BUYER BEWARE!!! I bought a ZTE wireless hotspot because I was told by the salesperson that I would have 5 gigs of 4G data. Once that data was used, the device would give unlimited data at 3G speeds. It worked great until I used the first 5 gigs of data. After that, I could not even open a website! Once I finally got in touch with t-mobile support, they told me the speed actually drops to 2G not 3G as I was promised! However, their definition of 2G speeds is rather generous since their own website wouldn't open. Dial-up would have at least been able to open a page. I tried to return the device because it was sold to me under false pretenses, but the store manager refused to allow me to return the product. I am very disappointed in the service of the store, the network, and the device. read more

I will never go to this location again. I will start off with the "what the hell and where the hell parking". Just park on the street and walk. If you find a place in the minuscule parking area, your lucky. That's only if someone hasn't taken up two spaces. When you walk in to the store you are greeted with the most lack lust hello. Everyone has a look on there face like they hat their job or life in general. Unfortunate that is not why I choose to write this review. I received my gorgeous new phone in the mail and need to get a cover for it. I thought I would stop in and pay what I new was going to be way over priced, but i needed to protect my new toy. I walk in and after a while a girl who looks less than happy to help me "assist" me in finding a cover. By assist I mean walking us over to the wall where they are located and basically saying, "here they are" and stands there and looks away. When I see her edge away a little I call her back her attention to ask which one would be best, explaining that I was looking for a case with a soft silicone layering. She hands me a box and I examine and decide to get it (even though, I think it's a little flimsy for the cost, but she seems confident that the cost and the cover are fine. We go to the check out. She pulls it out of the box, looks it over pays it back in and rings up my $34 cover. Thank God for the 30-day return policy. After a week I was unhappy with the case. The longer I had it, the longer the price I paid for this cheapy cover bothered me. So I got another more durable cover from another less expensive dealer and returned the case to the store. When I went inside, same lack luster greeting, but from a different crew. I waited, and then some one emerged from the back to assist. This was the manager. He was very helpful. When I gave the box to him and he inspected it he says, "this isn't the case for this box." Excuse me?!? I explained to him my trip when I got the thing and he showed me what should have been in the box. Something that really looked more like the price I paid. Luckily getting my money back wasn't too much of a hassle, but I can't trust the integrity of this store. I wonder how many people bought stuff that was in the wrong box? read more

I spoke to the store manager Hector about getting a phone for myself and my sister. I let him know that I was not phone savvy and wanted a phone that was easy to use and had a good camera. My experience on the phone was great!! He answered all my questions and I didn't feel pressured like phone reps can usually come off! Hector was very patient and answered all my questions & like I said didn't make me feel pressured or like I was going to be taken advantage of like I have in the past. My sister & I went in & Judy helped us out with our phones & phone plan. She was super patient & informative. We definitely walked out comfortable with both the phones and phone plans we chose. If I could give less stars than 1 I would. I walked in today and to buy the iPhone 6, Joanne the attendant put it in my hand I said it looked too small and wanted to upgrade it to the 6s but even though I didn't leave the store yet she told me I would have to pay 50 dollars extra on top of how much the new phone would cost. I asked for a manager because I had not even left the store yet and Joanne told me to wait an hour until he was off his lunch. When he finally did show up I let the manager know I had not left the store yet, and technically Joanne opened the phone box not me so why would I have to pay the extra 50$ because the box was opened. This was unfair and I was unable to leave with the phone I wanted because I didn't want to pay an extra 50$ for no reason but the attendant opening a box she didn't have to! I hoped that the manager Francisco would be able to send me home happy with the phone I wanted (not asking for any discounts just want what I came in for) but instead he tried to confuse me saying I would only pay 50 dollars more to upgrade when it was going to be 150$ to get the upgrade. After the huge headache I just left with the phone I didn't even want! Probably not Joanne's fault because she did all she could. Sorry I even have to leave this but I just wish your managers actually had the power to fix things their employees do and not put the extra charge on me. read more

2 weeks ago on sunday 9/7 me and my wife walled in t-mobil on 5th and gadgets in san pedro. immediately an employee said "sir we"ll be right with you, and could we please have your name? "we were pleased with such quick professional customer service we felt compelled to comment on yelp before in t-mobile you would walk in a crowded store and it would be 10 mind before an employer would say "well" be right with you " that was it. nothing else. this employet named will asked everyone whom enterd after us the same quick response and request. if everybusiness taught customer service like this the repeat customers would soar read more

I called and talk to terrand, he said come on over and we will help you, within 10 min I was there to activate my Iphone, Rudy was the one who actually help me, this two guy when on and beyond to help me they activated my phone and helped me with a picture messaging problem, thank you guys, I was in and out of there in 20 min. Then I came home and called Tmobile to transfer my phone num from the other company. they said it will take from 24 to 72 hours to get it done but in ten min. I get a text saying its done. T Mobile has the best customer service. In there store at 5th and Gaffey in San Pedro and on the phone in there 611 service. Thank you very much. read more

You want to get into zombie land, get into this store, they smile ones an a while but the service sucks I didn't get what i ask for but my bill was charge it for a phone I never got, I try to speak with the manager and he was SO BUSY to listen my request, so I just left. I spoke with customer service on the 1 800 number and they are in Zombie Land as well. You will get for what you pay. Well not always my sister is with Verizon and they have the same people with expensive plans. read more
