Such a cute place! Street parking and place is intimate. Cute lil spot up front at window by the street to watch the sites. Very good sushi and ramen was also very tasty. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

The only catch is it's a tiny place with limited servers so the food does take a bit to come out, be prepared to be patient! it's totally worth it, they have everything from fresh fish to fried rice. First time coming here and it definitely won't be the last. Located on Mills is this cute small sushi restaurant. I walked in around 7pm on a Saturday night and was fairly busy. They have inside and outside sitting. I sat inside at the bar area and watched my sushi rolls being made which was super cool. I ordered the Crunch Roll and the College Roll, college was my favorite! My husband ordered the Dragon Ball Roll and the Sashimi platter. We also got hot sake, I loved it but my husband wasn't a fan. I will definitely be back when I am in the area!
Delicious traditional bento boxes in the heart of downtown orlando! Located right on Orange street downtown Orlando you are perfectly located for a great lunch and then on your way! Definitely recommend this place as they have a small and intimate service team which provides exceptional care for your meal.
Best sushi best ramen I've had any where! The vibe was chill and the service fast and fun and friendly! The prices were great! Worth sitting out side and watching the lake side views. I would come back and recommend the Spivey garlic edamame and the lion king roll!
This is my favorite sushi place in Orlando. The food is fantastic! It's very fresh, the space is small so it's very common that all the tables are full, but it's worth a wait. The service is always great, but never very hurried. If you're in a rush this is not the place for you.
I've been coming to Ta-Ke sushi since January 2022 and it still is one of my favorite sushi spots in all of FLORIDA. Not just Orlando. So consistent in quality & taste! Sometimes, I would even come to eat by myself. I love the location and scenery since it is located in the Lake Ivanhoe area! This is a hidden gem.. tiny and quaint inside, but it is truly such an amazing spot. Service is always superb. Will be coming back more and more and more. Much love!!
Our small trio stopped in here for dinner tonight while here for work at a conference down the street. The location in Ivanhoe Village is excellent. It is centrally placed near plenty of other places to grab a drink or bite to eat and also to enjoy the lake. It is a more intimate place with maybe ten tables, and it has a great view of the kitchen and sushi bar. Our group ordered some miso soup, the shrimp dumplings (Shrimp Shumai) and a hand full of of rolls - Mango Tango (without cream cheese), Heaven, spicy tuna, and California. They all came out beautifully presented on a wood platter. Everything we had was delicious! The Mango Tango roll had the sweetest mango pieces perfectly paired with the salmon. The classic spicy tuna and California roll were fresh and on point. The Heaven roll had the coconut shrimp In the middle of the roll mixed with some avocado. All around excellent service and delicious food! There are plenty of non-sushi options as well such as Japanese dishes or noodle soups. Ta-Ke has some of the most adventurous types of sushi, but they are well worth the try.

This place has horrible customer service and the ramen on my opinion is by far the nastiest tasteless ramen I have ever tasted in my life. I took one sip of the broth and immediately called the server over and said I'm sorry I really have never had Tonkotsu ramen that tasted like this before (didn't taste like Tonkotsu at all). The broth had no flavor and did not taste like it was made using pork bones. It tasted like it was instant ramen broth. I asked the server if I could replace it with sushi or something different. Considering I barely ate it. He then proceeded to say the universe doesn't revolve around me, well other people like it and a bunch of other rude comments.

Only about 30 seats or so, but more tables outside. I placed a Togo order and it was ready quick. I had 2 spicy tuna tolls. The prices were excellent and very affordable!! The presentation was nice, but I think overall the flavor just wasn't there. I usually order spicy tuna roll everywhere I go and I think this ranked lower on my list. I might try something else next time I come. Service was quick and friendly. Give it a try!

don't be in a hurry when you get here. It's fairly slow service so you can enjoy yourself. Slow down, relax. It is a very chill environment. Inside it has welcoming shapes, and colors. You will like the inside style of this place. It's very relaxing.

Ta-Ke might be my new go-to sushi spot! Cute little spot with really good-quality sushi and a nice, comfortable atmosphere. I got the Double Trouble Roll with double salmon--it had good proportions and I really liked the refreshing touch of lemon on top. I also tried the Flaming Roll, which had a nice kick from the jalapeño and a smoky flavor from the tuna. The picture also has a combo that came with some chef's special sushi and a couple of rolls, and everything was fresh and well put together. Service was quick and kind, too. Overall, a really nice spot for some quality sushi without feeling too formal. Definitely see myself coming back! read more

Such a cute spot in Ivanhoe. Service was great and quick! The menu was big and had so many good options. We started with the yellowtail appetizer and it was great! The sauce was the star. The ta ke deluxe was an amazing deal. The sushi was fresh and tasted great. I cannot wait to go back and try more! read more

Ta-Ke Sushi is a small sushi place along Ivanhoe Boulevard just across from Lake Ivanhoe. There are many tables inside (maybe seven tables and two counters for stools), but they also have some tables outside as well. The server was very attentive, kept us set with water and didn't take too long to take our order. The food preparation did take a little while though. I started with a house salad. The salad was okay, but the leafy greens were quite leafy and needed more dressing to tone down the texture and greeny-ness of the salad. My son and I ordered five sushi rolls: California, Mexican, another shrimp roll (can't remember the name) Japan Roll and the Fairy Tale Roll. The rolls were fresh and very tasty. I found the flavors of the Japan Roll and Fairy Tale Roll to be unique (which is what I was looking for). They also had a little spice which was good. The decor is a little run down, but the sushi was very good! read more

I wanted to do a sushi boat for my birthday; this spot had boats and also had other non-sushi items for the people in our group that don't care for sushi. The inside is pretty small. We had made reservations so fortunately were seated pretty quickly. Service was friendly, but a bit slow for things like beverages. We ordered shrimp wontons and gyoza for appetizers. I ordered a seaweed salad (yummy!). My boyfriend ordered steak teriyaki, one friend ordered her own sushi so she could have the varieties she enjoys, and the rest of us shared The Cruiser sushi boat. My boyfriend's steak teriyaki came out with the appetizers so he ended up eating his entree while we waited for our boat since the boats of course take time. Not a huge deal, but typically would have thought it would come out with the main meals. He found the teriyaki steak just okay. As far as the sushi goes, I thought it was really good and the rest of us eating it enjoyed it as well. It was a good variety, fresh, well prepared, and used sauce as an enhancement versus covering the sushi rolls to where you can't taste the fish as well like some places do. The Cruiser was a good size; four of us shared and were able to finish it without being overly full. At the end of the meal, the restaurant served a complimentary fried cheesecake for my birthday which we all shared and enjoyed. Overall, I enjoyed the sushi here and would definitely return! read more

I love this place, they offer great sushi and great prices!! For a sushi-bar in Lake Ivanhoe by the water - this spot is truly a hidden gem. They are always busy, food is always fresh, open until late, and staff is super friendly. I would recommend just dining in for sushi, I've never had their ramen or anything else other then sushi on the menu. Happy hour deals are super sweet too. I keep coming back here! :) read more

This is a hidden gem in College Park area. We go at least every other week. Their happy hour is the best if you love nigiri. The service is impeccable. The resturant itself is not terribly large but this is perfect because you never have to wait long for service. Even with the small size this place has a perfect date night setting. There also is outside seating for those who want to enjoy great sushi outside. read more

Arrived on a Wednesday close to 12:30PM. I was the only person in the restaurant at this time and opted for a seat outside as the weather and view was nice. They must get more business during happy hour and dinner as I have always seen it packed when I drive by in the evenings. Inside is dimly lit and your typical sushi joint with a sushi bar at the far end. Server was attentive and friendly as I waited for the other member of my party to arrive and throughout the visit. They had several lunch specials. I opted for the two roll special, I wish it would have come with more than just the rolls, maybe a salad or soup. The sushi was your typical rolls, nothing out of this world but yummy nonetheless. read more

This cozy location offers up insanely delicious rolls at an incredibly affordable price! I highly recommend grabbing a table outside or at the bar by the window so you can enjoy probably the best roll of sushi Orlando has to offer Perfect for an intimate date night or small group of friends. I want to start by saying super cute area, reminds me of an area similar to Miami. From the previous reviews I expected delicious amazing food and it felt a wee short. The food was good but it was generic and nothing out of the ordinary so say wooow. We had the beef tataki, the chicken dumplings, the chirashi bowl and two rolls one with crab and the other with tuna. The beef tataki was terrible I mean oh god. I would not be having this again considering it was just flavorless raw ish meat. The dumplings were delicious and the highlight was a sweet sauce that they came with. The chirashi bowl was nothing wow in comparison to other bowls we have had for example At seito. It just was so plain it didn't come with much and it felt underwhelming. The rolls I had were also a highlight. My spicy tuna was yummy and my crab roll was bomb!! Nothing that blew me away but I was happy because it was good. Overall the service was great we had a waitress who was very attentive and kind. We felt a bit rushed and we were the only table there with one more. It was a bit strange. Not all dishes are great but if you're in the area it's worth a visit to see for yourself! read more

Not too bad. Cute spot and the inside was pretty! I think they put all of their sushi on boats instead of plates. My husband ordered an actual Love Boat while I got two rolls and some sashimi. They both looked beautiful and I loved/appreciated the attention to detail they provided in their presentation. The rolls themselves were certainly not the best I've had. One was very dry and the other lacked some flavor depth to the roll. They were some of the most creative rolls I've seen though! Our server was very nice and made our experience very pleasant. Wouldn't go back just because the rolls were OK. Sashimi was delicious though!! Very thick pieces and the fish tasted very good raw. read more
3 stars for ok food and mediocre service. Stopped by for dinner after visiting someone at the hospital down the road. The restaurant didn't appear to be too busy when we sat down. We got our waters and our orders taken within 10 minutes of seating. I ordered unagi don, bf ordered tonkatsu ramen and his daughter ordered 2 rolls. Our food took a while to arrive. They looked like they had a lot of to go orders to fill and there was only 2 sushi chefs. The restaurant is also a tiny space. Food eventually arrived. My unagi don was good. It was served over sushi rice and I got a bowl of miso on the side. Ramen was ok ramen. You cannot compare to other ramen places. I would not care to come back to dine. read more

Love eating here! Amazing food and service. Food is always delicious! The Lion King Roll is a fun roll to get. The Volcano is definitely my favorite, though. We always order the shrimp stuffed wontons! Tried the Under the Sea roll for the first time tonight and it was so good. read more
