We came here after a long study day and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. We passed these 2 crepes around like our lives depended on it. It was delicious, we started with the short rib crepe, having low expectations. It went above and beyond. It was so flavorful and pretty filling. The dubai chocolate strawberry crepe had the perfect crunch and sweetness. I would recommend the bigger size, it was perfect to share. Oh what a delicious dessert to end a birthday with! Totally satisfying! We were initially looking for ice cream places but most were closed at 9pm, then we found this place.The ordering was quick but it took half an hour to prepare. Good break to take a short stroll outside while waiting. The store was full with many people waiting, mostly students. One Crêpe can be shared by two medium built people after dinner because it's very filling. The chocolate nut party was a party in my mouth- gelato was good, mouse truffles were great, nuts were sufficient and the Crêpe itself very fresh. The syrup on the gelato was avoidable. Every time I come here, it's specifically for a crepe brulee with strawberries. That being said, I've come here multiple times and I was a bit disappointed by my experience this time. I didn't know they changed the crepe sizes because there used to only be one, so I assumed "regular" was referring to the previous size and "big size" was referring to something even larger because I did use the kiosk and the sizes displayed above it say "regular" and "mini" with no mention of a big size. So basically, keep in mind that a regular-sized crepe brulee is the same size as a mini of any other crepe because it's not made clear if you're using the kiosk to order. Secondly, my crepe was cold. It seemed like it had been sitting out and wasn't a fresh one, which I've never experienced here before. Even so, it was still delicious. read more

What I love about this place is that the crepes are made fresh to order and aren't sitting out. It's nice to bite into a warm, crispy crepe that isn't limp and lifeless by the time you get it. The savory crepes are generous in size and stuffed with tasty filling. My favorite menu item here was the creme brûlée milk tea. The presentation is amazing and the drink tasted even better than it looked!! It actually tasted like creme brûlée custard yet it wasn't too sweet. I can't wait to get this drink again! Such a welcome change from the regular ice cream cones. The crepes were so soft and cooked to perfection along with their extensive menu of pre-selected flavour combinations are amazing! Being the chocolate nut myself chocolate nut party was amazing. The service and ordering screen was also quick and easy to use. We reached around 9:20 and by the time we were leaving it was 9:40pm very close to their closing time and while we were in the seating area, they started the cleaning already. It was only concerning because I didn't want any dust particles to sit on our food. Other than that the place is really fun and has amazing food! Last time I came I got a crème brûlée crepe which was super delicious. However, today the quality was not as great. The crepe was kinda cold and the toppings did not meet the standards. Good stuff! First time I came here. I had the Thai chicken and despite it saying it was spicy, it was mild -- which is good because I didn't want heat. That being said, there definitely was a hint of fish - maybe oyster/fish oil in the sandwich which I didn't like. I'm not allergic to fish, but the taste makes me nauseous. So, having that hint of flavor made it very difficult to enjoy the crepe. Boba teas were good! Had the brown sugar milk tea and was good. Time: August 2022 Ambience: There is street parking outside, and the a good amount of seating for patrons inside. The interior is a little dated and the tables feel a little sticky, but generally, the place looks well kept. There are also little shelves and a fridge on the side of the entrance that sells snacks and to-go drinks. They also have an electronic ordering machine if you don't want to order at the cash register. Their menu is a little hard to read and confusing, so I like to use the ordering machine to see better pictures and accurate pricing of the menu items. This place is high on my list for New Haven boba. They also have really yummy, and well made crepes. I am always fascinated by the decorative menu examples in the outside window. - Boba: I've only tried the original flavors (milk tea, honey milk tea) and I think they're pretty good. There is a detectable tea taste with a nice sweetness (100% is on the sweeter end, so I recommend 75%). It tastes like your OG milk tea. The boba is soft and chewy. It's more expensive for what I'm used to for boba (~$6.5), but average for New Haven sadly. They also don't have that many flavors, but they make the ones that they do have taste yummy. - BLT Crepe: the crepe was thin, soft, with crispy edges... delicious! They know how to make a quality crepe, I would just but it to snack on if the offered to sell just the crepe! The toppings were also plentiful and fresh. There was the perfect ratio of items to get a full flavor profile (little bit of everything) with each bite. The toppings include: tomato, bacon, lettuce, ... expensive for a snack (~$14), but standard crepe pricing and it is satisfying (I got hungry soon after though, so not as filling). - Vegetarian crepe: I usually don't get the vegetarian options, but I got this as an event meal. I was pleasantly surprised. The crepe is amazing as always, but they also included a nice mix of veggies for a crunchy and soft texture. The sauce was also savory and sweet-- it paired well with the edamame. My favorite ingredient was the occasional piece of juicy, sweet corn kernels! The shredded carrots were not that good though (no crunch, kind of soggy/old). Overall, New Haven doesn't really have any boba places that wow my taste buds (you have to go to CA for that!), but I have been to this place a couple of times to get their boba because it does the job for when I'm craving something sweet and chewy. Their crepes are really good though, so I'd recommend going to try the crepes if you are in the area! read more

If you're going to break your diet, do it at T-Swirl!! I was one of the first customers to visit when they first opened and I go at least every quarter (can't over do it). I always get the banana&strawberry crepe with Nutella and chocolate drops (forgot the actual name of it). You get to see them make your crepe right in front of you which is fun! The ambience in there is pretty nice. Very spacious and just the right amount of lighting. I've never dined in but it takes about 10-12 minutes for them to make your crepe so you really get a chance to take it all in. read more
