For the technology challenged, this store is an A+ in my grade book! I am not a big user of cell phones, but like to have one in case of an emergency. So, about a year ago I got rid of my old cell phone with a monthly plan and bought a pay-as-you-go phone. It works out perfectly for my needs. Well, I must have spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how many minutes I had left. (I'm too lazy to search for the owner's manual.) That's where this T-Mobile store comes into place. I stopped by this location as it is right up the street from my gym. There were quite a few people in the store and all the customer service reps were busy helping people with this gizmo and that. I actually only had to wait about five minutes to be honest. I explained my issue and the service rep was very nice and not only talked me through how to check my minutes, but wrote it down for me. He also wisely advised me to buy a $10 card so my present balance (about $80) would roll-over for another year. He patiently explained how to add the minutes to my phone. Now I know I'll have my phone readily available when needed. I have been happy with my T-Mobile service since abandoning AT&T. I've never had a dropped call or any trouble what so ever. read more

The agent I talked to was very knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about. No gimmicks and he backed up all that he was saying with documentation right there in front of me. The team at this particular T-Mobile is nothing short of amazing. After being brushed off by 4 other T-Mobile locations in the area without even making an effort to help solve my problem I was left feeling like I was given no other option than to switch providers....but I decided to give it one more chance....thank god I didn't give up, because Jenn/Jess(can't remember so sorry) along with several other team members made me feel like they cared about me, told me they would do everything in their power to help me and then proceeded to methodically tackle my situation with a level of professionalism I've never encountered in any business setting. I literally just downloaded yelp so I could leave this review. I NEVER do stuff like this, but this team truly deserves to be acknowledged for their hard work. Amanuel was incredibly patient and informative as he walked me through a difficult problem. He provided fantastic service - I'd actually make a point of returning to this store to work with him. Amanuel was also totally upfront about the full costs of a phone - taxes and fees - and I really appreciate that. T Mobile should follow his lead and make that standard procedure. You're always told "it's a free new phone" - and then once you've got it and are checking out, you're hit with some kind of fee: an activation fee, taxes, whatever. Suddenly that free phone is costing you $35- $100. Thanks to Amanuel, I know my costs upfront from the very beginning. I just want to talk about my experience today. I came into the store with a phone ready to put into T-Mobile's network. I was helped by an associate named Andrew O. He not only took care of my issue, he was also very respectful and patient. I completely forgot to tell him my phone was disconnected, which delayed the process for about 20 minutes. He contacted help T-Mobile help desk and other resources. He helped me when associates in other T-mobile stores refused to hear my issue without charging me first. All in all, this was one of the best examples of customer service I've ever received and I will always come to this particular T-Mobile store for help with my phone. Third (3rd) billing for the stated and in writing "free Note Pad"; For 11 & 12/17 I was billed 10.00 monthly for the verbally stated, and confirmed in writing free Note Pad, AND my 01/18 bill again show a monthly 10.00 for the free note pad; This will be my 3rd time calling to dispute this charge for 01/18; Ea. prior two (2) calls customer service assured me, it would not happen again, and now it's a 3rd time of billing; Perhaps T Mobile thinks I'll give up and pay for the "free note paid, and/or hopes they can get an extra 10.00 each month; Billig correctly is part of the agreement, and this 3rd time of breaking the agreement for correct billing, and I having to call for 3rd bill correction has gotten no results, other than unfulfilled promises to bill correctly the next mo. I came to this T-mobile store because my 4+years old phone had died, and T-mobile phone support asked me to go to a T-mobile store. Allen, who I believe is the store manager (based on his name badge), was very patient in advising me on options and showed genuine concern for finding a solution that worked for me. I really appreciate his genuine concern and willingness to answer my questions. His other store associate (Celeste?), who also helped at one point, was also very courteous and responsible. My very positive experience means I'll definitely be coming back to this store for future purchases. read more

I give major props to the manager of this store who took care of a complicated billing problem. The issue started back in Nov 2016. I made many phone calls to T-Mobile and they refused to do anything. The manager of the store show a lot of dedication to doing the right thing and spent considerable time getting the management chain to fix the issue. The issue was created by a sales person who is no longer there. So, that was disappointing. Also, I was a Verizon customer since the middle 1990's. I have had 4 phones with Verizon since the early 2000's. I was reluctant to switch to T-Mobile. I find the T-Mobile service equal and in some places, better than Verizon. read more

It is not just this site but T-Mobile in general. I called to move my cell phone number to a new service provider only to be told I still had a service commitment. What? My phone is 3 years old! I found out that I supposedly "agreed" to an extension when I reduced the number of minutes last spring as I wasn't using them. My protests were met with thier "policy" of believeing a check mark made by customer service over the protests of a customer. I will never, ever use them again....beware. read more

Today the staff was really helpful in setting up my new phone after my last phone died. I like my new phone and can't wait to get my new tablet. The employees went out of their way to make things easier for me. I know I didn't make it easy since I set things up a long time ago and couldn't remember passwords or anything useful. Despite that, they were both really nice and respectful. Also, the new phone seems to work better in tunnels. I didn't realize the coverage area problems were do to limitations with my last phone. I took my phones here to get activated. It was a decent wait because the store was very crowded. They had a sign up sheet, but they weren't really pointing it out so we had to wait a bit longer. However, the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful when it came to them helping us. We were trying to setup a new account and activate devices we already had. There was an issue when you go to the store they have to charge you for the activation kit. I had bought the activation kit off the internet already so I didn't want to be charged twice when they were using my kit. The software wouldn't allow them to waive the fee either. They ended up charging us the fee and immediately called customer support and had them refund us the money. read more

Long waits, inexperienced personnel. I purchased a $150 Nokia Lumina 521 phone here, and it stopped working 6 months later. Since it was still on warranty, I was told that I needed to mail it in and it would be replaced. A couple of weeks later, my phone was returned to me, but without the backing or battery, but with instructions on how to send the phone! No one at the store had told me how this really worked. After third trip there, today I waited another half-hour to have an employee who didn't know what to do, except call customer service. Which is what I did, and they can't do anything. So now I have a useless phone, as the company can't/won't replace the battery and backing. Meanwhile, a very frustrated other customer found no one was available to just take her cash payment. My wife and I went in to transfer our PERSONAL wireless service from Verizon, the sales associate and manager kept trying to get us to change our business service. First off I would like to say my family has been a customer of T-Mobile customer for the past year and half. This month bill came up higher then usual so my sister and mother went to this location to sort out the changes in the amount. They spoke to a customer representative named Mario. I wasn't there physically but I was on the phone with them so I can hear everything. From the start I can hear Mario's tone of voice wasn't pleasant at all. My family are foreigners but they do understand English. He was treating them as they was ignorant and wasn't explaining the extra charges to my family, At which point When i couldn't handle the disrespect any longer I told my mother that I would like to speak with the representative, and when my mother told him I would like to speak to him. He said and I quote "I've already spoken to you guys I'm not getting on the phone to say the same thing over and over again." " if your going to pay, pay!" I have never been disappointed with T-Mobile or the customer service like this. At this point my family is looking for options. This level of disrespect is not what we signed up for. read more

I Have had my T Mobile phone for over 4 years. I had changed my minute time because I was retiring and did not need all the minutes. I decided to get a pay as you go since I would not need the minutes. I called T Mobile and asked if there would be a problem with stopping service and was told by them that there would not be a penalty cause contract was expired. I received my bill and was charged $100.00 termination fee. I never agreed to extending my contract but they insisted when my minutes were changed I renewed my contract. I was never told that and did not agree.I was told it was their policy and a check mark was on my customer service record. I am done with T Mobile after several years of being a good customer and will never recommend or use this company again. read more

T-Mobile is the worst of the worst. Do not use them. They are horrible. I give them a F-. Worst service with lots of dropped calls and dead zones. There customer service is as bad as Comcast cable. If you are thinking of using T-moble do your self a favor don't go with them. I can't get phone service at my work and parts of my home. Customer service agents are incompetent.
