I log in to receive the T-Mobile Tuesday item, and was rudely told that they don't do it there. Every other T-Mobile store that I have gone to has had the items and I do know that that store previously had done T-Mobile Tuesday items. If it is true that there's only certain stores that do give out the free item that's fine. But you don't need to rudely tell an incoming customer that you "we don't do that here". I am very upset that I was turned away so rudely and so quickly. There's about three employees not working, so there is a nicer way to say that only certain stores do it and unfortunately, their store isn't one of them. read more

Went here to move lines to a new account. They were not helpful. Tried to get us to just go home and call to do what we needed but we needed a new phone as well. He basically called and gave us his phone and walked away. We had to go to the T-Mobile store at the mall for the actual phone because this one was out of stock. Be careful at this store. The manager at this store added a smart watch to my account when I clearly said NO to a smart watch. I realized the error later in the evening when i checked my account online. I also waited 2.5 hours just to purchase a new phone, screen protector, case. I would visit another location and always always get an itemized receipt! I went back the next day and The assistant manager was very nice in fixing the issues and removed the line asap. read more

I have been a customer of t-mobile for over 12 years and the customer service used to be stellar. To be really honest, it has gone way down hill in recent years and I have been repeatedly disappointed over the last few years. This week, I had a really complex situation with many different components that needed to be resolved. I went to the t-mobile store in the pacific view mall. I was there for 5 minutes and the staff in the store had an absolute "we can't help you today" attitude. After more than a decade of being a loyal customer, I was ready to switch companies. Their bad service and attitude wasn't going to work for me because it was my son's birthday and I really wanted him to have his new phone that day. I didn't want to have to wait for them to send a new phone and have it take days. I had a pleasant experience at the telephone road t-mobile location before and so my son and I went there for one last ditch effort. I went in grumpy and pessimistic that they would be able to help me and I was prepared to switch service provided. However, Javier worked diligently to solve all my complex issues and I walked out with everything handled. The difference was all in the customer service. Javier had a "can-do, get-it done" attitude and he reminded me of why I used to actually love t-mobile. Where to begin. SCAMMED. I specifically was looking at the special senior discount---2 lines for $27.50, but I said I only needed one line. He told me that was $55 so I said I would get a second phone and come back. So I went back, still with the same promotional flyer in hand, and talked about ONLY the special discounted plan, with the two lines and internet. Internet didn't work and I got home and saw on my account I was being charged $70 for phone...more than even their lowest single line! Returned modem and went elsewhere and trying to UNDO the phone thing took over 20 minutes. Had to deal with two different people on two different phone lines. A mess. A total waste of time. Then to add insult to injury, the guy who unsuccessfully tried to transfer contacts LOST HALF OF THEM. I have NO way to get in touch with so many of these people. NO WAY. I am furious. After 4 1/2 days on the phone with Tmobile care teams 2-3 hours a day to get account setup and going (NIGHTMARE) for me (Ventura) and daughter (Oregon) , went to this store. Rodrigo WAS so calm, patient and absolute angel, only took him less than 30 minutes to transfer from verizon to Tmobile, get all things going including calling TMobile store in Oregon where daughter was at same time to make sure the rep there took care of her! Rosio, you have a great Asst. Manager in Rodrigo, hope you treat him right. We were told by girl on Care Team do not go into stores cuz they would charge us $35 for every tech issue. We were not charged by Rodrigo, WE WERE CHARGED BY THE CARE TEAM $70 ($35 for each line) to setup account which was half a** done by Care Team. Thank God Almighty for Rodrigo. read more

Came here to just get a quick prepaid card and the employees here are not helpful at all. The short Hispanic lady, who clearly was in charge was so short with her new employee who was African American. The Hispanic lady was on a meeting the whole time, was on a speaker phone, where she carries it on the sales floor with customers in the store can hear. You can hear all their sales talk and projections that their trying to achieve with in the week. So I'm sure your colleague can reach 67% of their sales by Friday, right? Very bad experience!!! Do not give this FRANCHISE Store your business; instead go to any other corporate Tmobile store. Walked in here the evening of November 14 after doing a lot of research on their plans and current offers online and calling around. I wanted to switch my uncle and aunts service over to tmobile and take advantage of the iPhone for $5/mo they were offering. All three associates lied, played ignorant, lied some more, then changed their story, didn't know what they were taking about; claiming that the plans I wanted wouldn't work with the iPhone deal and I had to sign up for the most expensive plan instead. After being lied to for over 45 mins I finally walked out of there with disgust, called a nearby corporate store who promptly checked and said that the plans I wanted do qualify for the iPhone deal and to come in. I drove over immediately and 30 mins later I had two iPhones on the senior 55 plan I wanted. Can't believe this Franchise store is run so poorly and dishonestly. I wonder if the owner knows how much business he is loosing due to his employees dishonestly and bad behavior. Run for the Hills!! read more

I'm not sure if the two occasions I have visited were just flukes but both times I had impatient employees who were not helpful and rather condescending. The first time I visited started off with one of the female workers telling me to wait outside because the store was at capacity. Don't get me wrong, I completely understand the regulations during COVID but what I couldn't understand was that as soon as two people came out, I told my mother to come inside with me since it was cold and I didn't want her to wait in the car alone, but the lady stopped us and said only one of us could be inside. I was confused because the other worker had a family of 5 inside with kids, so why is it that they're not being asked to wait outside or in their car? I brushed it off and asked my mom to wait in the car ( it was on one of these incredibly windy days). I asked the lady for help with switching phones on my sprint network and immediately told me she couldn't help me. I asked her to clarify why she couldn't help me since sprint was merging with T-Mobile and I was instructed to go to a t-mobile store for help. The only thing she said and kept repeating was that she only has one computer and can't do it. She kept telling me to go to a different store, but by this time my personal phone wasn't in service since I tried to activate my phone earlier online and wasn't successful. I figured I would just go to a different branch because of her tone and her unwillingness to help me out but I had no idea how to get there. I asked her if she could give me directions to the other store and scoffed as if I was asking too much from her. Eventually, she pulled a map on her phone and I was able to see it. I was still lost and asked if she would provide a map print out for me to get there, but she either didn't understand what I was trying to tell her or didn't want to help me with that. **** Luckily the guy who was helping another customer came by and was kind enough to help me get my way to the second t-mobile store. He started telling me what road and exit to take in order to get there. He is the only reason why this isn't a one-star review. The male worker at least helped me get to the second t-mobile with kindness and professionalism but the female worker that helped me out seemed so frustrated and annoyed for asking for help. *** I went to the T-Mobile branch at the Pacific View Mall and they were the best representatives out there. I was helped in a professional manner without any condescending tones or looks of impatience. I RECOMMEND THE PACIFIC VIEW MALL FOR ANY HELP. *** I also found out that I could have received help from the store on telephone, it's just that the girl with the attitude who was helping me out didn't have the knowledge (or the patience) to help me out. read more

We signed up for a plan and bought 4 new iphones from this location, during the buy one-get one promotion earlier this year, where you turn two old phones (iPhone 5s or better) and get $700 off a new phone with purchase of another. Evidently they were supposed to give us a website where we needed to fill out a claim form. No mention of this was made during the transaction, and we were told, when we asked "so we just need to ship these old phones back?", "yup!" So we waiting for a few weeks for the rebate to process, and when it didn't come, I called and was told we had to do another step we weren't told about. AND that since the promotion was now over, there's nothing they could do about it. So ... we're out $1400 thanks to these people's incompetence. Add to that the insulting reception T-Mobile has around Ventura; one street I have 5 bars, the next block over, there's one bar, and at my house another block over, no reception. I've had more dropped more calls in the 6 months with T-Mobile than in the nearly 20 years with AT&T wireless. I am counting down the days till these phones are paid off so I can switch back. read more

My wife's I-phone is defective, according to the T-Mobile tech rep (for whom I waited on hold for more than one hour). So T-Mobile will replace it...right? Wrong; they referred me to the Apple store 40 miles away (which happens to be closed), or the local Best Buy (where I waited on the phone for 38 minutes (count 'em), and finally gave up and hung up). T-Mobile's alternative solution - master reset. Erase EVERYTHING on my wife's phone and start over - on their defective phone - and HOPE that works. I am researching another carrier. I was looking for an iPad to purchase since my daughters birthday is today. I wanted my dad to ask if they had any available first before I had to get off since I'm currently in a wheelchair from a bad accident the employee came to my car to answer the question I had which was if I could use a picture of my id because I didn't have the physical card on me. He said it was fine and the picture was fine. As soon as I got into the store he asked for the id and I mentioned to him again I only had a picture and he said he wanted the physical one. Mind you when he told me outside as I was in my car that I didn't have it. Not only that but he watched as me and my dad struggled to get my wheelchair in the door they didn't even offer help. They seriously lack customer service skills it's sad. Extremely rude employees. Don't come here. read more

I went to the T Mobile store on Telephone Road in the Von's Shopping Center. I had purchased a flip phone there 6 months ago. The phone is not keeping its charge so I figured I could get a new battery there. I told a staff member about this and I thought he was looking something up on his tablet. When I asked him if he could help me, he said "No I'm on my way to lunch" and left. Another guy came out of the back room and I told him the same story, he said he couldn't help me because I had an "old phone" and nobody uses those phones any more. When I told him I had bought the phone there and they should not be selling phones if they don't even have batteries for the phones he said "Shit I wish we weren't selling them." They told me to look on line and buy a battery. Why they are selling phones and not the batteries is beyond me. They were eager to sell me a new expensive phone, but not assist me. I will try my very best to avoid that store and you should too! The employees are hanging around just playing with their tablets. Out of four guys there, there was only one helping a couple with a new phone. I ended up having to buy a new battery online. If I could give this store less than 1 star I would. read more

They don't even let anyone into the store last time I went, they were turning customers away left and right outside the front door at 4pm on a Tuesday. For no reason other than these employees are lazy and their manager wasn't there (or that was a lie). They were turning customers away saying "they had the right to refuse service to anyone" and asked customers to leave the sidewalk (it's a sidewalk). These "immobile experts" and their manager need to be fired immediately. I'm a 12 year customer and had a very important time sensitive issue that was unresolved in the most stupid way with the worst customer service that exists today. Does anyone else hate that sprint is now joined with T-Mobile? For some reason they can never help me at all! I have gone in here twice to be able to upgrade my phone and both times the girl at the counter has told me she can't because she isn't familiar with the sprint accounts. Shouldn't employees be properly trained and knowledgeable on specially because they've been "merged" for a while? Anyway, I specifically called sprints customer service and they verified that I could upgrade with no payment upfront AND that they would take my device REGARDLESS of the condition. Well tell me why this employee is ignorant enough to say I can't take your phone because the store decides whether or not to take it? How does have the audacity to call the "shots" if I LITERALLY HAD JUST SPOKEN TO CUSTOMER SERVICE ABOUT IT. They had even checked the location of the store and got back to me about it.
