As a "loyal" Verizon member for 20+yrs. The service has gone down with company greed. Forefront store employees are great when you plan to purchase anything sold at the store. However, when it comes to assisting with your billing you have to call 611. My experience with Verizon's home internet has been a mixed bag. I recently tried their $55 promo with a 5-year lock guarantee, which was decent at first. However, as I reached my 3rd year, I started experiencing intermittent WiFi issues. I eventually decided to switch to Race Communications for my high-speed fiber internet and landline, and the transition was surprisingly smooth. Will I still continue service with Verizon? Eh! I switched 3 out of 4 lines over to T-Mobile after losing my $10 Autopay discount when receiving an insulting email that my Auto-Pay discount would be cut in half if I didn't upgrade to any of the Ultimate plans. So far am keeping 1 line with Verizon just in case Verizon has better connectivity when traveling. Furthermore, I'm currently happy with my service with T-Mobile as it's not breaking the bank compared to Verizon and data coverage isnt too bad and no outage lately compared to Verizon, and WiFi is so much more reliable with Race for $70/month for the 1 Gigabit Internet, excluding monthly taxes and fees and $0 Start-up fee which will soon go up to $150 start-up fee once the promo expires. Pros: -In-house service is excellent for purchasing anything at the store. Workers go above and beyond to address your questions/concerns and help you. Cons: -For all other inquiries that don't involve buying anything at the store, you will be directed to calling 611 and waiting for eternity. All jobs are sourced overseas by the look of it. Also, most times, it is difficult to hear when there is so much background noise on Verizon Rep's line countless times when dialing 611. It's so unprofessional, unlike a decade ago. The sales reps are extremely arrogant and condescending. Today I came in, and the person checking people in was telling the folks in front of me "What do you need" or "what do you want" instead of "hi how can I help you" which is basic customer service. They act like they are big shots who work for google but, they just work at a cellphone store in the Yuba City mall and need to lighten up with their customers. Save yourself a horrible customer service experience and go somewhere else. I just walked out because the energy was so foul and I could not stand hearing how they were treating the other customers. Especially the elderly customers. They have two stars for a reason. No exaggeration, every time I've had to go into that store I have to mentally prepare for how rude they are. Very disappointed in the service and outrageous prices for extras. The clerk obviously did not want to wait on Me and kept looking around the room as if trying to leave. I finally asked if he needed to be elsewhere. He lied to me about the adaptors for the new iPhone cords, refused to sell me AppleCare and left me standing when my new phones were finished transferring data. The experience was very negative compared to the other times I have upgraded my phones. I went over to Walmart and got two chargers for $9/ each (not $27) and Apple was amazed that he told me there were no cord adapters. They are everywhere. I also got two protective cases for our phones for $5 instead of the ones at Verizon for $60. Whoever my clerk was should work somewhere that he respects the customer. As an older white female customer I and my friend were treated very poorly. We were sitting with the representative and another much younger female customer came in. He dropped us like hot rocks. We asked him if he was going to finish waiting on us. I guess he didn't like that. As every question we asked after that he would just snap an answer back. When we asked about inventory they suddenly didn't have any and stated come back next week. The last 2 times I was there I was treated in a similar fashion. Even after making 2 separate appointments! 3rd times a charm. We left and went to Victra. We left with three phones and 2 IPads and ALL the extra goodies. AND my monthly bill is less too. So my husband bought a new iPhone from them as a gift for me. I've been going back and forth in that shop with my 3 children. I talked to several employees and none of them told me that my son's old iPhone needs to be turned on. I am turning in the old phone because that is a swap for a new one. The first guy the asian one, I don't know what race he is. Every-time I go there he dismiss me with lies. Or, he just simply does not know how to do his job to make it easier for the costumer. I tried to hold my anger but they couldn't care less for a woman who is coming back and forth to their shop with 3 children! My house is not in Yuba, so it is still quite a drive for me and nobody will be left for my kids at home so I have to go there with all my kids. At first, he told me to go to another shop to fix the battery of my phone because it is not on. I tried to turn it on and restore it but that is the problem at the first place that's why I am swapping it for a new one. Then I came back minutes later because I thought it isn't right. I talked to another guy, this time it is the taller white guy with wavy hair. He said it doesn't matter if the phone is off as long as my husband takes it off from MyFind. So I called my husband who is far away in his job and woke him up at 3 am! He did what they said to take out the older phone from the Myfind. So I approached the 1st guy employee that I talked before he's not even looking at me, that's why the third guy employee talked to me, who told me that it still appears in their system that the iPhone is still connected to my husband's Myfind, then the third guy suddenly said it's okay, he can wipe that out whatsoever just turn on the new phone, the thing is something happened to the new phone when my husband deleted it on the Myfind. It reseted the phone and now we have to set it up again. I have other appointment that day and I am upset that I have to stay and fight with my husband over the phone because he doesn't know what happened either. What pissed me off more is when the third employee said that he could do it anyway in their system. So they just waited for us to make a mistake and the phone turned off and we couldn't reset the phone right there in that shop because I don't have the list of my passwords with me. So they are expecting me to call it a day and come back again? That is just ridiculous! They did it in purpose so they don't have to give us the $300 discount! And us having to repair the phone before turning it in to them is also ridiculous because it will cancel out the discount if I have to pay for a new battery and repair. So please reconsider before making transactions with this shop regarding buying a new phone. Costumer service is not great at all given to what happened. Imagine 3 employees talked to me, and the third guy is the only one who told me that there is supposed to be an easier to do it? Please Verizon, I think you have to train your employees more. My family has been using Verizon for more than a decade now ever since coming to this county, it never occurred to me that I will be duped for $300 discount. Might as well just told us that we will not get any from the very beginning we would've made a second thought of buying another phone. I had visit the store on 07/27/2023 because I was having issues with the phone the IPhone pro max and i was speaking with Shane the manager and the way he treated me as manager was very disrespectful. He did not want to help at all he would not even look at my account to see the notes that customer service. I was only African American in the store and i was not all treated fairly when it came to the manager of that store and the way he treated me and i told i would like to speak with someone else because he was not even willing to look at my account he told me no one else would help me. The Verizon store next to Walmart (Harter Pwy) has horrible service. Day 1 went to have my iPhone (voice mail) fixed. After an hour: Not fixed. Day 2 the next day I went back and they tried again for over an hour. Again, not fixed. The young man didn't appear very confident in what he was doing. The manager was of no value, when the problem escalated to her. At one point the young man spend a lot of time "socializing" with a couple of friends about some party or event they had attended. Little got done on my problem, while I just sat and watched another futile effort by this Horrible Verizon store. PS: Went to a Verizon store in Vallejo, and walked out in 15 minutes with a phone that worded again. Its amazing what a difference in employees /managers makes. I had come to this store to buy a new phone. They were out of the color that I wanted...no big deal. But after leaving, I realized that the employee added phone insurance (which was never mentioned or asked for), so I had to get that reversed. She also offered to put my screen protector on which I accepted. I noticed bubbles, but she claimed that they would go away with the heat. Nope...it started lifting. I went back to have this issue corrected. A male employee asked to look at my phone, messes with it, and tells me he fixed the problem...instead of replacing the screen protector. It's still lifting. DO NOT go through Verizon for anything. They will LIE to you and not honor any promotions they have going on. Then they will call you a liar and STEAL your money. Backstory: Seen online there was a promotion for a buy one get iPhone 13 online only. Went into the store to see if they could assist me with doing this as I wasn't finding how to go about it. I explained I was trying to upgrade two lines on my plan and the guy said he couldn't assist but to call 611 and they could help with no issues. I called and was told the promotion required a new line but based off information I was provided in store they would go ahead and honor the deal of the buy one get one. I then paid the upgrade fees and taxes on the items to then be told they were not going to honor it after all. I asked them to cancel my purchase if they were going to not honor something I was told they would after I paid. They claimed they cancelled the order however I noticed a tracking number pop up on my account a few days later. I called and was told that nothing I said was true and it was never a real deal. I then informed her there were notes on the account and the lady read the notes but then told me I made the promotion up. From there I received a partial refund and was told I'd be lucky if I receive the rest of my money. This company is whack. They will lie and steal your money and corporate is useless as they don't call you back. I've now reported them for fraud and will be leaving Verizon for a different company because I prefer decent customer service over the crap Verizon will give you. read more

Was totally lied to and I wished now that I had gotten the gentleman's name that waited on me. I went in to buy a new screen protector for my S20+ 5G and was told the " ultra visionguard " was the best because it came with a "Free Lifetime Warranty" and all you have to do is register this product online and "you're good to go." Come to find out that was an Absolute LIE! So, I paid $50.00 believing this dude. Well, 2 mos later I am noticing several bubbles ..I looked up the replacement screen at Zagg.com and come to find out it is NOT free. It costs $8 + for them to send you a replacement after just paying the $50.00 two months ago. I made purchase on August 30th and the return policy was for 30 days, today is September 30th and the rep. said I could not return it for credit because today was the 31st day. WTF? Went in to place an order for a new phone that process went ok. Was told they didn't know how to bill the card and it needed to go on the company account, ok I guess. Took a picture of the agents screen because no confirmation email was going to be sent only a tracking number when it was shipped. Was supposed to have the phone in three weeks. That time comes and goes and when I call and check on the order it had been magically canceled. Apparently I didn't confirm a confirmation email. I search all emails associated with the accounts nothing, customer service can't tell me when it was sent or to where; perfect. Neither the people in the store or verizon customer service have any answers other than well sorry. My suggestion is if you cant walk out with it, don't bother go somewhere else. read more

I was at the Verizon store in the Yuba-Sutter Mall for an hour and a half, and had not even begun to get any help. They put my name on a list to be helped, while they were helping two other customers. A lady employee finished helping one of the customers, and that was it. I saw her a few times after, but she did not say anything to me, or the other two customers who entered the store after I did. When the man finished with his customer, I heard him ask someone if he could go to lunch, and he was gone. Once again the employee didn't say anything to us, the customers. The guy he asked if he could go to lunch, was just standing by the entrance with his back to us. During the time I was there, I saw four employee's, yet none of them offered any assistance. I ended up leaving with my phone I purchased in September, that was malfunctioning. Now, it is the next day, and I am dreading another trip to a Verizon store. read more

Okay, so they don't have the iphone. But they do have something att has never had. Great customer service. Had att before. Customer service doesn't exist there. I've had problems with my blackberry (for Verizon) and they were quick to replace it for no extra charge. No matter what the issue has been, I have always received the best customer service possible.
