Such a great unofficial Yelp event with some friends yesterday. I arrived right during opening and we were all seated at the bar. Our bartender suggested some drinks and I took a drink that looked like a martini, but I forgot the name of it. It was an unique and sophisticated drink as it tasted olive flavor. It was quite enjoyable, but light on the alcohol for 16 dollars. I did the magical dining menu for 40 dollars. I took the patatas bravas for my appetizer, which reminded me of esquites, but with potatoes instead of corn, and a Japanese touch. It was really good that I savored every bite. It had to be the cheese that made it so delicious. For the hand rolls, I choose the hamachi and crab. The hamachi was fresh and the wasabi aoili brought a kick. The crab was also great, but could have been a bit sweeter. Both were nicely sized and were consumed in 3 bites. The soy sauce drops were unique and enhanced the flavor. For the maki, I chose the crunchy spicy tuna roll. The tuna was melt in your mouth fresh, and the toppings were scrumptious too. I didn't really care for the crunch, which I think were the tempura flakes, but it still tasted good. For dessert, the uba ice cream sandwich was a nice end. It was a bit too hard that I should have waited a couple minutes to enjoy, but the ube had a light flavor and the chocolate wafers that made the sandwich were nice and light. The service were very attentive. Our glasses were refilled constantly, napkins were refolded when we took a break, and staff kept on checking in with us. Our bartender was easy going and social, even when he was busy making the drinks. The dining area is very small and cramped, so it can get talkative, but not too loud to enjoy the sexy lounge music. I am so happy I finally was able to try Sushi Saint. It is located in the same building where Soseki is. It's definitely higher quality sushi at an upscale setting. The bartender waiter was fun and friendly. The Manager (?) would deliver food for my neighbor & explained where her fresh produce ingredients and such had been sourced from. I didn't get any of that, just that this is this, & that is that. I splurged & added caviar to my patatas bravas from the Magical Dining menu for around an extra $15-$16 dollars, but it wasn't enough to make a difference. Texture was sort of soft, not popping. The potato texture was really great & the flavor likewise. Hand rolls were cute & sort of small to medium in terms of filling. Sushi roll was tight, well created, zero mess, great flavor. Petite yet long. Dessert was a misnomer by calling the black sesame seed mochi gel cube a "cake". It did not taste like "Snickers" in my opinion. The cream dollop mouse was nice. $5 Real sugar Mexican Coke bottle. Sitting at the bar was okay, people walked by me often, & a table might be better, but it's a compact place. I had dinner here during Magical Dining and it was a wonderful experience! Kevin took such good care of my friends and I. I was also very impressed with the wine list and help from our server with choosing from the list. The ambience was elegant but also easy-going. Now onto the food. I think this was an incredible value for $40. Each person at our table ordered MD and we all shared the apps. The patatas bravas were seasoned and crispy, the edamame was tender and paired nicely with the truffle oil and salt. For the temaki course, the hamachi was perfectly cut and the seaweed perfectly crispy. Again, service was amazing because we were instructed not to wait until all were served to eat our temaki as the seaweed is best freshly rolled. For the maki course, i opted for the King salmon with truffle and I found this absolutely scrumptious. This is the bite I keep thinking about. For dessert, the ube ice cream sando was perfectly chilled, not too sweet with a hint of salt on the chocolate biscuit. My kind of dessert. This was a wonderful sushi experience. The ambiance of the place allows you to relax. It's tasteful, modern, enjoyable, down to the cute pottery where your food is served. Speaking of food, those Japanese inspired patatas bravas were AMAZING!! The aioli on top has this hint of lemon and the saltiness of the cotija cheese, sooo sooo good! I'd come back just to eat that again. We were eating from the magical dining menu and we got to choose 2 of the hand rolls. I picked hamachi and the truffle mushroom one which was a vegetarian selection and I have to say, I liked that one best, but I'm huge fan of anything truffle, and this just exploded with truffle flavor in my mouth. I also chose the king salmon truffle roll and that was just ok. Didn't really have much of a truffle flavor. I had tried my friends california roll and I found that to be better. I liked the texture of the fish eggs on that one. Last but not least; their mochi snickers cake was so delightful. Small, but the perfect ending to a fabulous meal. Sushi Saint in Winter Park was such a great experience from start to finish! The ambiance is cozy and intimate, making it a perfect spot for a quiet date night. The service was wonderful. Everyone was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and happy to answer any questions I had. Each course also came out surprisingly quickly without ever making the experience feel rushed. We visited during Magical Dining Month and took advantage of the three-course menu for $40. I started with the Patatas Bravas, followed by the Truffle Salmon for my main course, and finished with the Ube Ice Cream Sandwich for dessert. I also ordered a mezcal cocktail--I can't remember the name, but it was delicious! Everything was honestly a 10/10. What I really appreciated about Sushi Saint was the simplicity of the menu. The focus is clearly on the quality and freshness of the seafood rather than overwhelming you with options. Even with the soy sauce, they recommend using very little because everything is already seasoned so well--and they were absolutely right. If you're a sushi lover who appreciates quality seafood and a more curated dining experience, Sushi Saint is definitely worth checking out. I would absolutely go back! read more

Loved our delicious Magicla dining experience here for our girls night. That sichuan cucumbers was so good, we could just eat the chili crunch all by itself. We also enjoyed the potatoes bravas with that yuzu aioli, yummy! We ordered their petal peach cocktail that was light and sweet and with a tasty foam topping. The Temaki were so good! We both really enjoyed the crab with its miso butter, and we got our own king salmon with lime miso and the spicy tuna temaki. Both equally delicious that we could just keep ordering more. For the sushi rolls we both chose the crunchy spicy tuna roll and the pickled Serrano along with wasabi was no joke and nasal cleanser! So good though and the quality of all the seafood was top notch. The dessert though unfortunately fell flat for us. We also both picked the black sesame mochi cake with "snickers" ice cream but that did not hit like everything else. Okay, where do you get into this place? Oh, in the back! I found that out after entering the front door. Better signage please. To make it more confusing, it is right next to Soseki Modern Omakase -- as in I think they are the same place, sort of. Anyway... Inside, I had a seat at the bar and was here for the Bite30 menu. To start I had the Patatas Bravas - Crispy potatoes topped with yozu aioli, cotija cheese, aleppo pepper, bonito flake and chives. Wow! What an amazing way to start the meal! From there the Crunchy Spicy Tuna Maki - dry aged tuna, avocado, cucumber and pickled daikon. It was great though I must say that the way they do their soy sauce is intimidating. To top the meal off I had a truly amazing Mango and Matcha Mochi. I'm not a huge mochi fan but this round of them might have me converted. Bar service was great and everything came out at a good pace. Not waiting too long for anything but also not feeling like I was rushed either. Do grab a reservation if you come here as it is not that big at all. The music was just shy of being too loud, but I also think it fit in well with the ambiance they are attempting to achieve. It seems Sushi Saint was Michelin 2025 and I believe Soseki is 2026. Either way, something beyond good is going on here. Dive in and find out! read more

This location has only been open a month and to tell you I was completely shocked would be an understatement! Our server Ashley made our experience worthwhile and the food was paced perfectly and grew incredibly more delectable with every single bite! We started off with the Honey Garlic Edamame which had my partner and I debating if we should order thirds of edamame because it was simply that good! Followed that up with a hamachi truffle potato sashimi which was the perfect sweet and milky treat and honestly might have been one of my favorite bites of the night! Moving onto the handrolls all though we tried a couple, the A5 Wagyu & mushroom, the Crab with miso butter, and the seared scallop were soft, buttery, tender, and seasoned to perfection. Consider these three handrolls unskippable next time you stop by! And I know what you're thinking what sushi roll do you get?? We got three of them! We celebrated Galentine's Day at the new Sushi Saint in Winter Park and overall had a great experience! The atmosphere is trendy and lively without feeling overwhelming, and the presentation of each dish was beautiful. Our server, Kevin, was super friendly and gave awesome recommendations that really elevated the experience. He was attentive without hovering and made the night feel easy and fun. We started with the caviar donut and the caviar was definitely the standout there and absolutely delicious. I also had the Kurasawa to drink, which paired really nicely with the meal and felt like a fun, elevated choice. For rolls, I ordered the spicy tuna hand roll along with the crab and wagyu sushi roll. Both were fresh and flavorful, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. My friend ordered the hamachi potato truffle sushi, and that was honestly one of the most enjoyable bites of the night! Super well balanced and unique without being over the top. Sushi Saint absolutely lived up to the hype! This was a fantastic sushi experience. We had an 8:00pm reservation for bar seating and arrived a few minutes early. We did end up waiting about 10 minutes while the previous reservation wrapped up, but the host team was incredibly warm and welcoming, which made it a non-issue. Once seated, our server was knowledgeable and helpful, especially when one of the rolls I originally wanted (shrimp tempura spicy tuna) was sold out for the night. He recommended the Hamachi roll instead, and it ended up being my second favorite item we ordered that evening. Food-wise, everything was standout: * The blue fin tasting was incredible--easily the highlight of the night. The quality and richness were next level. * The Hamachi roll was fresh, balanced, and just overall so delicious. * The crab + wagyu roll was indulgent in the best way. * The seared scallop hand roll with brown butter and cucumber was unique and perfectly executed. * The Sichuan cucumbers were just ok. This item could use a little more flavor and pizzazz. * The patatas bravas were such a fun, unexpected addition to the menu and definitely worth ordering. The were crispy and delicious! * Even the miso soup (not shown) was comforting and flavorful. That's how we ended our meal. You can tell there's a lot of intention behind both the menu and the presentation. It feels elevated without being pretentious. Next time, I'm already planning to try the 5-piece nigiri selection and hopefully get my hands on the shrimp tempura spicy tuna roll if it's not sold out again. the hamachi temaki and hamachi roll were SO good! idk if it was the fish or if there was some sauce in it but WOW it was amazing. the salmon carpo was also insanely good we were raving about it the entire night. and the yuzu cheesecake? i don't even like cheesecake but man that was good. the tuna, crab, and salmon temaki were also pretty good but nothingggg compared to the hamachi; i'd probably rank it hamachi, tuna, salmon, crab. the crispy tuna roll were alright, it didn't taste like anything special beyond a regular tuna roll. potatoes were mediocre, i definitely have had better in different places, and i didn't really like the fish flakes (not sure how else to describe them) on the top. it just felt like very clashing flavors. i also didn't really care for the strawberry mochi but maybe it's just not my thing. i got the yu-so-spicy cocktail without the fire bitters bc i didn't want it to be spicy haha but next time ill try it with, but that was super good. the inside was sooo pretty and very nice. the food also came out really quickly, everything was perfectly timed read more

~ WP Location Not Kid-Friendly Sushi Saint DTO is always a great experience, so I thought Winter Park would be the same. My kids have been to the DT location and never had an issue, maybe because they know a booth would be best for the kids. While it was nice of the GM to help us get set up with the reservation on the fly and informed us of our 1.5hr time limit , he also denied our request of getting the table with the booth, insisting that it would take away from other smaller reservations as we had 7 adults and 4 kids. (We could've made it work) Instead, we were placed in the middle of the restaurant. Realistically, I know it's not ideal for us to have brought four kids but we were next door at Perlas trying to grab a bite, but it was crowded from their Saucy Sunday event and we were sitting outside and wanted to change up the environment without having to put the kids back in the car seats and drive again. Just mom things. That's what prompted me to walk to Sushi Saint with my two year old to make reservations. At this point, the GM knew what he was expecting when I told him we had kids because she was with me when we interacted about the reservation. I would know when my kids are being disruptive. they weren't cranky because we fed them a pizza from perlas, and they were occupied because we brought some coloring books and toys. But to be approached by the GM midway through my meal to be told that guests are leaving because of my family was not only disrespectful, but very unprofessional. Especially because I had confirmed with a table near me and asked if we were being disruptive and they said we weren't. So it was really just one couple, but the GM made it seem like it was as a series of multiple people. Our server came up to me and even apologized for the GM's distasteful interaction because our servers also saw no issues with the kids. After only an hour, we concluded the meal. Truly, it almost felt as though kids were hated here. Just say you don't allow kids and we would have understood. read more

We have been to the downtown location a lot since it's one of our favorite spots. This new location did not disappoint. All of it was delicious, top three for me was the mushroom handroll and the delicious jam in it, shishito peppers with the nice hit of salt they have, and that beautiful Ube ice cream sandwich. Her top three were the caviar donut, hamachi, and ube ice cream sandwich. My friends were excited one of our favorite restaurants was opening a location closer to us! Unfortunately the atmosphere and service totally killed our experience. My kids came along to the downtown location so I assumed it was fine to bring them along here as well. The GM was noticeably uncomfortable with the presence of children. Collin, approached my wife as she was headed to the bathroom with our daughter halfway through our meal to tell her that the children were making other guests uncomfortable. We had already ordered food and drinks so our table was confused whether we were being kicked out mid meal or if we had to even pay our bill at this point. In summary we won't be back here but I'd recommend you try the downtown location! read more
