Okay kids. Long story, and I will make it short as possible. 1) Glenn serves me and Dad. I am trying to port my old number into our family circle. Glenn doesn't add me to the account, when he totally could have, and should have said, "Hey, in case you have trouble later, you should be added to this account." Fail #1. Glenn also fails to tell me that my attempt to port number in was denied. I don't find out until THREE DAYS late I go to ANOTHER T-Mobile store. Glenn, dude, just tell me that it is NOT accepting the match between my account # and my PIN. (Verizon gave me an incomplete account number....TWICE...so it wasn't actually T-Mobile's fault, fyi.) In sum, I feel bad for the number of customers Pittsburg/Glenn are servicing (the line was long) and you were super friendly, but you DO need to tell me if something isn't working, and you should cut it off at the pass an anticipate troubled waters ahead. I would give this T-mobile store (and T-mobile, in general) 0 stars if possible. I would give them negative stars, if that were humanely possible. ***BEWARE***T-MOBILE IS A BUNCH OF CROOKS*** This store is garbage. It is filled with workers who don't know what they are talking about or doing, and they are liars, to boot. I went to this store in September of 2011 to get on a family plan with my then fiance, and to cancel my "month to month" plan. It seemed simple enough; I paid off the balance of the phone (around $300), switched my number over to his plan, and that was that. They informed me that I would be receiving one last bill for the old plan sometime in the next month, and then it would be cancelled. Seems easy and simple, right? Wrong. I did received the last bill, for $80-something, and paid it. We went about our merry way. About a year later, I started receiving collection calls claiming that I owed T-mobile $686?! BULLSHIT. I tried calling customer service; they claimed that they don't keep records past 6 months? Really?! You are a very large cell phone carrier, and you don't keep digital records past 6 months? Mmhmm. Then the story changed, they claimed that I still owed money on the phone, and I owed a $250 fee for "cancelling my plan". I asked how I would owe a fee if I didn't have a contract, wasn't that the point of a "month to month" plan? I also tried calling the store, stating that I had my credit card statement where I paid off the phone, trying to get a straight answer out of someone on how I could owe a cancellation fee on a month to month plan that involved no contract. I got no answers. Fast forward to now. My husband got tired of the run around and arguing with people on the phone so we are "settling" with T-mobile for the low price of $273. When we really didn't owe them a dime. I will never ever use T-mobile again, and I will tell this story to everyone I meet to warn them not to give their money to these crooks. read more

So I'll try to keep this short. Maybe I didn't read as far into it as I should have. The employees were very polite each time we came in. Switched from Verizon because I needed unlimited data. Biggest issue is that I was told that I was getting my two phones on an installment financing plan. Great. I'll make payments on the phones and they will be mine at the end of the process. Well, I found out now that I have apparently been leasing the phones and will either have to turn them back in at the end of 18 months or pay an extra $150 or so each in the end to keep them. It was very thoroughly explained to me both times ( went in and financed two different phones a couple months apart) by two different sales associates, that I was financing the phones and once the installments were paid they were all mine. I don't know if these two were misinformed, or hell, maybe they get higher commission rates on the leasing option, but I feel as though I was taken advantage of. Voiced my complaints to T-mobile through their customer service chat online and was told that I had 2 options. One: Pay off the phones and at the end of the lease pay $300 to buyout the phones. Which basically would cost an extra 25-40% with installment charges etc.. Two: Return the 'leased' phones at the end of 18 months and then finance two more phones through the EIF(Equipment Installation Plan) I was assured I was being put on Originally. In essence pay for 4+ phones and eventually own 2. I explained my situation and asked if there was any way to switch my phones from the leasing program to just being financed and was told "No. Will there be anything else?" I would definitely be very very cautious with any T-Mobile salesman or woman and would highly recommend you make absolutely sure that if you are trying to finance an phone they put you on the EIF plan and don't mislead you into the JUMP! plan. I will never be back in this store as I feel as though I have been swindled out of quite a bit of my hard earned money. read more

I forget his name but he explained jack shit and told me I could return my old phone via shipping label. I never got that shipping label in my email and I found this odd so I told William. I took my mother into T Mobile on Century Blvd. in Antioch so that she could get help with setting up her new iPhone coming previously from Android. We waited for about 30 minutes and then a young man if I had to guess he was in his early twenties he looked mixed, short hair cut he may have had green or light brown eyes. He called my mothers name and approached us. He did not greet us he looked as if he was irritated or not having a great day, not very friendly. My mother had concerns about her pictures being transferred over to her new phone. My mother is not very phone savvy. She asked him questions about her pictures being transferred over. He began to switch the service over my mother said something like can you talk me through things step by step because I've never been an Apple user. He said let me switch the service over and then I'll explain. And I noticed that he wasn't very nice I could tell that he didn't like the fact that he had to keep explaining how Apple works and how Android and Apple has a different operating system. He was irritable my mother had to ask him to lower his voice. I didn't like his attitude, you don't treat people like they're bothering you when you work in customer service. If you don't like talking to people or helping people you shouldn't work in customer service. I've worked in customer service for 11 years, even if I didn't like something I would never show it. I didn't like how he treated my mother. His customer service was pretty bad. His manager was decent but the quality of the staff was not there so that reflects his store as a whole. My mother was disappointed that should didn't get her service switched over to her new phone and that he wasn't very nice to her. That makes me feel bad because the customer service was trash and my mother feels bad. I probably won't come back to this location anytime soon. And like always I will always tell others. read more

I hate going to the phone store because workers dont understand what we ask, so then they have to call their manager or tell us to call customer service.. but he knew exactly how to do his job. He was energetic and patient and you just knew he really wanted to help resolve our very much complex issue. He's also a manager I believe he was a manger as well , any ways it was busy as heck it's the day after Black Friday what did I expect! But as we waited for a available computer Joel kept professional conversation with me, showed me a few other products including the 0$ down tablet which I defiantly jumped on, because we knew what phone I wanted he helped me pick out some reasonable priced phone cases, shortly after it was our turn, he made my transaction & my upgrade a walk in the park although the systems glitched he quickly called customer care and handled my problem, him and Leo work very well together as he handled that for me he had Leo get my gadgets and set them up and I was out of there with all smiles thanks to these two!!!! T-Mobile - Horrible - Mobile Phones Near Me - Pittsburg, California

I have been a loyal T-Mobile customer for 6 years. The associates here are very unprofessional, unknowlegeable about selling phones and don't care about customer service. Initially the sales associate at this particular t-mobile sold me a phone under false pretenses I'm guessing to get a nice commission check. I was not told by the associate that I was signing up for monthly installments to pay for my phone. Then he told me that I would receive a $200 rebate, but he entered my information incorrectly and the rebate was denied. After being on the phone with t-moble's rebate customer service and then the loyal customer service for just shy of an hr and a half I was told that if I could provide documentation that the information the associate entered was incorrect I could go back to the store and resolve the issue. I found the receipt and went to the store. Sydney B was assisting me and Lawrence was next to her the entire time. She attempted to assist me but really wasn't in the mood to. I asked if the associate who'd helped me 3 months prior was in and she said she didn't know who it was eventhough his ID number was on the receipt. I was on hold with the rebate center when I walked in and after being on hold for about 15 minutes Sydney told me that she was being tranferred to the rebate center from customer service so I could hang up. 20 minutes later after making several comments to Lawrence about being on hold for so long, Sydney told me that she couldn't be on hold all day and needed to help customers. When I walked in there were no other customers and while I was there 2 people who were together walked in and Lawrence assisted them. I was the only customer in the store when Sydney made the comment, so I'm not sure what invisible customers she wanted to help. I expressed that I was on hold prior to her being on hold and that I hung up because she told me to, so she couldn't just hang up the phone. She sighed and then several seconds later a rep answered her call. Thank God. Since I'd already spoken to a supervisor a few hours prior, I asked Sydney if she could ask the rep to transfer her to the supervisor that I spoke with. She handed me the phone and I asked the rep if I could be transferred to the supervisor I spoke to earlier. I then proceeded to tell the rep my situation and Sydney said, "I could have done that if you would let me do my job". I reminded her that she handed me the phone to speak to the rep. I didn't ask to speak to him. Sydney then began making comments about she "definitely" needed to go to lunch now. She continued to sigh and leaned against the counter with her arms folded. I told her this was her job and to please not to act as if I was stressing her out. Sydney proceeded to tell me how she hadn't eaten all day and had been at work for 4 hours as if any of that was my concern. Lawrence was standing next to her the entire time and didn't offer to help or take over and there was another gentleman in the back walking round that could have taken over. She then said I was rude. This took me completely by surprise because I'm not a rude person and hadn't done anything offensive to her. She had an attitude with me and was saying smart aleck remarks. I didn't have a bad attitude. I asked Sydney how I was rude to her. She didn't reply. I pointed out that I hadn't raised my voice at her, I didn't call her out her name or say anything disrespectful to her. Sydney told me there were "other ways" to be rude and then told me to get back to my conversation with the person I was on the phone with. Lawrence then begin showing her something on one of the phones and they both laughed. The rep on the phone handled my issue. read more

So all cell phone companies have long wait times and long transactions, that's just truck nature of the beast. Came I'm to switch my phone and tablet from Verizon, had about a 15 or 20 min wait and was helped by Charles. My normal cell phone company rating is never higher than two stars but he was super helpful and knew what he was talking about. Service is meh, it's pretty fast but coverage is not as vast as Verizon for sure. Loving the price, and I will return to Charles in the future read more

Came in here to purchase an Iphone 8 and 8X over 3 months ago, buy one iPhone get one free, that obviously includes a trade and a port, which we did. The second phone doesn't come free, you'll be receiving a gift card in the mail after the first monthly payment is paid... or that's we were told until I called Tmobile corporate today regarding my $700 gift card which I still haven't received. I was told that all The necessary paperwork for the rebate or gift card "that is" would be taken care of at the store by our sales rep but obviously that didn't happen.... t-Mobile corporate told us there was no submission for a gift card or rebate in fact, that deal has expired. WT_, are you kidding me!!! I certainly got the situation resolved with corporate after a long, long discussion (let's see) and they are mailing me a gift card for $700 but I certainly will never go back to this store since the sales rep gave us incorrect information or didn't even care at all. read more

So I came to this store early this month in search of a new phone. I had to replace my old phone because the darn thing kept breaking down on me!!! Seriously, I was soooo through with Blackberry....so anyhow...I came in there with a phone I had gotten from an outside retailer and the sales associate Chris helped me out with trying to get the phone to work. Short of it, the phone was crap (after Chris spent mucho time in trying to get this thing to work). I got my money back and came back to Chris. He was very helpful and got me to buy a brand new Samsung Exhibit II which I am loving (btw, I am anti-touch screens). So yea...a few weeks pass and this new phone acts up on me and I had to go back to the store to exchange it for a new one. Instead of Chris, CARLOS helped me out and hooked me up with some good info. I was a long costumer at this t-mobile store and one day I walk in there to bu a phone and I told the sale rep Oscar that I wanted to add line to my account but I did not want a 2year contract wit that line so then oscar said okay . a month later I ported out of T-mobile and came to find out that the sale rep sing me up for 2years contract so when I when back to the store they ass manager and some other loser rep that said im training to be a manager acted like dicks and said no ur stuck wit the contracts and we are not canceling them to make u happy so I ask for the store manager and they said his not there and kept giving me the run around and when I talk to the store manager he said he can't do anything that I ha to talk to costumer service and costumer service said I had to talk to the store manager T mobile has lost there costumer service. I refuse to come to this location even it is the closest one to where I live. First off I came here last month trying to upgrade from my broken phone to a new one and they told me it should be ZERO down payment if I waited one more month...So I wait that month I come in again and I am told that I have to pay a deductible because my phone is broken. I was never told about any deductible before. So the girl gives me the number to call the insurance and that I can't upgrade right then in there that I have to call and ask to upgrade and what not. So I call the insurance and they say they can send me the same phone and about upgrading I have to call T-Mobile. So that's exactly what I do I call and ask why I'm being told different bs from everyone and what is the right thing to do. He says that I was told wrong from the ppl in store that I could have in fact upgraded in store that they just have to call and bla bla and that if I wanted to I could cancel my current order and go back and tell them they can upgrade me that moment. Instead I had to wait for my new phone through the mail then bring that in and trade it for the upgrade. Really annoying. Employees should all be on the same page and make sure they are telling customers the right thing. Wasted my time and gas coming there.
