complete ripoff!! i paid 320 for a new screen and was told it came with 90 day warrenty. The very next day it wouldnt turn on so i took it in and they said they saw a scratch just to get out of it. the warrenty litterally means nothing, there was no cracks on the phone. i took it to ifix it and he said there where 2 screws missing inside and it wasnt even closed properly. dc unlocked are a complete rippoff and they know they're in the wong. save your money go somewhere else read more

Dishonest and will say anything to get a sell. I got my iPhone 12 max pro screen and battery fixed for $320 with an aftermarket screen they said was good quality. I was hesitant but was told they have 90 day warranty. Well very next day it stopped working so took it in and first they did was get a magnifying lense and said they saw a scratch and they don't cover cracks. When I asked if they had a warranty they said yeah no worries just bring it back and then the very next day they're telling me to screw off lol. I googled the screen they gave me it costs $84 and when I took it to another shop they couldn't believe a shop was selling that crap. When they took it off he flexed it a tiny bit and the whole thing spider Webbed then he did it to an Apple screen and of course no problems. I paid $400 at the other shop for a new back glass and an actual Apple screen while dmv unlocked charged me $320 for a $84 knockoff and battery. I'm scared about even keeping the battery in they gave me. Don't go here these people have zero ethics. They got me for $300 hopefully I can save someone else though read more

Update! I went back in on Tuesday 12/23 and paid another $75 for a replacement screen because it was loose and on top of that I dropped it at a holiday party on Saturday night and it was cracked pretty bad. The guys at DMV Unlocked Wireless were great, always friendly and the replacement was done in less than an hour and it looks amazing! We will see if it makes it through the 90 day warranty period! Like other reviewers, this was the first time I've taken my iPhone to anyone outside the appleverse. I diagnosed the problem myself (thanks YouTube) and looked at the videos related to the likely cause of the problem. My screen was locked with lines appearing on it - which rendered the phone unusable. I called the place based upon other reviews from Yelp. The picked up the phone right away and I drove over. I walked into the store and was greeted professionally. They listened to me and prior to doing the work took the phone apart and showed my what was going on. Ultimately I replaced the LCD at a cost of $75. Works great! And the best part? There appears to be a good Indian restaurant, and several other restaurants in the same shopping area, so you can grab some good food and a cold drink while you wait! read more

Do not let them replace your screen. I went to them because I shattered my iphone 6 screen and they used cheap glue to attach the replacement screen. The screen eventually came completely detached after three weeks and wouldnt even stay inside my case. When I took it back, they added MORE glue and now my screen is not even all the way sealed at the edges. My phone now has glue coming out of it and has dried glue all around it. This place did more harm than good to my phone and Im not sure even Apple will be able to undo the mess. I just waisted valuable time and over a hundred bucks. Terrible job and business! read more

They sold me a phone 50$ more expensive than its market value. And when I found out about it I returned it on the next day for which they charged me $45. I have been to DMV Unlocked a number of times throughout the years for everything from cracked screens to new batteries. The staff is always kind and knowledgeable. Service is always quick, but there is a lot to do in the area, so you can easily wait at a coffee shop or restaurant while your phone is being fixed. I have had to fix a number of screens and have not had any issues. Recently, I had to do a full battery swap on my iPhone 6. The service took no more than 30 minutes and my phone is as good as new now. All in all, reliable store, great prices, and amazing customer service. read more

Called this location to confirm if they could replace the battery in my phone, which they said they could. I then stopped to open a work ticket, they said they would have to order a battery and would call me the next day when it came in so I could drop off my phone. Received a call the next day that the incorrect battery was ordered, they would need another day for the correct one to arrive. Received a call that the battery was in, dropped off the phone and they said should be ready for pick up the following day. Went to pick up the phone only to be told the technician cracked the screen during battery replacement and they would need to order a replacement screen which should arrive the following day. They did provide a loaner phone in the meantime. Received a call the following day that my phone was ready, everything appeared to be operational however when I got home the biometric reader was not functioning properly. Called the store, they said bring it back, it will need to be calibrated and should take about 20 minutes. Took another drive back to the store to drop off the phone for calibration. Asked how long and they said about 20 minutes. I asked if they would need to open up the phone again and was told no. Came back about 20 minutes later and was told they would need another hour and would have to open up the phone which meant another chance for a broken screen. At this point I asked to the phone back as I needed my phone for the next several days and will now need to make another trip (5 total so far) for a fairly standard battery replacement. Will follow up on how things work out when I take it back in. read more
