I came in with 20 minutes and the only reason why I know that is because I was greeted and promptly told there was 20 minutes left. I asked where the notebooks were and was told where to go, again, he asked if I needed any more help because they closed in 20 minutes. While I was looking at the different type of notebooks, same gentleman asked if I found what I needed and I said yes, he said perfect because they closed in 8 minutes. Don't waste your money. I have been using them for a few weeks to scan my mail as part of ipostal1 service virtual mailbox. I have found the scanning service is full of errors. When they scan my mail they are constantly uploading the wrong documents. Or they don't scan at all and I have to contact customer service to remind them. I would like to give big appreciation for the print services team at this Staples store in Oxnard, CA. I brought in an event program for bulk print. The staff was very patient as we had to work awhile with Publisher software to update my fonts/sizes to make it look nice. The printing was flawless and done and ready for me to pick up on the day I needed. The program came out just beautiful. Today 5/23 I visited the stores to make a return. At the time of the visit my son also needed to use the restroom really bad. I asked my daughter right when we walked in to go ask the lady at copy service dept for direction. Kindly she told my daughter where it was at and someone would go an open it for her. The issue became when I asked the greeting associate where returns are handled and for location of the restroom. The associate responded with some hesitation after she looked up and down me and my kids and said. The restrooms are not working they are out of service. I replied if we could use the other gender one and expressed that son needs to go really bad. He's going to pee his pants here. She replied again and said, the restroom are not working and walked away. I walked away in got in line to make the return and my daughter told my son let's go. They are going to open the restroom for me. My kid's returned and I asked them if the restrooms were not working?? They said.. they are working just fine why mom?? I was extremely upset! The greeting lady was a white, short heavy set with partial boy short hair and other half long. Im a Latina with 8yrs twins and 11 month baby in my hands. Why be racial with me and my kids? Worst experience I've ever had at a staples in a hot decade. The surprising thing is that the staff was all excellent except for the MOD. She was rude, unprofessional, flippant and unhelpful. I asked her to help me locate an item and she flat out refused. She then said she'd send someone to help if she could but did not. I asked the polite young lady at the register after I failed to locate the items and they sent someone to help me. I never did find the items. Today I visited to return a tv that did not come with what was promised on the box. The cashier said my reason for returning was not valid. This makes no logical sense. If it has not been past 30 days, I should be able to return anything I want too. Is this not the policy? I've never had an issue like this with staples returning anything. Every couple of years or so I buy my chairs from here but I found myself coming here more often for shipping and printing purposes. My experience with the people who work here are all positive. They are courteous, kind, and know how to do their stuff. It sucks when you want to print something and the worker barely knows how to use the machine, it wasn't like that here. They know how to do their job well and I appreciated that. I had several options in my area for places to get my stuff printed and I would come back here all the time. read more

girl....the self serve printers are so dang slow i stood at one for 20 minutes waiting for it to calculate the cost for ONE print job. it timed out too!! i didn't even get to print my file. you're also not able to print multiple files at once it's one at a time for the self serve printers. the people working the print station are able to print all your files much quicker but they waited until i was like visibly distressed to help me. go somewhere else for your print jobs. i wish i could add a clown emoji to this review read more

I have been a customer with Staples for several years and by far this is the worst location I've ever encountered. I sent my husband to make copies early during the week and it took over one hour to get the job completed. The copy machine kept jamming and they couldn't figure out the problem. Then they made copies that was the incorrect size. A few days later I needed the same request, copies of an 8x14 legal size and the representative was unknowledgeable and handed me copies that was incorrect. Then she attempted to redo the job, once again the machine jammed and she couldn't get the printer to work. She called her manager LAURA who also was rude and didn't have any clue how to resolve the problem herself. I advised her that I had been at her store for over an hour and had the same issue early during the week. She completely ignored me and start helping other customers and put me last on her priority list of customers to help. It was near to closing time, I had to drive to the Camarillo location to get my printing job done. Even though it was near to closing at the second location 2 nice gentlemen George & MIke completed my printing job with no hassle or confusion. Words of advice B2C... corporate needs to step in and give their employees at this Oxnard location more training on how to work their printers and treat their customers with more respect. read more

Needed to restock on "Security Loops" (plastic tag fasteners), but Staples no longer carries them. I'm giving 4 stars for the salesperson named "Lillie". She tried her best to help me. She took the time to walk with me to the isle that had price tags, plastic fasteners, etc. I pointed out the tag fastener they had, but I was looking for fasteners that doesn't need a fastener gun. She made a note of it & took the time to look up the item online, but no luck. Oh well, at least she tried & I appreciated it very much. Disappointed with Staples...they were always our go-to local supplier. But over the last year or so I've come to realize this place is better suited for home-based businesses and students. Larger businesses need a better level of service, commitment, and convenience. Our latest endeavor with Staples: 1. Prices online didn't match store prices - by 30% - and they wouldn't match in-store even after we showed them the lower prices on their site 2. Print-order website is terrible - way too much time to upload compared to someone like docucopies or OD 3. Order not completed on time - major problem for us as our event was the next day. Killing family time now... 4. Challenging to get refund even though print job was never started! Numerous phone calls required to get refund (for an online order - really - it's 2016?) and a huge waste of personal time Like I said, cute place to go to buy your phone case or drop off your UPS packages. But if you need to rely on your vendors to help earn you money, choose someone who understands the importance of quality service. read more

What I like best is the more personal customer service I receive that you just do not get in the larger chain stores. read more
