The T-Mobile store located at 3167 Route 9 in Rio Grande, NJ, provides dreadful customer service. I needed some information before I went to the store, which proved impossible; after several attempts, they refused to answer the phone. I have even let the phone ring for 3 minutes straight, and still I was ignored. On the occasions I have gone to the store, customer service has been horrible. Read Patricia R's review! I fell for the free iPad as Patricia R. and I agree with her that it was all a scam! I returned to the store immediately, but they refused to take the iPad back! I went home and called T-Mobile's main #. I was told to go straight back to the store, and they would have alerted them to take back the iPad and cancel all monthly fees associated with it. Left Verizon for T Mobile 5G home internet. I was waited on quickly. They set up everything in the store for me, all i had to do was take the device home and plug it in. Took about 20 min. I had great service with no issues. read more

This store is bad news. Manager gave me free phone with trade in also an iPad and a case and pop socket said it was all free with promotion. Lies lies lies now my bill went from 70.00 a month to 212.00 I knew I had to pay 20.00. For iPad internet service but supposed to get the rest free. No one answers the phone and I am out of state. We went to the Metro in Rio Grande when I was trying to replace my phone and to see about getting a new phone. The person in there was a terrible and did not even ask if he could help. He was so unprofessional and didn't tell us what promotions they had going on or explain the phones they had there. He acted like he didn't care. I have been a Meto customer for over 15 years and was never treated so poorly by the other locations. I have just moved here and expected to get good service like I did in North Jersey. He was on duty at around 3 in the afternoon. He should be fired for his attitude and not doing any work. He is a disgrace to the company/ read more

Worse customer service ever. Walked into an empty store and the female rep hesitantly asked if she could help. I indicated my brother (who is disabled) received an iPhone as a gift and wanted to activate the phone and switch carriers to T-mobile. She asked where the phone was purchased and indicated it could be locked. We told her it was not. She then asked for his drivers license, he doesn't drive so she asked for military ID, etc. he did not have any ID with him so she indicated she could not help us. I asked for the phone back. She put it in the box and slid it across the counter. I thanked her and she did not reply , just had the same "attitude" she started with. She lost 3 customers as I was also prepared to switch carriers for my husband and I. T-Mobile, no thanks, I'll pay a bit more for decent customer service. read more

This place is the worst I've ever been in. Customer service sucks. They're unfriendly they have no customer service skills I don't know how to greet they don't know how to talk to people. One lady was talking to the other T-Mobile person and said I don't give a shit. While there was customers in the store. And by God if you come in as a sprint customer they definitely ain't got no clue what they're doing. We went to the other store that used to be a sprint store and the manager in there is 100% better He knows what he was doing. So don't go to the store in Rio Grande. Go to the store in Cape May Courthouse. We were in there June third in the evening and June fours in the afternoon two of them were the same people if they are still there they need to be fired. I have been a t mobile customer for approximately 6 years. Recently while vacationing in Cape May I lost my phone near the Rio Grand T Mobile Store. In todays world with their not being such a thing as a phone booth, I stopped in to the T Mobile store to ask if I could use their phone to call my husband. I wanted him to check an app which would tell him the location of my phone. The girl behind the counter who could barely speak in full sentences said no. She said it was against policy for security reasons. Against policy to help a customer out! Wow, I have no words! I then went to WaWa who let me use their phone and Michaels who were also willing to help me out! Both allowing me, a non paying customer to utilize their phone. Sadly I never found it, but the first opportunity I have I will be canceling my 5 wireless phone accounts with T mobile because of their unwillingness to help a paying customer. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at the great level of service that I received at this T-Mobile store. I needed a new phone and the employees were very very patient with me and helped me transfer everything from my old phone and then assisted me with the workings of the new one.
