    Spinach dip

LOVED IT!! While in Disney Springs I decided to have dinner here. I didn't regret my decision. I LOVED IT!! I ordered the Shark Water non-alcoholic drink it was great. I ordered the spinach dip appetizer and the shrimp bowl entree both were DELICIOUS!! The food portions are huge and even though I didn't have room for dessert I saw their huge sizes as well. My server, Carlos, was very nice and welcoming. Carlos was extremely busy but I could see him constantly looking my way to make sure I was ok. Don't let the noise level bother you the food and service more than make up for it plus it's entertaining. I'll definitely dine here again!

When the grand says wow this is better than all of seaworld... not sure how to respond lol Chef cane out to take my gluten free order! Ample choices, priced as expected with above average taste!

A must do for my family every year we visit Disney! Food and drinks are always delicious and our son actually eats his food... every time. We love the atmosphere and use our Landrys membership to have a shorter wait time and redeem points.

T-Rex Cafe is super cool. The ambiance of this place remind me of the movie Jurassic Park. Many cool drinks and cocktails. The service is blazing fast. The decor of this place is pretty awesome with even a large lifesized T-Rex. They also have things to sell like merchandise that reflect the dinosaur age. They even have a sandlot filled with dinosaur bones.

One star and I gonna explain why. My daughter graduated from vpk today, we were Going to another restaurant but their friends would go to t-rex, so we arrived here, 36 and they split us into 6 tables, ok! Kids were having good moments, I ordered a beer and arrived 25 minutes later than the first beer another father order. That's fine too, we were in a huge group. Food was really good, I ordered my second beer that never come, so I asked about my beer. When my check come, had 5 dollars extra charge as a mushroom pizza topping (that was 0,99 cents on menu) and 3 beers, I just had 2 I said to our waiter RAFAEL that I just had 2 beers, one Floridian and one hazy ipa and he started shouting I had 3. So another waitress come and said, no, he just had 2 beers we missed one. I don't like to be judge like that, I always pay what I ordered even if they forgot to add at the bill, but don't blame for your fault

After spending the week at Disney for a conference, decided to bop over to Disney Springs before heading home. Walking around at lunch time, we were trying to figure out what to have for lunch. I kept telling my friend, I'm just hungry, it really makes no difference to me where we go, as long as they have food. We ended up at T-Rex. Would this have ever been a choice for me? Absolutely not. But was the food good? I certainly liked what I had. I ended up getting a grain bowl with chicken and had a flashy margarita. It's a lot of kitsch and clearly for kids/families, but I couldn't complain about the meal I had. The one thing I was slightly disappointed in was the amount of time it took our bill to be run. We set our card out right away and we still sat for about 20 minutes before it was ran. If you can handle a little dinosaur crazy with kids, T-Rex is overall not too shabby.

I met up with some family for lunch in Disney Springs today since they were just in town for the weekend to visit the parks. My dad & sister wanted to take my son & nephew to the T-Rex Cafe since they're both in their dino-loving era right now. In all the years I have lived in Orlando, I've not once dined here. The themed ambience is pretty cool and the little ones loved it! The entire place is completely decked out with animatronic dinosaurs, light shows, sound effects, and wall to wall decor. My son (almost 2 yrs old) was in awe and just kept pointing at everything saying wowwwww. To be honest, I did not have high expectations for the food, but I was pleasantly surprised. I went with the Sunset Isle Salmon which is a grilled salmon fillet served over an orzo pasta with zucchini, bell peppers, olives, tomatoes, garbanzo beans, and feta. The salmon was very tasty and cooked perfectly. It was on the pricier side ($36.99) but was a very generous portion - enough for two meals. My family also ordered the Boneyard Buffet (rotisserie chicken, St. Louis style spareribs, fries, & coleslaw), the coconut shrimp, BBQ bacon cheeseburger, and kids mac & cheese. Everyone enjoyed their meals and it was more than enough food. The service was a bit slow with so many tables and a very crowded restaurant, but our server was extremely friendly and accommodating even if things took a bit longer than expected. I highly suggest having your party be ready to order when they first greet your table if possible. Also just a note that stroller parking is outside of the restaurant (as with most DS restaurants).

This is a wonderful place to visit with kids! They have dinosaurs everywhere and the entire place lights up and you hear dinosaur sounds every so often. There was even a section where they were able to dig for bones. The kids were definitely impressed. The kids food was ok for kids food but we were pleasantly surprised by how good the adult food was. The salmon and veggie burger were great!

5 Star across the board! Nikoll was our server and took great care of us. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The portions were also large. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and upgraded to Fries. My wife had the Cobb salad and my daughter had the mozzarella sticks with Dino-chicken. All the food was fresh, hot and well presented. The place was extremely busy and we were told that it would be an hour waiting, but after 10 minutes they called us for our table. As busy as it was, we had no problems with the quality of service or timeliness of food. I would highly recommend you come here. The atmosphere is amazing, especially for the kids.

    Build a Dino!

Found in Disney Springs, T-Rex is the Rainforest Cafe with dinosaurs. It's tough to visit without a (very) advance reservation. Inside is dimmed with lighting made for a dino to roam and periodically a few of them come alive to roar. You come for the experience versus the basic food. The gift shop is fun to browse even without a reservation. If your kid (or you) are dinosaur fans there's plenty to choose from, including a "build your own dino" plus outfits.

Crab and shrimp gratin, chimichurri grilled shrimp, char-grilled sirloin steak, steak butter, Raptor rice, seasonal vegetables.

Pretty cool spot for the kids. Kind of like rain forest cafe. It's themed and every now and then the room makes noises or a show happens. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was pretty good. The kids enjoyed their food and we enjoyed ours. Really good spot to enjoy with the family.

We were so excited to find a T-Rex Cafe in Orlando--years ago there was one in Kansas City, and I used to take my kids there, so it felt really special to experience it again with them after all this time. The place itself is awesome--such a fun, immersive dining experience that kids absolutely love. We went on a Saturday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away! The food was okay, but the service really stood out. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and made the experience even better. I definitely recommend it for families with kids--it's more about the experience than the food, and it delivers on that!

My son loves dinosaurs so we brought him for his birthday dinner and he absolutely loved this restaurant. There's a little souvenir shop in the entrance. The hostesses were very friendly. I suggest you make a reservation but they do accept walk ins. It's in Disney springs so it's in a great location. The restaurant is amazing, with surrounding life sized dinosaurs and different themed rooms. They also have a meteor show every 15 mins which is pretty cool. The food was pretty delicious! Our server Hanoum was so beautiful and kind hearted, & provided quick service. Thank you for a great experience.

T-Rex Cafe Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - T-Rex Cafe

Are reservations needed, or can u walk up easily for dinner?

You can walk up but i recommend going as soon as they open. You'll get a number and you'll have to wait. Wait time might be sooner than stated! They'll text you when your table is ready. In the meantime you can walk around!

I am by myself traveling for business. Would I enjoy this place as a single adult?

Only if sitting in the bar area, personally I'd choose somewhere else. Much better options for a single adult.

    Does this place take reservations?

I had to make make it through the Disney app

How can I make a reservation for next Sunday for 6 people?

Very difficult! I used an app called stakeout.. it alerted me when reservations opened up

Do you have availability for four people tomorrow January 16th at 6?

Hey I just checked on my Disney app. It says there's availability for 4 at 545pm but I would reserve asap!

Do you have to make a reservation if you're a Landry member?

Hi Jacqueline, we recommend making a reservation by calling 407-939-3463. Thank you.

Do you have to make a reservation to eat here?

    Yes

Do they accept Disney gift cards as payment?

Yes they do. I've done it before.

Is this restaurant open for inside dining? Not actually a question it is open in case you are wondering?

Is this restaurant inside the amusement park or outside that anyone can go?

It's inside Disney springs. (Not inside the theme park) we had a wonderful experience and the waiter was very honest and professional. We accidentally left a large cash tip and a large tip on the card and he chased us down because he said he didn't…

Are reservations required or can we walk-in?

You can walk in but reservations would definitely be the best option. The walk-in line can get really long so if going with kids I would recommend a reservation

This place was an amazing spot to eat at in Disney Springs and had some of the best food I ate…read moreduring my trip in Florida. 4.5/5 We came pretty late to the establishment after a long day at the theme parks. We were staying at a Holiday Inn near Disney Springs so we decided to come here for a late dinner. One of the best decisions made here. We did a late night walk through the shopping center and landed here around 9:50 pm. It was pretty late and we worried there would be no seats but we were seated promptly. The establishment was very ambient, cozy, and well furnished. I liked the warm, glowing atmosphere of the restaurant. The server was extremely polite and took our order quite soon. We were starving after a long day but the food came out in around 20ish minutes which wasn't too bad. The serving sizes were quite huge. We didn't expect this much food for two portions. For $34 per plate, the dishes were large and came with a large helping of sides. The fried chicken was extremely crispy and juicy. They originally wanted to serve the food quickly/more fresh so they served a chicken thigh to me after on a second plate. They also forgot my substitution of Mac n cheese for mash potatoes so I got a free helping of mash which was sweet. The pickled cucumber was light and fresh which tasted great with the heavier chicken. The potatoes were a little heavy and I wish came with gravy, but still delicious. I really loved the Mac n cheese and finished that up. The chicken steak was also delicious with the grits but a little too salty. Wish they added the grits to the side for me to dip as it became a little too much at times. It was better to eat it with a side of potatoes to balance the flavor. The broccolini was sautéed perfectly and delicious, could eat a whole plate of those alone. The biscuits weren't bad but tasted better eaten with the potatoes. The food was a little heavy but so so good. We had to take half of the food to our hotel and ate it the next day for dinner as it was way too much food for one meal. Even after microwaving it, the food was just as delicious and flavorful. We spent about $80 but had so much food leftover. An expensive dinner, but everything tasted amazing. Would definitely come back if I had the chance.

When we ordered, we were also told they offer a military discount, which was definitely a nice surprise. After ordering, we were shown to our table and luckily there were enough seats for our whole family because the place was pretty busy. I thought the meat could have used a little more seasoning, but they have a self-serve BBQ sauce station with different sauces, so we tried a few of those and they definitely helped add some extra flavor. The ordering process is simple, you place your order with the cashier at the front. During the dinner rush, expect a long line, but it moves at a steady pace. If you visit during off peak hours, ordering is much quicker. After placing your order, you find a table, and a server brings your food directly to you. For our meal, we ordered: Ribs - They had a rich smoky flavor with a perfectly seasoned dry rub, and the barbecue sauce added just the right amount of sweetness and tang. Brisket - The brisket was cooked perfectly with a flavorful bark on the outside and a moist, tender center. Every bite was packed with smoky goodness and melted in your mouth. Sliced Turkey - The sliced turkey was surprisingly moist and full of flavor. It had a light smoky taste and was anything but dry, making it an excellent choice alongside the other meats. What impressed me most was how quickly our food arrived, even with the restaurant being busy. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly, the dining area was clean, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. If you're visiting Disney Springs and craving quality barbecue without the wait of a table service restaurant, The Polite Pig is an excellent choice. I would definitely eat here again.

At the entrance to his cave, I had to disarm several traps, including floor spikes, poison darts, and a tablet demanding a 25% tip--with no obvious option to leave no tip. Fortunately, I discovered the hidden button in the bottom-right corner, written in 8-point Times New Roman. At last, I reached the altar containing the legendary treasure chest. When I opened it, I found a shirt that read, "I'd Rather Be at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar," along with flyers for the Halloween and Christmas events. That discovery led me to this wonderfully themed bar. This is a double review covering both the Halloween and Christmas events. These events used to be relatively easy to attend, but thanks to social media influencers, they have become extremely popular. The lines can get enormous, especially from Friday through Sunday. My advice is to visit Tuesday through Thursday and arrive early. The food was great, and the presentation--especially for the Halloween offerings--was fantastic and definitely Instagram-worthy. The specialty drinks were delicious and surprisingly strong for a Disney restaurant, although they do come with the expected Disney price tag. I've also visited when the bar wasn't decorated for a holiday, and it was still a great time. The regular food offerings are just as good, and the portions are fairly generous. The standard drinks are also perfectly enjoyable. If the weather isn't too hot, I recommend sitting outside by the lake. You'll have a beautiful view of the boats passing by, and the scenery around sunset is incredible. A fantastic spot for food, drinks, atmosphere, and the occasional archaeological revelation.
