The softshell crab was pricy, but was very fresh and tasty. The oysters were fine in taste but plentiful. Each comes with 2 sides. The sides we ordered were 2sides of fried okra, a potato salad, and sweet potato fries. All of the sides were fried to perfection and had sufficient seasoning and texture. The main issue was that our waiteress forgot our utensils for a solid 10 minutes. Not a huge issue, but a slight disappointment.

I had my food by about 11:40, which I thought was a very reasonable wait considering how busy they were. Once you placed your order, they were calling names within just a few minutes. The staff seemed organized and kept things moving. I ordered one of the crab special, which advertised as including two eggs. I was actually really looking forward to them--I had even texted my partner beforehand asking if we should order extra eggs! Unfortunately, when I got my order, there weren't any eggs included. It did come with extra crab clusters, so maybe that was meant as a substitute, but I would have preferred the meal to match the menu. I also paid for two extra cups of butter but only received one. As for the food itself, the flavor was good, though not something I'd personally crave often. I also wish there had been spice level options since I enjoy my seafood much spicier. I understand it's a food truck, so there are naturally some limitations. I also hung around in the area and noticed they were still serving an hour plus after I got my order- with only 5-7 people in line. That being said- they had plenty, so no need to be there right at opening... Overall, I had a positive experience. The service was efficient, the operation was well-run, and despite a couple of missing items, I'd still recommend giving The Crab Man a try. Just be sure to double-check your order before you leave.

Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I've been back just for those alone. 10/10. I also tried the Bayou Mac & Cheese which was creamy, flavorful, and cooked well. My only complaint is that it was topped with tomatoes, which wasn't listed on the menu, so I would've asked for it without them, but no big deal. We also had the Cajun Pasta which was good as well.
