5 stars were given solely on the service I received today from Marqueal. I called at 10:02 a little after the store opened, I didn't get the persons name who answered but she set the tone. I asked if they any 16 Pros and stock, after being placed on hold she stated yes. I said I'd be there in 30 minutes. She then stated we only have a limited amounts of the phone.. I then reminded I said I'd be there in 30 minutes. She said I can't guarantee they'll be here. I showed up to the store at 10:37. I didn't like the tone or sense of urgency of the employee. That was the drive time it would take and I couldn't get in any faster. One conversation and expressing my frustration Marqueal said I'll handle this for you! He took time helping me through the app to order a new phone, he was even able to up sale me on merchandise that I other wise would've got off of Amazon. He step up my other phone and transferred all my information over to my new phone. He was such a breeze to work with, he was knowledgeable and had answers to all of questions and concerns. I'm still considering transferring service providers but at the moment I am satisfied with the my customer service. read more

It shouldn't take over three hours to get an upgraded phone. They couldn't transfer the data on our old phone for some reason. Not enough employees to handle the crowd. Took over a half hour just to start getting help even though they said it would be ten minutes, and it was over 30 minutes. I never want to go back to this store ever again. T-Mobile performs radical updates to their equipment, without informing their customers, knocking features of a phone offline, until you replace your phone with a newer model. This, of course, always happens at the most inopportune times possible. To make matters worse, T-Mobile's customer service is staffed with unskilled operators reading off troubleshooting menus, who have very heavy accents, to the point whereas you are constantly asking them to repeat themselves. On 09/03/20, I went into this T-Mobile store on Charleston and Decatur, near Walmart to upgrade my phone, and add a new line after seeing a BOGO sale on iPhone 11 among many other phones. I was "helped" by Paola, who was very rude. We had a scheduled APPT with her. As she pointed out, she noticed when I arrived; but instead waited about 15-20 minutes to assist me. After the security verification, she proceeded with my transaction to purchase two iPhones. To be safe, I asked her about the sale that was advertised, to make sure I qualified; because she had made no mention of it. She took a look into her PDF file, and advised me the BOGO sale had ended a few days prior. She told me I would have to trade in an older phone, to receive a credit for a new phone. I was instantly confused because the advertisement was on the website (and still is), and I showed her. She read the banner on the T-Mobile website in its entirety (including small text) and confirmed that no trade in was required, nor was it expired. I also added that I spoke to a T-Mobile CS rep before coming into the store, and was advised that the deal is still active and was even offered assistance placing an order. Paola's response was "I'm sorry, but our Customer Service reps don't always know what they're talking about. I can guarantee you that if you buy two phones right now, you won't get one for free." I was flabbergasted. Paola never offered to check with a manager, or even consider that maybe she was wrong. Her body language made it obvious that she was hoping to get me out of the door ASAP. Unfortunately, I required my upgrade for work, and could not wait. I was forced to purchase a single phone in store. I immediately contacted T-Mobile customer service to verify the validity of the banner on their site. The rep saw my account and verified that it was real, and I was eligible. This rep helped me place an order for the new line. In the end, I still got both phones; but due to the ignorance of the store rep, I had to pay for shipping and wait for the second phone. Unfortunately, Paola provided a very low quality service to me, and ultimately made me lose valuable time and money. I would never have gone into the T-Mobile store without prior verification of the sale I was interested in. It was my mistake to not ask for a manager while I was there, but I hope this makes it to them and disciplinary action is taken. Employees that don't have the customers best interest at heart, do not have the corporations best interest at heart and cause damage to the brand image on the front lines. I should not have to automatically assume I will be treated as "less than" when entering a T-Mobile store, or anywhere. read more

If I could give zero stars to this location I definitely would. Not only is this place constantly overcrowded and staffed with idiots, what's worse is when these idiots believe that they're smart. What made things worse is when I bring my SERVICE DOG & the girl comes running to the door as I'm about to walk in & says I can't enter if my dog doesn't have a "service dog" vest on because that's how they can identify if a dog is a service dog or not. I had to repeat this to her so that she can hear how ridiculous it sounded . If I have a service dog vest on my dog, then that means with 100% certainty that my dog is in fact, a service dog? This is ridiculous because anyone can buy a vest or a Velcro patch that says service dog. However, I know ignorance is bliss so I'm going to write this off it's just something ignorant. Was in need of new phones and Gilbert made the transaction from Verizon to T Mobile very smooth. The savings plus the great service and attention to detail made it an even better experience. Staff wearing masks and disinfecting a plus and must during COVID. One of the phones I wanted wasn't available but within days Gilbert had it ship to my house. She offhand mentioned staying apart to us while she was on the sales floor and we were still standing by the entrance mat. Then refused to listen to the rest of our question, handed us off to a different employee. She said "you can handle them, I'm going to the back" and hid. The employee that helped us out, I want to say his name was Guillermo but I am unsure, was very nice and addressed our concerns. We quickly left with his help. Props to him. They were running a promo for 2lines for $55 for those over 65. Kenesha Brown (sales) told us that we would get 2 new phones that the company would pay off thru credits over a 24 month promo costing us nothing. Of course we jumped on it. $55 a month, never to go any higher. Then the shell game started. We checked our credit card statement over the phone that first weekend and T-MOBILE had already dinged us for $255 for the new phones. When we called the Co. they told us that Kenesha Brown (sales) gave us the wrong info, that we had to pay for the phones up front, that we were not going to pay $55 @ month but $64 per. The Company told us to go back to the store, nothing that they could do over the phone and talk to Kenesha Brown (sales). But she (Kenesha Brown (sales)) was in training for 10 days so she pawned us over to her management team who came up with their own storyline saying there was nothing that they could do, we had to take it up with Corporate. I was referred by Mee to come switch over from Verizon. She saved us soooo much money it's unreal. We went on Saturday at 10am so right when they opened. We were scheduled with someone but they had an emergency and was not going to be in until later. That's completely cool cause we all know things happen. Started off 15 minutes later with another tech, it was a lady with purple nails (sorry i didn't catch her name!!!). Then was passed onto Marco. Lemme just say Marco is super awesome and his customer service was amazing. He set us up with everything in about an hour and explained everything in great detail. The other lady was handling a more difficult customer and she did amazing with them and was very patient. Store picked up in traffic and they were working well together, with a trainee, to get everyone helped in a timely manner. This store rocks! The store was pretty busy as usual, all I wanted to do was go in look at the size of the phone that I was thinking about and u have an employee standing in front of a display of phones closing a deal and of course they r standing right in front of the phone I want to look at. The employee w/three men going over the contract. In my opinion if u already have a sale u better he getting out of the way for other customers to take a look at the phones so they can get ready to buy a phone or they r moving on to another store where they can get the help they want and see the phones they want. After standing on the side of the employee and the people trying to purchase the phone they moved I looked and walked out. If I want something I'll get it on line then I know I will be taken care of and not treated like I am invisible. There were 3 other workers hanging out in the back room, not helping anyone. I stood waiting for 20 minutes and not a single transaction was completed. No sense of urgency at all and poor time management. There were several who just wanted to make a payment....they should at least designate one person to take care of this simple transaction.
