If you're in search for a new phone, provider, etc., don't stop here. Initially, I made a mistake common of many folks, going to a kiosk labeled "Verizon" without realizing that it was an "authorized retailer" designed to siphon just a little more cash out of you on top of the usual. After initially being very nice, many phones were not in stock, and added services (insurance, data transfer) were added essentially without consulting me. After I realized what was occurring (namely the data transfer) I asked them to stop because it wasn't necessary (all of my data is already in the cloud and I can add apps like any brainless idiot without paying 30 dollars). Other charges were added to my bill that I did not realize until I contacted Verizon. Finally, they often do not have sales which match or are the same as regular Verizon stores. So, next time you need to go to "the verizon store" make sure you find a real one and not this garbage store.

The one he wasn't able to process was because greater Verizon made yet another mistake on their end. Despite me leaving Verizon this store experience with the employee was really solid.

Multiple follow up calls over the next few months and our bill was still not reflecting our trade in credit so I eventually had to resolve the issue myself over the phone with a Verizon Call Center rep. In store we were charged $50 for data transfer which failed and we did ourselves at home. Also $50 for a screen protector that lasts a week is a joke. When I called the store about refunding the charges I was told "Screen protectors are supposed to break" and that the charges couldn't be refunded. Once again a rep over the phone cleared this all up. Save yourself the trouble and do all your business with Verizon online and over the phone. It will be a much easier experience and you'll save a buck as well. The overall experience left such a bad taste in our mouths we have decided to switch carriers in the near future.

So I came in to print myself in the store through self service. I find it interesting how the website was going to allow me to order a specific job yet when I went in the store I was told by the lady behind the print service desk that they were out of 11x17 card-stock matte paper. I was not told of any other options nor any other recommendations to substitute the paper I requested. It's a shame that companies hire individuals who lack the inability to provide customer solutions. I ended up asking if they sold the paper I wanted and they did. I had to buy a pack of 125 sheets of paper when I only needed four copies. This was all due to lack of supplies of the store. As I was setting up my print job, I noticed that the tray to insert card stock paper does make sense as a cabinet is blocking the tray. I had a couple of questions but everyone was preoccupied. I finally was able to get someone to help me out when the self service printer was not allowing me to preview my print before it printed. I informed the associate what was going on and he only repeated what I said, he did not inform me why the printer would not let me see a preview. I told him I wanted to see the document before it printed because I did not want to me charged for a copy that I do not want. He proceeded to tell me that it only cost $1.15 and he clicked print. I did not appreciate that. Another error came up on the system and the gentleman told me there was a problem with the printer and to move to another printer but he didn't explain why all these errors were popping up. He only instructed me to to a different printer because the one I was currently at was no longer worker. No one was able to assist me. I ended up paying for a pack of paper to print due to the lack of supplies, then couldn't even print because the printer was not working. It's interesting how easy something can be done when good customer service is provided. I went around the corner to FedEx and the gentleman there was able to print my documents in under 5 minutes with the paper that I needed. Yet the associates at Staples couldn't even help me to print a single thing.

I can't really pinpoint each and every good thing that occurred but he was just very caring and knowledgeable about what our plan was. He provided options of pricing for each phone and manufacturer. He was very upbeat and enjoyable to work with. It was nice that my wife was able to easily decide on the phone she wanted as well getting the color she wanted. The other worker there was also funny and enjoyable. He was singing along to some of the oldies songs playing and laughing. Great store and great workers.

Exactly 34 days after he did that, I dropped my phone in order to keep myself from falling. Even with my protective case the screen took another hit and was shattered. I was four days beyond my warranty and my cell phone repair did the repair for me again and extended my warranty. I felt so happy and grateful for the extension. I don't think anybody tends to go to these lengths to make people happy. I will never use anybody else again! And yes I did pay the good karma forward To someone else that needed help :-)
