Just today I had to call a T- mobile to have an account closed that someone had opened in my name…read more Unfortunately my information, including my social, were leaked during one of the T-Mobile breaches. I've had several identity theft problems since this all happened, and every time I contact T-Mobile about it they just give me the same scripted response. It really feels like the response from T-Mobile has been insufficient at best. This is third party store avoid going to this specific store, Specially with Silvestre.

Returned and had to pay re-stocking fee on each. First store in Y.C. said, "We can't accept returns here. You have to go to the corporate store." Did that and had a hassle there, too, but finally they accepted the returns. It was the last day to return them (14 days), they said, but they counted since PURCHASE, not DELIVERY. I called and explained that I should not be charged for the service on these phones since A. The service wasn't as advertised, and B. We only used them a few times to verify coverage. TIP: Don't cancel your old phones until you verify coverage, if you can swing that. I spoke with a few reps who all held the company line that I was on the hook for the better part of $400 for a couple phones that did not work out. Called the attention of the BBB, the CA Attorney General, their "corporate response" department, and the FCC regarding their inaccurate coverage maps. Guess what? About a week later I got a call back from corporate. The gentleman was quite agreeable. He asked about my experience and I related all to him. He very kindly offered a complete refund on money paid and a cancellation of money "owed," for which I was and expressed to him my sincere appreciation. Their deals on phones and service were really enticing and I was disappointed that it didn't work out. We did subscribe to their internet service as we have line-of-sight to a nearby tower, and that's been great and a big savings in money and hassle compared with Digital Path and Succeed.net. No long phone calls to tech support, just reboot the Gateway device and that usually gets service back up to good speeds. Upload and ping aren't good for gamers, I'd say, but for regular folks wanting to watch the latest episode of South Park, no issues whatsoever. I did ask to be called back if they got a tower near the poor reception area locally, but didn't hear back. I should probably follow up. If the reception was as advertised, I'd certainly consider re-upping with them.

I actually came in yesterday to see what could be done and Ken reassured me that he could take care of what I needed to do but it was too late to do it. He said he would be here today. And he was and right on time!! If I need anything else I truly hope that Ken will be here to help. There is a huge selection of phones and accessories. Some of the deals att has right now are awesome.

I have completely lost trust in this particular AT&T store. My experience has been that making the…read moresale or adding something to your account matters more to them than actually listening to the customer. I went in specifically to have my Apple Watch added to a line I have had for years. I clearly and specifically said I did NOT want my existing plan changed. They changed it anyway. They took me off a plan I had been on for years, put me on a more expensive plan, and increased my bill -- without even telling me they had done it. Had I not gone into that store, I could have continued using the plan I already had. What is especially unacceptable is how they handled it afterward. There was no acknowledgment that they had done anything wrong. No apology. No "I understand why you're upset." Nothing. They can sit there, make a change you explicitly told them not to make, look you directly in the face, and act like there is nothing wrong with what they just did. I was essentially told that the employee was "just following the prompts." That is not an excuse. Following a prompt does not give you permission to override what your customer explicitly told you to do. And now I have to call customer support myself and spend more of my time trying to undo a change that this store made without my consent. This is not an isolated experience. I was previously signed up for insurance I never requested and paid for it for years without even knowing I had it. I've also had an employee fail to give me my SIM card after I specifically asked for it because she was busy trying to sell additional services to the person who came in with me. At this point, my impression of this location is that they are focused on making sales and adding charges, not protecting the customer's interests. They will make the change, add the charge, or push the sale -- and when you point out that something is wrong, you're the one left to spend your time fixing it through customer support. If you go to this location, watch everything they do. Check your plan. Check your bill. Don't assume that because you clearly told them what you wanted, that's what they actually did. My experience has been that you have to protect yourself because this location certainly hasn't given me any reason to believe they will.

After he realized my phone was an iPhone 14 instead of the 13 he originally claimed it was, he tried to put it on me as if I had told him it was a 14. He said he would have to order the battery, but he never explained that he would call me when it came in. I called on Sunday (day two) to see if the battery had arrived. It didn't show up until Monday. I took my phone into the store so they could swap out the battery. My phone was working fine at that time. After they replaced the battery, my phone started shutting off during calls, then right after sending a text message, and again after another phone call. I took it back to them. They removed the new battery and put the old one back in, saying the new battery must have been defective. However, once the old battery was reinstalled, the phone continued doing the same thing--dying during phone calls and after sending texts. Now the phone just turns off and on by itself. As a result, I had to buy a new phone, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by getting a new battery in the first place. They completely messed up my phone. I would not refer anyone to this place--not even my worst enemy.

The young man that helped me was nice, friendly, and helpful. I'm happy with my phone and glad I went with this AT&T location. My only real complaint (and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars) is it was a little hard trying to find a phone without a data plan. I'm not sure if it's just AT&T or the industry itself but I don't want to pay $100+ for a cellphone bill every month. Luckily the young guy who helped me was nice enough to show me the phones that didn't require one. Other than that, I was perfectly happy with my purchase.

I decided to return my Iphone at the A T & T Wireless store and ran into a pile of problems. At first the manager didn't want to admit that his sales rep. messed up and didn't want to give me a full refund.
