After waiting for 20 minutes, the manager began to help someone who had walked in after I had arrived. I politely interrupted and informed Mike that I had arrived long before this customer he was helping. However, Mike did not seem to care and told me to " wait, and he would be with me shortly". After another 10 minutes passed, Mike H. finally turned his attention to me. I explained I was there to add an international calling plan as I was traveling out of the country for approximately 18 days. After allowing him access to my account, he refused to help me as the account is listed under my daughter and son in law at the same address as mine. HE REFUSED TO CONTACT MY DAUGHTER TO ASK PERMISSION TO ALLOW THIS TRANSACTION. I explained to Mike that on several occasions when I have visited this store for this same request, the service person contacted my daughter for authorization and completed my request. Mike told me that my daughter had to call Customer Service to complete my request! THAT's ODD- I THOUGHT MIKE REPRESENTED CUSTOMER SERVICE! I believe Mike was very rude (borderline belligerent ) to me and would never go back to this store again. I returned home and completed the transaction on the phone with a very pleasant agent. You have to wander around the store and hope you stumble upon what you are looking for. Yes, there are signs, but under what category do you shelf a 'ring light' for example? But Luca (hope I spelled it right) was working the printing services area. I picked up my posters and I had asked him how much would he charge to laminate my uncle's obituary card, he quickly grabbed it and took care of it. I really appreciated how he handled it with care and told me don't worry about the cost that he would take care of it, this means so much to me as this is important to me and I didn't want it to be damaged. Luca was very sweet and left a lasting impression on me. I really hope Luca gets some praise for making my day and for being so kind, but also being a great employee. Making sure I loved the posters and showing them to me and also doing that favor for me with my uncle's obituary. Lucas customer service was on point and I appreciate it so much. They specialize in cases for your electronics and are extremely helpful and friendly. What is neat is that they have "blank" cell phone cases and the machine allows them to print whatever picture you want onto the case to personalize your phone. However, the store attendant was very helpful and explained that buying an expensive charging case might not be the best investment as if I were ever to change my phone model then my charging case would be useless. Instead, the very attentive and gracious store manager showed me the extensive collection of portable phone chargers they carried, which were all on sale! I ended up purchasing a $60 model for only $30 in addition to a brand new case and screen protector for my phone, both of which the manager kindly installed for me for free. And because I bought so much, the manager threw in a second free portable charger as well! I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for any phone accessories or cases in the Providence area. Some of their products are on the pricier side, but they have a wide selection, the employees are helpful and they do have sales. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchases.
