answering our calls. Coincidentally, everytime we speak with a different employee, they are able to contact and speak with Muhammad and tell us that Muhammad promises to have the phone at the centereach location the next day. Over the next 7 weeks, this happens 5 more times. Each time, we are told by either Tito, Ish, Lennox, Nick, or Carlos that Muhammad guaranteed that our phone would be present at one of several locations the next time. Each time, out phone was not there as promised and no employee or manager could account for the whereabouts. Most recently, I spoke with Ish in person at the lake grove Kiosk. I dragged my 4 kids out in the rain to have a face to face. I informed Ish that this is left and I would not think twice to contact news and pursue this matter legally. Ish gave me "his word" that it would be in centereach the next evening. Guess what, once again my phone was not there. When questioned, Ish said he couldn't understand and that Muhammad stopped returning his calls and concurred that the whole thing seemed very diabolical and suspicious. I understand that this is a franchise but I also have it on good authority that you all communicate, share customers, and do business together. There needs to be some retribution and accountability. It is unfortunate if this matter does not concern you personally, but I have full faith that you will handle this matter with your peers, if not for the sake of ethics, then for the sake of your own reputation and credibility. If there is no acceptable resolution, I will copy and paste this correspondence on not only my FB page, but the IFixscreens page...repeatedly....everyday...until I die. ----------- read more
