Went in here a couple months ago to upgrade my phone. I was hesitant, as a previous instance at this location and lack of knowledge/helpfulness was severely lacking. When he found the phone I requested wasn't at his location he pretty much brushed me off and didn't want anything to do with me. Started helping another customer and told me to go to or call another location. Didn't even offer me a slightly different model. I tried to ask further but he just moved onto the next customer. Totally and completely unprofessional attitude and service. I went to the San Juan location and actually bought a different model. They were MUCH more helpful and accommodating and very professional. They even went through other options, etc. I won't be coming back to the San Clemente location ever again. The staff need ALOT more training here. read more

I've always had great experiences at this store but today I went in with a few simple questions about getting a new phone, and was shook by the way I was treated. I believe her name was Claudia, and she was very helpful and nice until I stated to express concern about losing my information in the process, where she then said to me "I can tell you have never had to do anything hard in your life." I was taken aback at this comment as it's extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. But most of all unnecessary. I'm a loyal customer but now I know who will NOT be helping me in the future. It makes me sad that I have to write this, but it's more saddening that a worker would say this to a customer they don't know a thing about. read more

The service here was absolutely phenomenal. I needed a complicated family plan done fast and not only did CecilIa help me over the phone when I called prior to coming into the store, she asked for my name before we hung up so that she could be sure that she helped me when I came in! When I showed up she had half of the work already done and set up for me! She then continued to go above and beyond to help me with absolutely every possible need and question I might have before I left! My experience was less than terrible. I came in for a simple upgrade and the guy Kevin kept trying to upsell me multiple times. I understand that's your job but no means no. The girl who was with him looked like she was on drugs and kept giggling when showing him pictures of things on social media. Hello!! Have some respect for paying customers. The manager was on her cellphone the entire time and could not give less of a damn. This is no way to run a business!! If you don't like what you do don't work there!! If you are new to the area it's easy to find. Parking sucks very limited parking. They are near a sex shop, smoke shop and a donuts shop so if you have kids kept them close. Employee here are an ass they don't give a fuck at all. They talk about other customer when other customer are in the shop they are disrespectful when it comes to help. If they don't like they're job find a new one. When buying a phone they don't tell you everything's about it unless you ask and don't explain the returns policy if needed or payment plan. I recommend finding another story if you want a new phone or need help with your phone. read more

When I say wow, I'm definitely not saying it in a good way. A few days back my kids and I came into this place looking to switch from Verizon and we were welcomed to a very "energetic" woman. She was very passionate about her job because almost immediately she started offering me all this other stuff that we didn't want. I mean talk about upselling. I get it that you need to sell to keep your job but what really angered me about this lady was that she was not even persistent, but pushy! I finally left out of frustration and came back later with my husband to speak to another gentlemen. He was very helpful and helped us get exactly what we were told over the phone without all the added stuff. I asked him about his coworker and he told me it was his manager and that she's usually always making customers feel uncomfortable. I then told him it's a miracle they have the positive reviews they have on Yelp and Google under leadership like hers and he told me they actually make them ask customers to leave them a review before they leave!! I work as a manager in a clothing retail store myself but we NEVER keep customers "hostage" for a damn review! I definitely appreciated his honesty. This is actually why I'm leaving this review. Now I give the gentleman 5 stars, but considering he told me his schedule is random I'm leaving this place 1 star for a very CLEAR AND OBVIOUS reason. The woman made it seem there was no other alternative to switching and that I had to get was she was offering. If my son hadn't told me he was hungry I would've stayed and actually gotten signed up by this so called "manager". If you end up here, please do not work with the female manager or you might end up paying more than you should like we almost did. If you find yourselves working with one of the gentleman here, consider yourselves lucky. I hope that T-Mobile directly contacts me because this kind of stuff needs to be reported. read more

I have been a T-Mobile subscriber for years. This 'new' wi-fi calling they have works little to never. Calls are poor quality, some don't even come through and I completely miss them. Texts rarely appear to send on my end but are actually sending multiple times! I do not get some texts at all, this is absolutely unacceptable. read more

So my experience at first wasn't a great one when I walked in to see about getting a replacement SIM card/phone on May 13th. I didn't really have a pleasant experience with the employee I interacted with that day. But today when I went back in to do an exchange, Cecelia really went above and beyond to help me out!!! She took her time explaining things to me and even helped out setting up my new phone since there was time to do so. I really appreciated her bubbly personality and her awesome customer service!!!! Can't recommend these guys highly enough! After having a terrible time with AT&T customer service while trying to close my account, Claudia and Kevin worked hard and went the extra mile to liaise with AT&T and smooth things out for me. They treated my husband and I as valued customers, remembering us/our situation and following up to make sure we were having a smooth transition to T-Mobile. I had the same experience coming here with my husband, Claudia the manager came up to us asking our names and what we were interested in. After letting her know what kind of new phone we were looking to upgrade to next, she went ahead into asking my husband 21 questions 'so tell me what is it that you do for work? where do you work? do you live here in San Clemente? Etc' Then she started humming and singing while she was upgrading his phone first, again she went into asking 'so did you say, you lived close by?' Unprofessionalism at its finest! The most outstanding TMobile store I have ever been in is located right in San Clemente at 401 SE Camino Real Ste E. From Yessenia, the District Manager, to Kevin and Mateo everyone is completely committed to providing the best possible service to every customer. Staff go to great lengths to thoroughly address problems and resolve them completely. I am particularly grateful to Yessenia who spent a great deal of time with me to resolve some difficult issues I was experiencing.
