The male working, the owner, pretty sure it was the owner was rude as fuck. Looked like a knockoff Canelo. Horrrible customer service. Talks to much and is super rude. He advertises his hours from 10 to 7. I got there at 10:45. No one was there. I came back at 12. He had a sticky note on the door saying be right back. I called him and he said he was buying balloons. I waited 10 minutes for him to be back just for him to be an asshole. I kindly told him if the repairs are over $120 I will just buy a new iPad. In October, 2024, I brought in a Motorola Moto G with a cracked screen. Was told by Andy it could be fixed but that they would have to order the part. I said no problem, go ahead. As few days later, was called and told the part had come in. I took the phone in and picked it up a couple of hours later. While I was there I asked him for a price on another Motorola phone for a friend of mine. He checked and said, that one was easy because he had the part in stock, the cost would be $75. My phone has a fingerprint reader on the back. I noticed that since the repair, occasionally, it would feel like it had space between the case and the internal structure, but did not worry about it. The friend of mine gave me his phone to take down there and have the screen replaced. I take the phone in, and Andy looks at it, comes back and says "I'm lucky, because someone else needed the same exact part, but did not want it, so he would let me have it for $85 including the guys deposit. I said OK. I pulled out my phone and asked if he felt anything weird or if there was glue or anything in the area around the fingerprint scanner, he looks at it, then says, "There is no glue there, there is nothing wrong with it, and I can already tell how this is going to go so I don't really want to do this other phone...It's my business and I have the right to refuse service to anyone..." He refuses service because I ask a question? Since this happened, I checked other reviews and see this is a habit here. I would not go here... read more

The owner did a great job. He replaced the batteries on two iPhone 8s for me. I called ahead, and he said he had my batteries in stock, and he said currently there would be only a short wait. Fix is ONLY TEMPORARY!!! Beware!! I took my phone here for a glass repair, the guy at the San Pedro location became so defensive and full of hatred as soon as I started having questions as to why the phone wasn't working anymore, mind you, I wasn't there to argue or demand anything because I knew what I was getting into being that it was a third party. Not one sentence could come out my mouth without him becoming belligerent and super loud. His demeanor was so nasty, unprofessional and so unethical. Phone worked for about 2 months and then it just didn't. I didn't even get to ask my question because like I said he did not allow it. Sad to see people doing business when they don't know how to run such business if they feel something negative will be notified to them. I really wish they were forced to play their camera videos so that everyone can see how they really get once they hear something they don't want to hear. read more

I took my iPhone to them to replace the screen and it was very affordable. It works perfectly. Max , Who helped me was awesome enough to throw in a screen protector and put it on my phone for me. I have to say the last time I cracked my screen I used my insurance plan with ATT and I think it cost me $200 replace my phone. I thought I was the only one feeling like that man was being rude to me but after reading the reviews here on yelp I seen that there's many more that feel the same way I do. I tried going in for a laptop repair (TWICE) and both times he's shut me down saying there's no way to revive my laptop and that if I do repair it, it will cost me a lot. I cracked the small camera glass on my iPhone X. I called ahead Andrew was very helpful and offered a quote immediately and provided his availability which was same day. He also told me to make sure to be careful since the camera was exposed and it could cause further damage. Great parking. Business following all COVID-19 regulations. I was at my cell service carrier to trade in my phone. After inspecting the phone, I was told I had to fix a small crack in the face before they would take it as a trade-in. I called Shattered to inquire about prices to fix the phone. I was given a quote and estimated time that it would take to fix my phone. I left my phone. A sign should be placed on the front door of this particular Shattered address at 605 S. Pacific Avenue in San Pedro that should read "DO NOT ENTER" or "Enter at your own risk." Had an absolutely horrible experience attempting to return or exchange two of three T-shirts and an older iPad protective cover purchased (on August 29) recently. On August 29, initially spent $82.14 on three souvenir San Pedro T-shirts as well as $12 on an older iPad case. The young man who helped me at the counter seemed not to know a thing about the merchandise and he had to go behind the counter to ask someone who was out of sight behind a partition every question I posed. Went into the store this past week, early September, to get a refund or do an exchange and a huge, ballistic-tempered guy sprung up from behind the partition and started yelling at me about refunds not being given and he would not let me even speak as he shouted derogatorily and condescendingly at me while backing me out of the store by pointing his index finger of his right hand in my face. I was mortified and shouted back that his behavior left a lot to be desired and was totally unprofessional, to say the least. The fellow had the gumption to tell me that I was "rude" to the young fellow when I was there to buy the merchandise in August. The truth of the matter is that the young man seemingly did not seem to read the packaging and I asked him to check the information he was giving me because it did not seem correct. Nevertheless, I will NOT be returning to this establishment and to think that I was referred by someone who thought that I would get good customer service there. TL;DR: They do good work at a reasonable price, they don't keep to their posted hours and the owner has a chip on his shoulder. I got my phone repaired once a few months back, and they did a good job. The price was reasonable, and they worked on it pretty quickly, which I liked. The kid working back there was helpful and comunicated very well. I did lose the 3D touch feature on the phone, and the guy there said that he would guarantee that for a few weeks, and that he would repair it again at no cost, but I never ended up going back in because I was planning on getting another phone, so no big deal. A couple of weeks later I tried going there for a charge port issue. I went there twice during their posted hours, but they weren't there. I got there another time, and the owner was closing up during business hours and left a note saying they'd be back. I went back today and talked to the kid who said that they would try cleaning the charge port, then replace it if they needed too. He also said that since my screen was cracked that they risk damaging the screen if they repair the charge port. Totally understandable. The owner who seems stressed out in general jumped in with a pugnacious attitude explaining again what I had already understood from the kid working there, but with a hostile tone. I said that I'm going to replace the phone, so I'm not looking to replace the charge port and the screen which would be more than a new (used) phone that I'm going to buy anyway. These were his exact words: "You keep saying no. I'm done. We're done. Get out!" Cool. The dude seems super stressed out by the business or whatever is going on in his life and doesn't know how to talk to customers. I get it. Maybe a customer facing business is just not for you. I got my phone fixed two months ago, so outside the warranty. My phone dropped and the entire screen fell out. Not just cracked, fell out. I couldn't use my phone at all. I talked to an employee, he was sympathetic and agreed it fell out due the negligence of the employee who 'fixed' it. He said his boss wouldn't budge. He was right, the boss sympathized that this was due to negligence (his employee) but refused to fix it. They talked about pricing and I told them I couldn't give money to the people who fixed my phone poorly in the first place. I would suggest Just Tech Solutions on Western. They fixed my phone correctly. Although it was less cheap, maybe with phone repair that's a good thing. read more
