Came here with a friend for dinner a few nights ago because we wanted something healthy but hearty. I have always seen this place on DoorDash through the app but never ordered it. It looked good, but was a bit far for delivery. Came here in person and wasn't disappointed! It was dinner time on a Monday, and they weren't too busy inside. They seemed pretty busy with to-go orders, though. They seem to be doing well. My friend and I both got the Godfather, which was delicious: chicken, broccoli, portobello mushrooms with a light sauce. What a flavorful and light combination. I didn't feel "gross" after eating it, which is awesome. Sometimes eating at other less healthy places, I feel a bit bloated from all the sodium. But not here! Staff was friendly and pretty quick - we had our food within 15 minutes and were able to have a nice conversation in the quiet dinning area. We would definitely come back. read more

I hadn't been to one of these since worked in San Ramon and had lunch with coworkers at that location. The one in Antioch is near the golf course, tucked in to a small shopping center. Staff was very friendly and there are lots of healthy options. I got the veggie wrap which had flavorful grilled veggies, rice and beans. It was a good portion size-not too much food but definitely was comfortably full . This isn't known for vegetarian options but you can ask for any of their other wraps or bowls without meat. I'd like to come back and try one of their bowls, flatbreads or smoothies. Clean seating area and pretty quick service. Solid healthy choice in the area. read more

3 stars bc of the consistency on the food. Sometimes the burger is a 5/5, others a 3/5 (over cooked). Same with the sweet potato fries. I know they're healthy but we've gotten raw and flavorless fries at times. Service is great though. Cashiers are always super friendly but food does take a few minutes after the pick up time they say. I do appreciate the food being hot though so I don't mind. 12/10 - INCREDIBLE FOOD & CUSTOMER SERVICE! We ordered 2 Santa Fe wraps ( one with and one without beans) and Arizona Bowl. Everyone loved their food so much! The owner is so kind and offered our family free samples of their Green juice smoothie and a papaya smoothie. Their smoothies are not syrup based . He made both smoothies right in front of me with pure vegetables and fruit. He didn't have to offer some, but he genuinely loves his store and his customers. I had lunch here with a friend on Friday. The place is clean and bright. They have seating but I think most people get to go orders. You order at the counter and then seat yourself. Their fountain drinks dispenser was out of order so our only beverage options were from the 'fridge and the selection there is limited. I had a California club burger, served on a whole wheat bun, with sweet potato fries. The sandwich is mostly a beef burger (you don't really taste the CA club additions). The burger was tasty--not the best one I have had, but decent. The fries were a bit lackluster. All in all a fine option for lunch that is a little healthier than the usual version of each dish they prepare. read more

This is my first time here. I have ordered spicy veggie wrap. The wrap came with spinach tortilla wrap with beets, rice, corn, green peppers, tomatoes and jalapeños. Overall it's a healthy wrap, not a tasty one (and it's not supposed to be one). There is very few places I found healthy and tasty going in cahoots. So don't want to deduct many stars for this. I really should be watching what I put in my mouth these days. =O. Most lunch choices around this area are fast and fatty. This is the second time we've gotten catering from MMG, and the variety this time was much better. I went with the veggie Arizona, and the sauce combined with fresh tomatoes and scallions were tasty enough to finish all the healthy brown rice. Will MMG be on my short list for lunches out? Ok now. We went for lunch on a Wednesday. Ample parking and their service is excellent. Maybe the server was new tho ? My friend ordered the jalapeño burger but when it came out , there were no jalapeños and later on they said they were out Sooo why didn't you tell us prior ? I ordered a chicken salad wrap which was way too salty. They said they didn't add any salt but something was in there. It made me cough and maybe I was allergic to something In their ingredients. They were very apologetic and gave us free smoothies. Which was really good. But later on , not sure how much sugar was in there cuz they didn't tell me that either. We both opted for the Vitality Wrap filled with lots of yummy goodness and grilled like a panini. It was superb! It has greens, quinoa, avocado, red potato, seeds, tahini, and some other tasty stuff. I also got The rejuvenator fresh juice that's disguised the beets really well lol. You can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner which is why they close at 9pm. I definitely liked having the two different texture blend bases. It added good flavor and texture to the bowl and I will continue to get it now. I also don't know why I never compared getting a build your own vs the predesigned options because I feel like the build your own is a better value for me vs the nutty bowl because I was able to add an additional item for the same price. I skipped out on the honey and added kiwi and strawberries. I like that every time we get our bowls they are consistent and keeps us coming back.

So making my way to the ever deserted Somersville Towne Center, I decided this day to make Surf City Squeeze my #BOTD stop and here is what I thought over all.. 6/22/16 I was out and about enjoying my day and running a few errands. It was pretty hot out that day and still recovering from my epic night in San Francisco just a few hours before, I needed something to hydrate me and to satisfy a craving I had for a drink with those.."Black Balls" or "Tapioca" in it and for it to be slushyfied! Service 4/5 Drink 3/5 The Drink: I made my way in the mall (Somersville Towne Center or Antioch Mall) and headed directly to the kiosk like operation that Surf City Squeeze uses for operation. I would say this place is mostly a smoothie and blended drink type of place, but they are venturing out and trying other styles of drinks on for size such as the "Boba and Coffee" drinks and light food that they now have on their menu. On this day, I opted for the Cantaloupe "FruitBoba" in a medium "20oz" size at $5.65 in total. In about 45 seconds..Yea I counted! I had my drink in hand. Me never had a Cantaloupe flavored drink, I was pretty excited to try this drink and flavor out. My impression was kinda a let down..not totally bad, but not totally good either. First off, if I order something called a "FruitBoba" I want to taste the fruity essence of the drink. This however tasted as if I was drinking a very milky Thai Iced Tea with a light Cantaloupe flavor added to it. And the "Blended" drink kinda didn't have that slushy quality that you would get if you went to a "Boba" joint and ordered a slush or even shaved ice drink. It almost tasted as if they chilled a bottle of Odwalla and served it to me with "Boba" and gave me my drink. Not what I was expecting at all, but I still drank it. Also they way over cooked the "Tapioca" with made it kinda...gritty and gooey instead of the gummy bear quality that most properly cooked tapioca seem to have. Will I go Back? Well I will say this, if I'm in the mall yes. But if I wanted to wait a little while and go across the street to Quickly or to the iTea by my house. I would choose this place last. Unless I was going here specifically for a smoothie. Then I would maybe choose this place first. In Conclusion, this joint has been in the Somersville Towne Center for sometime. I can't believe that I hadn't been here sooner. This place seems to have it appeal to some that come through the mall on their shopping or eating trips. It's located a few steps from Fallas Parades and has light seating around the kiosk. I would say if you come here for a drink, as always "Yelp" your own experience.
