Sushi Saint absolutely lived up to the hype! This was a fantastic sushi experience. We had an 8:00pm reservation for bar seating and arrived a few minutes early. We did end up waiting about 10 minutes while the previous reservation wrapped up, but the host team was incredibly warm and welcoming, which made it a non-issue. Once seated, our server was knowledgeable and helpful, especially when one of the rolls I originally wanted (shrimp tempura spicy tuna) was sold out for the night. He recommended the Hamachi roll instead, and it ended up being my second favorite item we ordered that evening. Food-wise, everything was standout: * The blue fin tasting was incredible--easily the highlight of the night. The quality and richness were next level. * The Hamachi roll was fresh, balanced, and just overall so delicious. * The crab + wagyu roll was indulgent in the best way. * The seared scallop hand roll with brown butter and cucumber was unique and perfectly executed. * The Sichuan cucumbers were just ok. This item could use a little more flavor and pizzazz. * The patatas bravas were such a fun, unexpected addition to the menu and definitely worth ordering. The were crispy and delicious! * Even the miso soup (not shown) was comforting and flavorful. That's how we ended our meal. You can tell there's a lot of intention behind both the menu and the presentation. It feels elevated without being pretentious. Next time, I'm already planning to try the 5-piece nigiri selection and hopefully get my hands on the shrimp tempura spicy tuna roll if it's not sold out again. Overall, such a great spot for a date night or a nicer dinner in Winter Park. Can't wait to come back!

#SUPPORTLOCALBUSINESSES Everything about dinner was great. I love when a casual date night turns into an unexpectedly special time. The space inside is very intimate so it's great for a date or celebration meal with someone you love. If you're into high quality seafood and a small menu with unique options this is a great place to try. I can say me and my partner were making bets on who would get the last piece of every plate we had. Alsooooo, all the ingredients are sources locally with some ingredients grown by the chefs themselves. That type of flavor is unique and easy to identify when you taste how fresh everything is.

This location has only been open a month and to tell you I was completely shocked would be an understatement! Our server Ashley made our experience worthwhile and the food was paced perfectly and grew incredibly more delectable with every single bite! We started off with the Honey Garlic Edamame which had my partner and I debating if we should order thirds of edamame because it was simply that good! Followed that up with a hamachi truffle potato sashimi which was the perfect sweet and milky treat and honestly might have been one of my favorite bites of the night! Moving onto the handrolls all though we tried a couple, the A5 Wagyu & mushroom, the Crab with miso butter, and the seared scallop were soft, buttery, tender, and seasoned to perfection. Consider these three handrolls unskippable next time you stop by! And I know what you're thinking what sushi roll do you get?? We got three of them! We got the spicy tuna roll, the A5 Wagyu & crab, and hamachi and to be honest? All of them were top tier you truly couldn't go wrong! You'll catch us coming back without a doubt!

We celebrated Galentine's Day at the new Sushi Saint in Winter Park and overall had a great experience! The atmosphere is trendy and lively without feeling overwhelming, and the presentation of each dish was beautiful. Our server, Kevin, was super friendly and gave awesome recommendations that really elevated the experience. He was attentive without hovering and made the night feel easy and fun. We started with the caviar donut and the caviar was definitely the standout there and absolutely delicious. I also had the Kurasawa to drink, which paired really nicely with the meal and felt like a fun, elevated choice. For rolls, I ordered the spicy tuna hand roll along with the crab and wagyu sushi roll. Both were fresh and flavorful, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. My friend ordered the hamachi potato truffle sushi, and that was honestly one of the most enjoyable bites of the night! Super well balanced and unique without being over the top. Overall, Sushi Saint delivers a creative menu, solid flavors, and a great vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something a little different from your typical sushi spot.

Our server was incredible. She had an amazing personality and service was on point! My favorite was the tuna sashimi... followed closely by the mochi dessert!

So if you're a long time Central Florida resident, then you know that street is very walkable and super cute with the park nearby but also high end. I mean it has a Williams Sonoma, like casually. The restaurant is located at 525 S Park Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789. My boyfriend did get the reservation I think about a month in advance. It very much surprised me as one of my goals is to try new places in Orlando, and this was one that he had been to that I hadn't been to. So A++++ for him. So the restaurant had a super nice atmosphere but was very booked out. There were heart balloons at every table. So the decor was absolutely in the room with us lol. The service was very nice and I feel that they were very attentive and almost felt like maybe they had been trained to provide a certain feeling to customers. I'm sure they had been. Getting into the food, I'm not sure what the bill was. I wasn't allowed to look at it. I will say that I'm sure it was at least $100. I did leave feeling very full, but I do feel like that's a lot of money for me to feel full. We ordered the Misoyaki Butterfish, which was a Miso-glazed Chilean sea bass on a plate with ginger-sake eggplant, butter garlic sautéed spinach, and Japanese potato purée. It's a large plate and we did share, but it was not the whole fish. I think if I pay $45 for a fish, I want the whole fish. My rating is 8.5/10. It was incredibly delicious, but I want the rest of my fish. We also got the Kanpungi, which was fried Korean style boneless chicken bites smothered in a spicy soy sauce glaze. My rating of this is 9/10. I think it was great and was very filling for an appetizer. We accidentally ran into our friends at the restaurant, who had sent us a bottle of sake. The sake was great. We sent back a non-alcoholic cocktail they had and a sake based cocktail. I couldn't tell you what it tasted like, but the service presented and delivered back and forth between our table in a manner I can only describe as carrier pigeon-esque. They did great. I love fanfare. I think for a first date, this is a great place to bring someone you have been talking to for a little bit and want to show that you have a good stable job in this economy and like foods outside of American food. I wasn't on a first date as a note lol. My overall rating is 7.5/10. I mean I think everything was great, but that price stabbed me a little. My boyfriend did suggest to me that it would have been a higher rating if we had gotten one of the rolls. So that's on me. It is in a great walkable neighborhood though. So you are getting charged for ambiance.

Our server Michelle was very nice and offered good input to our questions about the dishes. Grateful and delighted! kabooki's quality and execution of the dishes are a work of art! Both times we sat at sushi table and watched all the sushi chefs doing their magic was a great show. We started with the hamachi carpaccio and the beef carpaccio and both were chefs kiss We had the bluefin tasting which was great progression of variety of bluefin. Mauro Truffle, Kona Kampachi, leche de Tigro were tasty unique options. The use of micro greens and flowers was really pretty besides being tasty!! Definitely worth checking out!!

Let's start with props for being open at that time on a day when most restaurants are still sleeping from the night before. But here, you can get highly-curated, quality Japanese hand-rolls, with Sapporo or Asahi on draft, all kinds of sake, a calm, soothing atmosphere and friendly service. The place itself is very art-directed, modern and purposeful. Apparently it's owned by the Kabooki Sushi team, and the quality speaks for itself. It's not your typical sushi restaurant. It's hand rolls. Which means, seaweed is the wrap. Theirs is imported straight from Japan. And for the record, the seaweed is dense, flavorful and also way healthier for you than a mouthful of rice. I sat for the omakase which included a very delicious hamachi appetizer. Then an onslaught of handrolls including lobster, eel, a lean and fatty tuna (toro, the best) and a spicy root vegetable of the name I can't remember. In all, this place has great hours. A wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. And flavors that you can explore because the folks there want you to have fun eating the food as they prepare it. It's very live and fresh. And I'm super grateful it's just a few blocks away because I'll leave you with this. The prices are reasonable too. 5 stars all around. But be careful, I hear it gets packed during peak evening hours. Bravo though. Mosonori has a place in Orlando's culinary scene, for sure.
