Yes, I felt overwhelmed by the options but I'm not sure if I would have it any other way. I went in after checking the menu on my phone and showed it to the cashier. I did not know they had an area to check off the items you want in your bowl until after I sat down. If you're curious, that area is to the right immediately when you walk in but the counter to order is straight ahead. I ordered a regular T-OP Poke Bowl and Thai Milk Tea. Both were exceptional! Had spicy tuna and spicy salmon and both tasted very fresh. Also, added cabbage for crunch and texture along with wonton and garlic crisps. It was a great experience with different flavor explosions with every bite. Plenty of spots to sit with well-regulated air on one of the hotter days in Franklin. We are trying out different places' boba, and T-op was a good experience! It is a cool, quiet, escape from the hot, busy street. The staff are quick and experienced, even for us as we were in a hurry. We only tried the boba teas. Strawberry milk tea was refreshing, but still quite sweet even at 50% sugar. (Apparently this is common with milk tea, so it certainly pays to do your research if you aren't familiar with what you're getting into!) The popping boba was a good addition. Personally I didn't enjoy the texture of the jelly, but that's just a preference. But overall it was a great experience at a very reasonable price! read more

We regularly order takeout from T-op but have eaten inside the restaurant as well. Inside is pretty casual, bright and clean. The service is always very quick and friendly but most important accurate. Then there's the food. We get regular sized T-op bowls, they are plenty big even for my husband. I love that you can customize the bowl so everyone gets what they want. My personal bowl has noodles, steak (super tender!), green onion, broccoli, cabbage, edamame and carrot! I get the yum yum and spicy mayo sauce on the side but I have had it added to the bowl (forgot to ask for it on the side) and it was perfect that way too! This is a great local spot with fresh ingredients. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious! The staff is always more than friendly! Give it a try! read more

When you first walk in, you need to go to the 2nd counter for Poke. The first counter is Boba/ice cream. They also have sheets where you can build your own bowl, then hand it to the cashier! This makes the checkout process very easy, with no time-pressure to decide your options. The large poke bowl had very fresh ingredients, but could use more protein. I see this often in poke places, but this seemed to be less protein than others. There are many good options for toppings. 5 toppings come in a bowl, and 3 proteins. Ahi tuna raw or grilled is $2 extra, and a double scoop of any protein is $3 extra. I do appreciate they had a few Grilled meat options for people who do not prefer Raw. They were very generous with the spicy mayo and it was delicious.. All in all, a good lunch. $20 total for a large bowl, would've been ~18-19 without the tuna addition. A little pricey for lunch for 2, so we shared 1 bowl. read more

I visited T-op on Saturday, December 12, 2020 around 8 pm. I think this place is a bit overrated based on the price value and my experience. I decided to come here for poke and I found it to be underwhelming. I felt like a some of the common ingredients that are offered at no charge at other poke places shouldn't be charged extra. However, I appreciate that they offered a variety of grilled ingredients that most poke places do not offer. Poke bowls are mostly supposed to be raw sushi bowls, but having cooked protein options on the menu adds something for those who can't eat raw, which is nice. I think the drinks are pretty average and taste too much of artificial flavor at regular sweetness. I'd request reduce sugar level if you can. The dining area is kept very clean and you can tell this place follows necessary precautions during COVID-19 pandemic. Service was super friendly. This family run business is one of the best places I have been to in so long. We lived in Hawaii for awhile and I make my own poke all the time. The quality of their product is some of the best I have ever had. Their tuna is fantastic, the masago is real and sushi grade. The noodle bowls are wonderful, as well as the rolled ice cream and bubble teas. Above and beyond, the family is so conscientious and it shows. I visited this place after a long walk craving for a cold treat. They said they weren't serving ice cream, which was pretty disappointing considering it's one of T-op's specialties. I got coconut bubble tea instead. The boba was undercooked and gummy and the tea was overwhelmingly sweet. There are far better bubble tea places in town. Next time, when you're walking around downtown Franklin and you're craving something cool and sweet, stroll a few blocks down from T-op and visit Kilwin's instead. They pour your chosen sweet concoction onto a shield of dry ice and mix it up til they can scrape it into ice cream rolls. I got a simple peanut butter with Oreos, graham crackers, and chocolate syrup and it was so creamy and didn't melt right away into a milk shake.
