My favorite drink is an Earl grey milk tea with pudding paired with some basil chicken. This review is about my experience. The quality of boba is really good and the food is really yummy. Just very disappointed that the customer service lacked in this particular situation. About a couple of weeks ago, and after drinking some of my drink I noticed that There's was a fly in it. No big deal it happens, but when I came back to hopefully get a replacement drink, they refused to give me one and just offered a free topping. Seriously??? It probably costs $1.00 to make the drink. The best review I've given for a place I didn't actually go to. I contacted T4 for ~100 total servings of tea (mango green tea + oolong milk tea) for my wedding and couldn't have been happier. I worked with Jen over a couple weeks on order, which included figuring out transportation, timing, pricing, and more. I didn't even know it was in the shopping center until I searched for a new boba place on Yelp and it popped up . It was a little confusing because on the door there is a sign that says you can only call and order over the phone . So I called from my car and was told that I could come inside and order . Stopped by here for the first time while in the area, and did not have a good experience. Came in on a Saturday afternoon, and ordered two milk teas with boba. My order took forever to be made, as I waited for well over 20 minutes. For two milk teas, basic ones at that (Thai tea and Taro Milk tea), it shouldn't take that long. They had two employees working, and the store wasn't that busy. There was one group of 4 ahead of me, and two couples after me, so not too crazy. The drink itself was decent. Oh the Taro Root Smoothie, how I adore thee, with red beans and sometimes lychee, it almost seems like I'm having a little taste of halo halo sometimes lol I appreciate the control I get to have over how sweet and how much ice I want, and that the service is always nice. I always get taro milk tea, and it happens to be their #1 seller. When we placed our orders, I was confused by the price I was charged. It didn't seem like it was enough. But one in particular caught my eye..The Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($3.50) with "Boba" ($.50) Breakdown - I had never had or seen this flavor before. So with it being something new to me, I had to have it. Let me say this....If you like tea, milk, and brown sugar..then this drink is the way to go. Like, this milk tea was soooooo well balanced. Like the flavors paired together like a symphony on my tongue. The tea showed up, the brown sugar gave it that right amount of sweetness (I went 80%) and the milk gave it that ultimate round off. I really enjoyed this drink. Service - Veronica is really nice and greeted me with a smile as well as her co-worker. Despite my sister trying this place and having a pretty bad experience with her order , we couldn't pass up on their soft opening drink special. ( all drinks $2.50 but they charge .50 extra for boba ) We ordered 3 drinks for $9.50. Aside from the drinks being more on the sweeter side (my fault for forgetting to get half/less sugar) the drinks were pretty good. *Passion Fruit Smoothie was tarty and sweet at the same time. Didn't get boba with that but overall it was good. * Matcha Latte with small pearls was very tasty but just a little too sweet . (Note to self , get less sugar ) *Lychee Smoothie w/ Aloe and big boba had a lot of flavor and they were very generous with the boba . Again it was more on the sweet side but overall good. I usually wait a few times of trying the place out before I give a 4 star because in the past after a place has been open for a while , quality and service starts to go down so let's hope this place maintains their good rating. As expected , place is new therefore the inside of this location is very clean. Love the Tiffany Blue color scheme they have going . Employees were very friendly . I'm sure I will be back if not for sure my son will be because it located so close to out house and his school . I had a pretty disappointing experience tonight. I called at 8:17PM to order food before they closed their kitchen at 8:30PM. I didn't want to be inconsiderate and ask for food right before they closed the kitchen, so I decided to call ahead. When I finally arrived to pay for my food and drinks at 8:30, they told me someone closed the egg puffs machine early. I asked this girl in a UCSC cap why, and she said the person didn't follow instructions and decided to turn of the egg puffs machine earlier than usual. This is my usually go to place for boba but after tonight I'll NEVER GO BACK. I was there on 12/22 around 5:45 pm. My family hung out for a bit as we ordered food. Around 6pm a guy walks in with his adorable DOG, orders a drink, chats up with the cashier as I'm sure they are friends, sets his DOG on the counter not once but twice. I see at least two employees pet this dog and then proceed to prepare food without washing her hands. This guy and his dog hangs out for 15-20 mins. At one point the guy even let's go of the dog's leash and the dog runs over and hides by a customer's feet. The employees seem comfortable with the dog as they chat with the guy. On my way out I discretely tell the employee at the cash register "are you aware that animals are not allowed at food establishments?" In which he responds "yeah yeah". I tell him "that guy set his dog on your countertop twice" in which he responds "yeah I know, I'm going to wipe the counter top" (mind you the dog has left now for about 20 mins and he had no intention of wiping that counter top) So I reiterate "it is illegal to have an animal in here" and he responds "thank you for letting us know". I am very upset as this employee was not apologetic of his mistake. I leave and call him on the phone. It's a local business and there were customers there, I didn't want to make a big scene and punish the owners for an employee's mistake. So I get him on the phone and tell him that I noticed he didn't wash his hands nor did the 2nd employee wash their hand after petting the dog. He immediately got defensive and insisted he didn't handle food afterwards and did wash his hands. Ok but he washed his hands 15 mins after he petted the dog! I'm always happy to cough up some cash when it comes to boba but I just bought a large boba pf/peach milkshake with almond milk and my total was $9.25... I know the inflation rates are crazy right now but I've never paid so much for a single cup of boba with so few modifications. This is probably the most expensive cup of boba I've ever bought and no competitor around the area is charging this much. Starbucks doesn't even cost me $10 for a crazy customized venti drink! Quickly is cool, & mom & pop shops are nice to support-- but it's even better to have an array of franchises to chose from. ESP the fresh mixed tea type of shops. The decor inside is clean and appealing, open to students (DVHS & the like) to come & hang out as traditional boba/tea pearl houses usually are. I'm hoping this place stays around. Drinks are yummy & service is very friendly. The owner smiles at you when you walk in. I hope they start a stamp card system soon because customers should get at least 1 free drink if they're buying 10+/month.. AND bringing my friends along with then to buy more drinks.. I absolutely love this place. It definitely is a couple of steps up above QuickLy because of the variety of real quality teas. I first stumbled on Tea 4 U in Fremont California. It was a brand new location and I was in awe. So of course one could imagine my surprise when I saw that they were opening up one around the corner from where I always am. My favorite tea hands down is the Apple Tea Smoothie with Aloe it's sooooo refreshing depending on who makes it sometimes it can be a little too much on the sweet meter but other than that it is still my favorite. Every time I go in there I try to get something different. The ambiance is laid back. The owner has stocked the place with plenty of board games enticing customers to stay and hang out while enjoying their beverage. The customer service is always great and now I want a drink from there as we speak lol read more

I worked in a massive kitchen in a convention center for 8 years so I know that their oil is old unclean oil . It leaves an aftertaste that taste bitter and gross . Me and my bf thought it was pepper at first but after tasting it and having the feeling of burnt paper in my mouth did I realize it was the basil . I regretted everything and anything I've ever gotten from here and this will be my last time getting scammed . I love the selection. But not consistent with the drinks. I order two drinks - rose milk tea and the avocado smoothie. Sometimes it's really good and at times it's just okay. Not sure why it tastes different at different times when it should be the same recipe.
