Got my phone ports cleaned up here a year ago. That time the manager did a fantastic job. Cleaned my ports really well and wiped my phone down. Today a worker did a horrible job, my ports are still dirty, the outside of the ports dirty and the manager wouldn't even come out of the back to check the workers poor job. 15$ I could have bought a duster can and did this myself. The worker was monotone, scowl on face, and unfriendly. She hit hit it with 3 seconds of air and called it good. Do not waste your money on this overpriced, scam of a service (took employee less than 60 seconds from register to cleaning and back to the register) with a manager that can't be bothered to get out of his chair and properly address the issue. He just hollered from the back "if you want it taken apart and cleaned it'll be $150" woah. That's not what I was asking for at all. When I come back I expect the same service as before. I'm not sure if the old guy manager was having a bad day because in the past he has been friendly and helpful but this is absolutely unacceptable. How do you expect to stay in business? read more

Sara is AMAZING ALWAYS! On butte house road Yuba city I've have nothing but exceptional help from her. I have a difficult (for me) battery for my dads mobility scooter to replace and then put back in the case thingy. Sara always helps & takes out 10 little tiny screws takes the casing apart, puts the 2 NEW batteries inside thennnnn puts all those TINY screws back in and I'm ready to go!! I have a disabled dad 81 with an iskemic stroke and a mom 79 with a tumor in her chest wall with that being said any HELP is so helpful. Sara thank you for your expertise and exchanging the battery with no argument or explaining. Yes having a receipt is important I'm sure so don't go in thinking you're going to get away without one. So check this out, I went to Batteries Plus to have them check on my iPhone 13 mini's charging port because I could not charge my phone. I took it to them. I called not knowing exactly what I needed in the way of batteries for my husband's wheelchair. I had a bunch of numbers. Didn't know what they mean either. I had all kinds of questions and for 2 days kept calling back and the manager "Dave" was patent with me and did his best to help me understand. I had the misfortune of buying bulbs at this locations. Brian is a rude and arrogant young man who lacks basic Customer Service skills. I had a package with the blown bulb with me to make sure I purchased the right bulb because my husband usually buys this kind of stuff. When I asked about the return policy he (Brian) hesitated before responding. (As if I asked him to recite the Gettysburg Address). I said you seem unsure, and he said "NO YOU SEEM UNSURE"!!! Now, What would I have to be unsure of. Either I will buy the bulbs or I won't. He is a cashier and the first person I spoke with in the store. Used this store several times and was pleased with the service I received until today. My daughter and I came into the store and a older gentleman I think his tag said Jim but not 100% and he just looked at us when we came to counter. I then asked can you help us? He said yes what do you need? I explained to him I had a key I needed programmed and do you do it. He replied with yes and pointed to the other girl working and said she does it. Mind you she was helping someone else and thought it was rude to interrupt her. She said yes she does do it and the cost. I said thank you and left the store. The first time I went to Batteries Plus the customer service wasn't great. The two men that helped me were not the nicest and after they put my new battery in and a new screen, they gave it back to me and said that my phone was tweaked and the screen wouldn't go on right. They hadn't put any of those things on the initial paperwork. I didn't think there was anything wrong with it when I dropped it off, but I paid them and left. A few days later my screen had so many cracks in it, I took it back in. The person who waited on me was so nice and she was so patient and listened to me. Because they didn't tell me about my phone being tweaked when I dropped it off the first time, they weren't going to charge me for a new screen. But if it happens again, they will have to charge me. When I went to pick it up, she said she fixed my phone and it was no longer tweaked. So it shouldn't crack again. I wonder why those two gentlemen couldn't figure it out? I would go back if the person who helped me the second time of was there. I probably wouldn't go back if the two gentlemen were there. read more

I went to Dodge dealer for key for my 09' Ram 1500, dealer said if I could leave it for a day or two (they were busy) they could get to it. If I did not want to wait they suggested Batteries Plus Bulbs. Great recommendation. Customer service was A++. They looked up my key, found the correct model gave me a price that was $100 less than dealer and got to programming it. They ran into a slight glitch and called their company for tech support and solved it. They also fix phones here. There is a guy named Tim who just saved mine and my Father's Day. My fathers Iphone stopped working and turned off out of nowhere and for a few hours I tried to get it on. I tried charging it and all types of things. So I call in here to see if they sell used phones and he (Tim) said no but what's the problem. I came here to get my iPhone 8 screen fixed. when i got it, it looked good. but as soon as i turned it on, the entire retina display was different. The phone's sensor no longer works either. When i asked the guy (beard and slicked back hair) about the differences, he was extremely unhelpful and did not care for my concerns. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone for a phone repair. I had to pay Apple to fix the iPhone screen because of this so I spent another $160 because of his mistake. When Apple ran a diagnostics test, they confirmed that the sensor was broken; here, he gave me my phone back after the repair and told me everything worked. They do NOT use apple screens for repairs so don't waste your money here, especially if you have a higher generation phone, you're better off paying the extra $10-15 at Apple. read more

My wife's mobility scooter was not working.....there is literally ZERO mobility scooter stores that I could contact in my area for assistance. I was pretty sure it was either a battery, or charger issue. I contacted Batteries Plus Bulbs, and Tim assured me they would be able to help either issue, and made sure I was aware of the online coupon which would save me 10%. I brought the battery case in, they installed the batteries, and even reassembled the battery case for me.....plugged the charger in, and it worked just fine. read more

Had my phone screen replaced about a month and a half ago. The replacement included a warranty. I started having a problem with the screen not coming on under certain conditions. I called the store and they said bring it in and they would check it out. I took it in and they ended up replacing the screen and it's working perfect again. They honored their warranty and it was completely hassle free. Great way to do business. read more

I came in today to find out why my iPhone seemed to have become a brick. I suspected some water damage since the camera sensor lens had recently been cracked, but it went out while it was sitting on my desk so not sure where the water would had come from. Regardless, I was hopeful. When I arrived, Liz was very helpful. She cracked the phone open and readily observed the water that had come in from sensor. She helped the evaporation process with a little heat from the heat gun and plugged the battery back in. To our surprise, the phone lit up! Unfortunately, it still seems to be damaged since it will no longer connect the the cellular data network, but at least it's not bricked and I was able to take her home and back her up. I'll leave it sitting for a while to continue the evaporation process and maybe the the antenna will start working again - who knows. Either way, I was very pleased with Liz. When I asked her what the bill was, she indicated that she wasn't charging to diagnose the phone. I needed no additional components, so my only payment is this happy yelp review. If zero stars was possible that's what I'd say . Before today I liked batteries plus I bought flashlights and batteries and bulbs there and most of the employees are great and helpful even got my phone repaired there before ! Today I went in to buy a charger and while checking out my gf and I were teasing about who was paying for it . In the middle of that , the heavy set guy with facial hair and slick back hair on his head was extremely rude and unprofessional he acted like a dick and interrupted my discussion saying we'll whoever is paying needs to just slide the card like an asshole. I thought batteries plus was pretty good about who they hired until now. Apparently they don't care about good customer service anymore so might as well go to the cheaper places for things since we don't pay more to be disrespected . Before this guy it was great but today I left my items on the counter and walked out which is rare for me . I won't spend another dime at that place until he doesn't work there anymore. read more

I went in and asked for a battery for my remote lock for my car and the guy took my keys and put the battery in for me wich I thought was just fine until he charged me for doing it. I just asked for the battery not for them to do it. The back of the remote just pops right off (a very simple install). Next time you need to inform your customers that you offer the service at an aditional charge!!! I could of got a second battery for the cost of the service! So about two weeks ago I dropped my beloved new iPhone 7 and the right corner of the screen shattered. I lead a busy life with soccer and academics and had to wait to get it repaired. Today I went to three different repair shops to see where I could get my screen repaired for a reasonable amount. The man in the mall was requesting a whopping $250 for just the screen only, no warranty or incentive. So I high tailed it out of there and into Batteries Plus Bulb and was greeted by a extremely nice and careful employee named Tim. He greeted us with a true welcome and treated us as if we were family. He gave us the price which was $150 to repair the screen. Tim gave us a 10% discount for making an "appointment" before hand. He gave us an estimate 1 hour to complete the repair. I went to run errands and received a call and Tim said it was ready. I went back and picked up my phone with a newly repaired screen. Tim was kind enough to assist with the application of my new phone case which was tricky to put on. So overall my experience with Batteries Plus Bulb in Yuba City was great. Thanks Tim! read more
